So after paying for three different dentists to do xrays and tell me they wouldn't do what I wanted in January, by the time I made another appointment to try again I definitely went in with a sour attitude, assuming I was just paying money for an empty consultation AGAIN. But that was absolutely not the case, they did what I wanted and better. I feel confident with my smile today and had the best visit I've ever had at a dentists office. Not just a good visit, but they managed to make my dentist visit actually enjoyable. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to anyone. My first check-up consisted of 4 parts: First, a sit down consultation, with a staff member, asking what I wanted to do with my teeth. Second, I was escorted to a dentist chair for not only x-rays, but high definition pictures of my mouth. X-rays and photos where taken from all angles. (photos are used to evaluate tooth and gum health) Everything is explained to me, so I can understand what is going on. Third, I go over to the dental hygienist's chair for my cleaning. Lastly, I spoke with the dentist as we looked at the photos and x-rays. We talked about the concerns and questions I brought up in the consultation. Talked about what I wanted to do with my teeth and the most urgent problem areas that I needed worked on first. I have already recommended him to friends. Then, not even a week later, I had to go back because my dog decided to turn my brux guard into a chew toy. I guess I should just be glad she didn't choke... but ugh, I paid 600 bucks for that thing (at my last dentist) since my insurance company wouldn't cover it. I explained my need to come in to Karen, the receptionist. Not only did she fit me in THAT day, but she also called my insurance company & found a bite plate they *would* partially cover. So, instead of paying another $500 out of pocket for a new plate, the new one cost me $167 because it's made from a different material. I'm so glad she looked into that for me.
