The inside is clean and bright with bakery cases full of so many yummy choices, it's hard to choose! We've tried a lot of different flavors and each one has been amazing! The custard filled donut is light and fluffy with an insane amount of filling. The cherry thingaling was delicious, you could really taste the cherries in the glaze and they had whole fresh cherries in it as well and the donut was phenomenal; it was a light and airy fritter style donut. Added bonus is that it's a friendly family owned small business, which we love to support!

This O.G. donut shop has been making classics since the 80's. No frou-frou flavors on this rack…read more Cake donuts are on the left and yeast on the right. The baker-owner recommends the buttermilk. He said "it's like crack, you'll be back." I'm more of a yeast guy, but that buttermilk is real nice. The icing makes a slightly crunchy outer shell that seals in the soft cake inside. The glazed yeast is a pillowy golden delight. With every bite my stomach kept making room for the next. Cooked to perfection, you can tell this donut legend has mastered his craft. The shop has a vintage bar where you can sit down for a dunker, fresh hot coffee, and small talk with the old-timers. Don't bother ordering a frappe or anything than rhymes with "appuccino." They offered a Colombian and Highlander roast. I prefer mine fresh, hot, and black. Stick around long enough and you'll get to enjoy the friendly banter between the owner and his regulars. Everyone who came through tipped generously. You can tell they appreciate their local staple. Like every small business, the owner is working through some staffing challenges so call ahead and make sure they're open during the listed hours. You won't be disappointed. Located in the heart of Fairfax (a neighborhood of Cincinnati Ohio) on the corner of Wooster Pike &…read moreWatterson Road is this tiny bakery. They predominantly make fresh made from scratch donuts & pastries but you can also find there pretzels, bread loaves, cookies, muffins & other bakery treats. It might be hit or miss on some items but you definitely will be able to get donuts. They also have a small selection of drinks (coffee / milk / juice) to accompany your treats. Hours are open daily seven days a week opening early at 6:30 am and staying open until early afternoon until around 2pm. You will not find anything else but your typical bakery goodies so don't expect to get a sandwich to go. While the establishment is primarily for take out, there is one or two outside tables available. As far as the quality of product - these are by far some of the best donuts & pastries I have ever had. The selection is wide to accommodate both the adult crowd as well as the kids who like cute toppings like Oreos, M & M, icing decoration & the works on their sweet treats. Your basic donut runs you $1.25 and cream filled cost a little extra at $1.65. The staff is family owned & they are very pleasant, accommodating people driving hard to please. They accept both cash & credit cards. Do not be surprised to see a line out the door on weekend mornings.... But the wait is well worth it. To find a negative here is hard to do. My only observation so far is the pricing of some items that seem a little excessive. They are donut makers first & the pricing might get lost in the works. Regardless, this is another gem to the Queen City.
