Ashlee was amazing in figuring out what would be best for my hair so that I can obtain what I want without destroying my hair. Not only was she extremely talented, she's a super cool chick. I normally am counting down the time when I get my hair done but not this time - I was truly enjoying my time chatting with her. AND the service was so much more reasonably priced than I expected. I'll be traveling but I'm considering swinging back through Bend just to see her in a month or so when it's time for a touch up. I absolutely love my hair. Tl;dr - Ashlee is awesome. The receptionist was super cool. They take your temp and sanitize upon entry (masks required). The products they use are great (shout out to Oribe) and they are MORE than reasonable with pricing. I also understand that there is a time and a place to take a hard line and when to compromise. Megan Sedres chose wrong...hence, you chose wrong. Your response shows a lack of understanding as to the situation and its tenets. I could agree with it for most people but I know my wife and so do many other people in this area. You didn't do your due diligence to contact her before (reminder call/text) or during her missed appt time. If it is a 3-hour block there was plenty of time for you all to reach out but you didn't. With regard to charging people X% of their expected service for a missed appt, that's a whole different discussion altogether. Make a policy that you all will call/message people a day prior as a 'courtesy' to remind them of their appt otherwise you will be forced to charge them a % of your over-priced services. We will happily take our business elsewhere and not direct business in your direction. Again, it was Megan Sedres' approach as well as yours that is so off-putting.
