On the day of surgery, my anxiety was extremely high, but Dr. Dauterive and his team did an amazing job helping me stay calm. He has a very relaxed and reassuring demeanor, which really made a difference. My recovery went better than expected. My swelling had already gone down by day two, and I only needed to take one painkiller on the first day. Overall, the healing process was smooth, and I was able to eat soft foods by the end of the first week. At 10:30am I felt a pin prick; next thing I remember is my brother-in-law helping me out of the car at home. Dr. Cooper provided written instructions and prescriptions in advance. I did not experience any pain. The extraction sites are healing normally. I am following instructions for post op care and taking medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Cooper and his friendly staff. My primary care dentist had referred someone else, but I trust Dr. Cooper after the first experience. He is a nice man, compassionate, kind and most importantly a skilled Oral Surgeon.
