DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!…read more This office is a scam. I took my 4 year old in for a cleaning. After x ray doctor comes out barely acknowledging me, stating my son needs 8! Yes 8 crowns on all his back teeth, top and bottom. He vaguely points at a black spot on the x ray that didn't look like anything. Dr says he needs crowns on all his teeth and he needs to be put to sleep. I know a lot of dentist overcharge adults but I didn't expect the insurance scam to be ran on children also. I took my son for a second opinion where they found one small cavity that doesn't require sedation. I don't know if Jamboree got the X-rays mixed up or if the Dr just wants more insurance money so they can get more flat screen TVs for the office.... This place is a scam. The Dr was arrogant, rude and as a mother I knew something was wrong based off my child's diet and the care I try to take with his teeth. My child was in no pain, teeth were not black or damaged. I asked the Dr for 8 crowns wouldn't he be in any pain? He replied "I wouldn't expect him to be" probably because there is no need ! I called back to Jamboree to get a better understanding of next steps and was told someone would call me back. No one called me back! Do not take your child here!

(Mind you they told me this without doing any x-rays) I went to a different dentist to get a 2nd opinion because this didnt seem right to me. SO PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE TRIP AND FIND A DIFFERENT DENTAL OFFICE.

Needless to say, cliff notes version. I scheduled with a specific doctor but was assisted with the other doctor. The jokes they thought were jokes were insensitive, they didn't take my fear seriously, the receptionists were rude. They don't discuss anything with you as far as recovery I did a lot of research just to find out what expectations I should see after my post extraction surgery. Over heard a conversation while getting surgery and brought it up on my one week post op and was looked at like I was the crazy one, at my 6 week post op never even saw a Dr. the dental assistant that I don't care for took the x-ray and just gave very vague reassurance, no one looked inside my actual mouth to review the recovery or even touch base on the incompleted procedure that was discussed over me during surgery. They don't disclose that there is a credit card fee that is $6 btw. It was just a mess. Not to mention the dentist that did my extraction gave me false hope regarding my consultation diagnosis during my consultation knowing that it was impossible. I have my records but honestly so happy I never have to go back again. The energy in the office is terrible, with the exception of two dental assistants one that is new. I knew she was different I felt her energy and the one who assisted with removing some of the stitches that were hanging, her energy was good too. Otherwise I would not recommend at all. The one star is simply for the fact that the surgery went well.

Every once in awhile you come across a dentist and staff that you never want to be without, this is…read morethe one. I'm from a small town, moved to Houston and lived there for 25 years and never really found a dentist I liked. I had some pretty bad experiences with dentists that had high turnover rates and receptionist's that were too busy to get off their phone that I almost gave up. From the first visit with Dr. Dorrah, I knew this place was different. They greet you by name and make you feel like you've known them your entire life and they're affordable. I didn't have dental insurance and needed extensive work because of chronic health issues that affected my teeth/gums. From the first consultation, I was told, we're going to fix your smile and get you out of pain. I never felt rushed or judged for the condition of my teeth, only compassion. I can't describe how good that felt, especially if you've been living in pain with dental issues for so long. I was also moving out of state in a matter of months, and Dr. Dorrah's office was incredibly flexible and went out of their way to help me complete everything quickly before the move. They even have a dental membership plan that offset costs substantially, which was so helpful without insurance. Other dentists in the area only gave me one expensive plan. Dr. Dorroh listened to my needs, got me out of pain immediately and gave me several different cosmetic options that I could choose from and were tailored to what we could afford and need at the moment. He is gentle and I never had to raise my hand once because of pain in all my time seeing him. I'm now able to smile with confidence again, and live without teeth pain. Grateful is an understatement. I wish I would have went to him years ago. Their office is so charming/relaxing, appearing to be one of the older homes in the quaint and historic downtown Tomball area that's been converted into a state of the art dental office with a big parking area out back. It's clean and easy to find, but it's the staff that sets this place apart the most. You can tell Dr. Dorroh has put in a lot of work in making this place so beneficial to his patients. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now and chatting with the doctor, Vickie, Mary Beth and everyone else. It seems everybody has been with him for years and really love and care about what they're doing...and it shows in every facet of your treatment. If you're searching for a dentist in Spring, Tomball, the Woodlands, Magnolia, NW Houston, etc, this is the one. Honestly, it's worth the drive no matter where you are in the greater Houston area. I live in Alaska now, but will continue to schedule appointments when I come home to visit.
