This review goes out to Kymm. If I could give 6 stars, I would! I went to Regis for the first time yesterday, hoping that trying out a different hair salon wouldn't end in hair regret. But alas, it did not. Kymm gave me her undivided attention, and was super thorough in her work in order to help me achieve the nice cool blonde I was after. On top of having a fun and very kind personality, she is so talented and easy to communicate with (very important attributes to find in a hair dresser!) Absolutely frustrating, the worst service and haircut I've had in many years. The lady who cut my hair today acted the whole time like she was annoyed that I even came in. I said "good morning, how are you?" What I received was the cold shoulder the whole time. All I requested was a classic High & Tight Military cut using a two on the sides faded towards the top and leaving the top a little longer so I can style. This is the easiest men's haircut and pretty standard for military members or young professionals. No neck shaves, no hair wash, no eyebrow trims, no care, no water in my hair to even trim it, just uncomfortable pulling on dry hair. And for $42... wow. I still gave a tip for her time, but I'm so frustrated and hair is completely incorrect. read more

My hair color turned out terrific! My stylist took her time, & demonstrated what a true artist she is!!!!

I came in and asked for a trim. I thought I expressed how I wanted my hair cut... not over my ears, the fringe in the back gone. What I got... was not a trim. I look like a dude. At the end of the cut, the stylist expressed how much she liked this cut... well that's nice for you!! But it's not what I asked for! I just spent $42 for something I did not want. I am now going to cut my own hair. At least when I get a shitty cut, it won't cost me $42 + tip! read more

Booking an appointment online was quick and easy. I brought my special needs daughter in because her waist length hair has become matted. The staff was beyond friendly and even re arranged later appointments to accommodate us. It took almost 2 hours and 3 staff to get her brushed out. They did an amazing job and trimmed and thinned her hair out so that it would be way more manageable. read more

Having extended my stay in Bend for another two months, I found myself in dire need of a haircut. Let me start by saying that my hair is extremely curly and I wear it very short...so, it is reasonable to say that it's hard to find someone that is well versed and experienced with both of these traits. Well, I was referred to Regis Salon on Hwy. 97 by my 13 year old niece and her girlfriends..."a great cut at a great price". So (with some hesitations) I made my appointment for noon the next day. Haylie Mckernan was my stylist and she was SUPERB!!! She listened to me and my expectations and went to it! After over an hour in her chair, I was more than pleased with her efforts. She took her time and did a fantastic job. Her attention to detail and precision did not go unnoticed - I highly recommend this salon. The location may be difficult for some to find, but Regis Salon is located in the shopping plaza on Hwy. 97 - tucked away behind Ross'. Cannot say enough - clean, neat, organized, well-managed and a super staff! read more

I was able to get in today for a haircut. The stylist I used to go to would often book appointments a couple of weeks out from when it was needed, so I was grateful to be able to get in on such short notice. My stylist was Holly, she was very knowledgeable and did an awesome haircut for my unruly long hair. Holly is very kind and pleasant to chat with. I give Holly all 5 stars because my hair looks gorgeous! read more

I got a haircut and partial foil from Hayley today and had a great experience. She took what I was looking for, added a few suggestions, and I ended up with a great summer cut and color. The only reason I knocked them a star was they kept trying to reschedule my appointment for earlier in the day as she needed to leave at 5 pm. We were able to figure something out, but when my appointment ran over, I got worried that she needed to leave and she said she was fine, no big deal. So I have no idea what that was about. However, I would recommend this salon. Everyone that came in while I was in there looked great when they were leaving. read more

Chain hair salons can get a bad reputation; often well deserved (don't get me started on Great Clips!) but the Regis Salon at Cascade Village is different. A little over two years ago I needed to change my hair. On a whim I decided to chop it off into a pixie. My sister had just had an incredibly cute cut and color done at Regis, so I called. I was adamant on the phone that I needed someone who could cut curly hair. And I wanted an appointment that night. Done. Tammy, who turned out the be the manager, looked over my hair and the pictures I brought and explained everything. Yes, she would have to use a razer (cringe), but it could be done. (truthfully I wanted Alyssa Milano's hair...but we always want what we can't have) Tammy is a trouper, and kept my hairstyle well-tended for the next year. I tried another place when I moved and it was no good. I've gone back to her since then and had her chop it off all over again. It's hard to find a good hair stylist, but when you do, don't let go. read more

I've been going to Rachel here for 3+ years. She is by far the best stylist/colorist. She is super funny and down to earth. She also does my waxing and is extremely efficient. Can't imagine going anywhere else! read more

I grew my hair out for over 14 months and finally decided to go short and made the wrong decision by going to Regis salon. I got my haircut by a friendly women and left the salon realizing I had long strands hanging down and went back in to get it fixed. I sat down and a different woman brushed my hair out because the first woman was on a lunch break. It was layered 2 inches apart and hacked when I told her I wanted a simple straight across haircut. The woman "fixed" my hair and I had to go much shorter than I originally wanted to. I never got an apology. The woman at the front desk was rude. When I first entered the salon she just kept looking at her phone and didn't look up instead of greeting me. I am now sitting in a much better salon getting my hair really fixed because it was still uneven. I do not recommend Regis salon. read more

Holly - you are amazing! I am always nervous to get my haircut because I grew up with my mom cutting my hair for the first 20+ years of my life, and I haven't gotten a great haircut since I moved away from my parents - until now! I will definitely be going back to Holly for my haircuts from now on. She really sought to understand what it was that I wanted, asked a lot of questions and made sure I was happy with all the decisions she was making throughout the cut. I recently had my hair cut here primarily because they had same-day appointments available, and my usual hairstylist was booked out a week. Bad decision. This is the worst hair cut I have ever had. The appointment took an hour and a half, and I have short hair. The stylist clearly had no idea what she was doing. My hair is now over-texturized, looks extremely thin, and is very uneven. read more

Chelsea is amazing!! Every time I go in for my color touch up and haircut I leave feeling like a million $$$ she is so fun and I love getting to sit and get pampered and chit chat with her. Chelsea has a great personality and really understands my hair needs. I've been seeing her for awhile now and she is always able to give me exactly what I want even when I'm not sure exactly what that is! I went in for a bob haircut just under my chin dark blonde hair with light blond chunks I walked out with Red hair so then I go back to see manager I say its red and I could use a few more layers in the back. I walk out with a short shag. Holly cut all my hair off that I had spent months trying to grow healthy hair no blow drying no chemicals. Now thanks to Holly I have to use mousse and blow dry my hair because it is so short. The kicker is my hair is still red! read more

I have been going to Chelsea at Regis for over a year. She does the best styling job at a very reasonable price in a nice setting.

I went in to Regis on the recommendation of a friend after moving to Bend. I will admit I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair but this seemed pretty unacceptable. I had just seen my dermatologist about a scalp issue and she prescribed a trim to help the issue. My hair was probably about three inches above my hip, natural color, and hadn't been touched in about three months. I don't straighten or curl my hair very often so I knew it wasn't terribly damaged, I just had a lot of it. When I told the stylist that I wanted only a trim and thinning, she agreed. She then proceeded to cut 10-12 inches off of my hair, in one big lop, stating before I could do anything about it,"Well, this looks like where your split ends stop." I left the salon and called my friend in tears, as my hair does not grow fast at all. It had taken me 6 years to grow my hair that long, and in ten seconds she took it all. I was extremely upset and still am. Will not be returning. read more
