If you're a hot dog person, this is definitely a place to stop! Owners are friendly and the dogs…read moreare very good! The place is a lil rough on the outside but it's a gas station/convenience store, so to be a lil expected. You just need to go suck it up n go inside... you'll be glad you did. There are a couple 2-person tables inside to eat and a rough but nice enough his/her restroom (better than some fast-food restaurants I've been in). Overall, I'm glad we went while we were visiting Greenwood, SC. Not sure I'll be back that way again but if I am, I'll stop again. Definitely recommend for any hot dog lovers!!

I saw Patricia's review and bookmarked this spot for an eventual trip. And so when I was passing…read morethrough, this was a target. It's a simple gas station and convenience store on the outside, selling sodas and beers and apparently, quite a few lottery tickets. There is a kitchen area with posted menus of fried foods and hot dogs. And here I am ordering two bacon fried hot dogs with onions, mustard and chili. Oh, Mylanta. They're not very large but two was plenty. Prepared to order and brought to me at the table, I enjoyed them quite a lot. Delicious and full of flavor, I am expecting some heartburn later. Friendly service in this out of the way spot. But you need to put it "in" your way and get some Dawgs. [Review 19355 overall - 929 in South Carolina - 325 of 2023.]

I…read morehad gotten the New Yorker delicious, the only thing I didn't Ike about it was my soggy Bun in places. I do not like any kind of soggy bread. My husband on the other hand said his great balls of fire special was delicious. He loved everything about it. And we will definitely be back , he also said the homemade banana pudding was amazing.. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was good. , the place was very clean and plenty of parking. They had something for everyone. Vegetarian no problem they had veggie dogs or create your own hot dog. But overall the place is good the food is fresh and delicious!

Tried out this new spot on Wade Hampton Blvd and it's such a welcome addition to the area! I love…read morethat they have traditional Carolina style hot dogs as well as other more unique options and brats as well. They use all beef hot dogs so they're a good size and filling! We tried the Carolina girl - loved the chili and onions and mustard, truly a Carolina classic. Also loved the family tradition- the slaw on it was great. The ambiance inside was charming; we got it as take out to bring home this time but I look forward to going back in person to get a beer and catch a trivia night!

Found myself in the area and knew I had to come back here!…read moreI've reviewed this place before, but I'm going to give them their flowers every time because they just simply don't miss! I got the Italian beef sandwich this time (highly recommend), and it was genuinely perfect. My mom got the meatloaf sandwich which was very tasty, and my dad really enjoyed his Carolina dog. Will forever praise the sweet potato fries, but the onion rings knock it out of the open as well, especially alongside the dipping sauce they provide with them. The gentleman who rang us up was very good at his job, I regret not snagging his name! Very polite, which is always noticed and greatly appreciated. Clean, plenty of seating (inside and outside), and just an overall great vibe to the place. Wish I didn't live 2 hours away, cause this would be a weekly, if not daily spot!

So weirdly expensive for a hot dog joint. 2 Dawgs and fries will have you in the $20 range. I had…read morethe chili cheese dawg which was good as well as a corn dog and tots. I later added a vanilla shake which was another ten dollars. It was all good and the shake was fantastic but it was over $30 per person. For a hot dog shack! They literally have two $11 hot dogs...what? My daughter's Philly Cheese was a steak sandwich. Not thinly sliced steak but great honking chunks of steak. It was a tough sandwich to get down. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant had a run down diner vibe. You could probably pare it down to $20 a person but that is still bonkers for sandwich and fries. I don't think we will be back but glad we tried it for sure!
