My car was making some of the telltale squeaking sounds of brakes in need of repair. With a few long drives ahead of me, I basically gave them the go-ahead to fix. They found it was a rare but simple issue- a plastic plate behind the brakes had pressed forward and was rubbing- hence the sound. Their normal rates are fair, but they charged me NOTHING, even though I would have been none the wiser if they flipped the brakes out anyway. I absolutely can't recommend them enough!!

That guy you trust to tell it like it is and not overcharge you. We got older and cars got more complicated, and half of us probably run our leased cars back to the dealer and pay what they tell us. Well it's still nice to "have a guy". Mike's that guy. Car's making a noise? Take it to Mike. You can trust him to tell it like it is and not overcharge you. He doesn't have a web site, doesn't take credit cards. Answers his own phone. But he'll fix your car and not rip you off. My wife's car was due for both tires and brakes. He did the brakes for less than half the price the dealership quoted me, but also told me that he doesn't do tires (and gave recommendations where to get them done). He's not in the business of ringing up a big bill on you, he's in the business of fixing your car.

The Knowledge and service we receive goes above and beyond expectations. Recently my wife washed our key fob through the laundry destroying the circuit board in the fob making the minivan go crazy beeping, not starting, doors opening, etc. They ordered and reprogrammed the key for our van. We had a flat tire on our car and instead of ordering all new tires they actually repaired the damaged tire at a fraction of the cost. I had a complete overhaul of my 2009 Toyota Venza done by them two years ago because it was stalling out and bad things were starting to happen. I was kind of nervous to have all that work done because the car is up there in miles at 150k+. The Venza has run like a top ever since and I think about all the money they saved me as a result. The car still runs great and I've had to just do basic maintenance ever since. I don't usually write many reviews but these guys definitely deserve it. Overall if you take your car, truck or van there, you'll thank me. They didn't even pull it into the garage and charged me $74 to tell me I needed a new Starter Motor. Which was already known. So here's the full story-- Called early morning Wednesday (7:09am), The mechanic that answered looked at the schedule and said he could take a look and to bring it in. It was towed and dropped off at 7:50am. They couldn't get to it (I'm a single mom so had to rent a car to pick up my son from school) They called me the following day Thursday at 12:40pm, telling me they didn't pull it into the garage or run a full diagnostic as I requested, but instead they tried starting it up and that the Starter Motor needs to be replaced. (We figured that much) -- Noticing I will need an oil change soon they added that in, for a total of $880.00 for the repair. I asked for the price without the oil change and she said $728. NEARLY $160 for an oil change is absurd. When I asked about the diagnostic and why I was being charged for a diagnostic when they didnt even give me any information we didnt already know, and they didnt run a full diagnostic, I was faced with an attitude and told "we could have charged you $140 for an hour of diagnostics, but we only charged you for a half-hour". I'm sorry does pushing the start button on a vehicle take 30 minutes? As someone that lives a block away and this is the most convenient place, I STILL wouldn't go back. Even the guys at O'Reilys said they were total rip offs.
