They don't take appt but instead you can check in via internet or app to get in line and get an estimated wait time, mine was 2 hours. it was pretty accurate and i arrived 10 minutes early, my name was on their welcome monitor, and i waited for a few more minutes and Katie walked me back... she was terrific, seemed to intuitively know what i needed, some pleasant conversation and viola, perfect cut, looked great. Will not be back. I understand that not all haircuts are going to be perfect. There's limits to communication and how you describe what you want will affect the outcom. That being said. The haircut I received today was bar none the worst I have ever had. I simply asked for some off the sides and back and about an inch off the top. A basic clean up. She then proceeded to excute a skin fade with precision of a toddler. Leaving me with a skin head esc haircut. I felt like as if she just did what she wanted. null n void all suggestion. All in all I will not be back. You can tell they hire all who pass the class and it seems new people are hired every week. I have had good haircuts in the past from here. I have come to really appreciate the Great Clips brand as they offer usually a good haircut for a reasonable price. Sure you have some situations where you have somebody who still sort of learning the the ropes and maybe doesn't give you the same quality of a cut that somebody experienced might, but I found that it's been few and far between. This location does follow suit with some really talented personnel working here, and you can sprinkle in a couple that are still learning the ropes's but they don't do a bad job. The location is kind of tucked into a small offshoot strip mall style building next to Fred Meyer and isn't so easy to spot but once you know it's there it's like a great little find. The interior is a little small as well but certainly is easy to navigate once you're inside I need to use the restroom or staff moving around, no concern of it being too tightly cramped. read more

Took my 2 year old here for a special birthday hair cut. Checked in online but still had to wait 15 minutes. The older stylist who got assigned to us looked openly displeased that she got the short stick of a toddler haircut. She weakly attempted to be kid-friendly but when my son got scared and started crying her only real solution was to offer him some candy (no thanks). She did not even attempt to look at the picture I bought with me for a simple boys haircut and told me she could just "take a little off the top" to get him used to the process. I took this to mean she would snip a few hairs then charge me $15. I left with a crying child and no haircut feeling as though I was very much not a welcome customer and an inconvenience to her day. I used the check in app (checked in prior to leaving my house) and only had to wait 5 minutes as Judy was finishing up with a client. Staff is super friendly! I was greeted as soon as I walked in! Horrible experience from start to finish. The owner has yet to reach out to me event though I've reported problems with the services I received and the way his employees act. Theresa needs to be fired because she has no clue how to function in a customer service role and seemed rather emotional and not able to handle herself which is unfortunate because she's supposed to be a professional. Also they tried to use some excuse of their manager had just quit but that is not the customers problem my service should be just as good as what I'm paying my money for. Also, one of the workers asked for my debit card number for a "refund" that is still yet to be processed. So I would not be surprised if there is some sort of fraud taking place. I have always taken my boys to Great Clips for haircuts, and I hate to give bad reviews. But this needs to be said. While my oldest, who is 15, got a GREAT haircut from Jesse (Jesse, great job and thanks), my youngest, who is 13, was butchered. Kelly did his hair and didn't like when I'd asked her to go shorter at the halfway mark, since I could tell it was too long. (And my son didn't get anything super special. Clippers on the sides, a little longer on top.) Then she apparently muttered to my son that she'd make it super short so I wouldn't have anything else to complain about. (He told me after we'd gotten home.) I wish she would have just told me she had a problem with her job and not taken it out on my son's hair. Had I realized how badly it looked right after she'd cut it (the front was gelled and moved to the side), I would have gone in and demanded my money back. The poor kid had a bowl cut and looked terrible. Fortunately, he had a week before school started to let it grow out a bit and kept brushing it to the side. I will no longer take my kids to Great Clips. Period. I can handle a bad haircut. Not the attitude or passive-aggressive crap. Two stars only because Jesse did such a great job. read more

Unsatisfactory. I felt great discrimination from my stylist. I haven't had my hair cut professionally in awhile. This stylist kept commenting that I really needed a cut...I get it, lady. That's why I'm here. No need to rub it in to make me feel bad. I also have some dreadlocks. She handled my hair in a disgusted way and bulged her eyes at the fact I had dreads and overdue hair. I asked her to clean up the shaved side of my head for a tattoo I'll be getting. She acted surprised, not in a good way. She also took too much off from the back. This is because she wasn't really giving me a chance to confirm. I tried making small conversation, but every time I said anything she would interrupt me to say something to the other stylists. I felt so unwanted here and understood clearly that my stylist wanted me out of her chair ASAP (a combination of this and the interruptions is likely why my head is shaved more than what I wanted...) I brought this woman business and even tipped her after the fact. I believe I should have been welcomed, acknowledged, and appreciated. I will not be coming back here. I suggest if you have hair that's overdue for a trim, want to shave any of your head, or have any dreadlocks, that you find a different establishment. read more

Today, I checked in and watched three people arrive after me, who had checked in online, and were helped before me. After waiting over 30 minutes I left. I will never use this business again. The staff was rude. Not a place for children's haircuts, even though they tell you they are when you ask! I was not pleased with my haircut because the stylist did not cut my hair how I had asked and acted like I really put her out when I had her fix it. The guys that cut my sons hair did a good job cutting his hair. So if you don't care about anything else but a good haircut go for it! However my son is four years old and he was very rough and kind of rude. He blew the hair dryer in his face without warning him to close his eyes. He sprayed water in his face and told him it's just water it's not going to kill you! I asked him if he wanted me to stand and watch or go sit down.
