They never called to confirm an appt in June, sent a text either, so...?? She said it looks like I was supposed to have received a text advising me of that appointment in June. NOTHING. They made another appointment for me (two months from now) and I got no confirmation AGAIN of that date. No apology, literally the front desk could have cared less. I'll take my business to another dentist and let others know this isn't the place you want to reward with continued visits. Also, I never got a text confirming my "new" appointment. Gee, I wonder why.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!…read more This office is a scam. I took my 4 year old in for a cleaning. After x ray doctor comes out barely acknowledging me, stating my son needs 8! Yes 8 crowns on all his back teeth, top and bottom. He vaguely points at a black spot on the x ray that didn't look like anything. Dr says he needs crowns on all his teeth and he needs to be put to sleep. I know a lot of dentist overcharge adults but I didn't expect the insurance scam to be ran on children also. I took my son for a second opinion where they found one small cavity that doesn't require sedation. I don't know if Jamboree got the X-rays mixed up or if the Dr just wants more insurance money so they can get more flat screen TVs for the office.... This place is a scam. The Dr was arrogant, rude and as a mother I knew something was wrong based off my child's diet and the care I try to take with his teeth. My child was in no pain, teeth were not black or damaged. I asked the Dr for 8 crowns wouldn't he be in any pain? He replied "I wouldn't expect him to be" probably because there is no need ! I called back to Jamboree to get a better understanding of next steps and was told someone would call me back. No one called me back! Do not take your child here!

(Mind you they told me this without doing any x-rays) I went to a different dentist to get a 2nd opinion because this didnt seem right to me. His new Dr did x-rays and told me he just needed 2 fillings. No crowns NEEDED AT ALL! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR INSURANCE. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AT ALL. SO PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE TRIP AND FIND A DIFFERENT DENTAL OFFICE.

Every once in awhile you come across a dentist and staff that you never want to be without, this is…read morethe one. I'm from a small town, moved to Houston and lived there for 25 years and never really found a dentist I liked. I had some pretty bad experiences with dentists that had high turnover rates and receptionist's that were too busy to get off their phone that I almost gave up. From the first visit with Dr. Dorrah, I knew this place was different. They greet you by name and make you feel like you've known them your entire life and they're affordable. I didn't have dental insurance and needed extensive work because of chronic health issues that affected my teeth/gums. From the first consultation, I was told, we're going to fix your smile and get you out of pain. I never felt rushed or judged for the condition of my teeth, only compassion. I can't describe how good that felt, especially if you've been living in pain with dental issues for so long. I was also moving out of state in a matter of months, and Dr. Dorrah's office was incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help me complete everything quickly before the move. They even have a dental membership plan that offset costs substantially, which was so helpful without insurance. Other dentists in the area only gave me one expensive plan. Dr. Dorroh listened to my needs, got me out of pain immediately and gave me several different cosmetic options that I could choose from and were tailored to what we could afford and need at the moment. He is gentle and I never had to raise my hand once because of pain in all my time seeing him. I'm now able to smile with confidence again, and live without teeth pain. Grateful is an understatement. I wish I would have went to him years ago. Their office is so charming/relaxing, appearing to be one of the older homes in the quaint and historic downtown Tomball area that's been converted into a state of the art dental office with a big parking area out back. It's clean and easy to find, but it's the staff that sets this place apart the most. You can tell Dr. Dorroh has put in a lot of work in making this place so beneficial to his patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and chatting with the doctor, Vickie, Mary Beth and everyone else. It seems everybody has been with him for years and really love and care about what they're doing...and it shows in every facet of your treatment. If you're searching for a dentist in Spring, Tomball, the Woodlands, Magnolia, NW Houston, etc, this is the one. Honestly, it's worth the drive no matter where you are in the greater Houston area. I live in Alaska now, but will continue to schedule appointments when I come home to visit.

This was an amazing decision on my part. The lobby/waiting area is about as anti-dentist/medical office as you can get. It's quiet and relaxing. There's a water feature behind the receptionist's desk you can see and hear easily. {The recpetionist is very nice and cheery and loves to chat!} It's lit with gentle track lighting. She has healthy snacks in the waiting room and you're welcome to any of it - after all they're about to clean your teeth! Exceptionally clean all black devices bathroom. She is up to date on all the latest and newest technology and techniques. My first appointment in about 16 years went surprisingly well...no real shockers since I am in good tune with my body. The technician stopped once when she realised and commented I was licking my lips a lot. I responded explaining I'd left my lip balm in the car. She stopped what she was doing and fetched me a tiny little tube. They keep a basket of some of the niftiest scent/flavours on the way out. My son's first appointment with her didn't go so well - he only allowed them a visual exam, but that was partially my fault because I forgot to bring any of the comforting stuffy pals with us. She and I had a long conversation about this and his behaviour and where she wanted to go from there. She has a son of similar age and experienced much more resistance from him. The second appointment last Monday went very well. He allowed exam, cleaning and panoramic x rays. He got nervous when they went to do the bite wings so they stopped there. He has appointments quarterly for now to get him better acclimated with them and their processes as parents {for liability reasons} aren't allowed into the rooms with the children. I have to make an appt in the morning for myself to begin the corrections in my own mouth. Do not let this pretty young woman's looks or gentle demeanor fool you. She knows what she's doing and what she's talking about. If you want a good thorough and exceptionally pleasant dental experience this is the place and dentist for you!
