Normally I would have difficulty finding ways to distinguish one cleaners from another, but…read moreLakemoor Cleaners really made it easy for me. I needed to get a bunch of shirts and pants pressed and figured I would go to the closest place to me, and, living in Volo, this was it. I am glad I decided to go here. Above all, the employee that helped me was what made it great! Helpful and friendly made for the perfect combination. She noticed i was not in the system and asked if I had recently moved to the area. when I said I had, she welcomed me to the area and commented on what a nice area it is. She was also very accurate in making sure she knew what I needed with each article of clothing. When my wife picked up the clothes, she also said how nice they were. Now, I realize many people will say, who cares, how were the clothes? I can happily report that they all came out great. I asked for lightly starched, and they were. Creases were all correct. Fold were correct. My shirts actually looked newer than when I dropped them off! As far as prices, I had 3 pants pressed and 10 shirts pressed for a total of $31.00, which as far as I can remember seems about average. This is definitely my new permanent cleaners and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

The new owners are very pleasant but the quality isn't there. In the not so distant past I had to almost specify if I needed any shirt to be dry cleaned,…read moreotherwise it was understood it was just standard laundry. Lately at Liberty Cleaners on Washington and Old Walnut Cir they seem to randomly pick shirts for dry cleaning from your load. Say if I handed in 12 shirts for laundry they would pick maybe 4 or 5 for "dry cleaning". That's because they can charge $5.50 instead of $3.00. They have done this to me at least 4 or so times earlier because I forget to bring this up when I go to turn in my shirts. Just dropped off the load and took the ticket. I went there this afternoon to turn in a few casual printed cotton shirts for laundry and she started picking the ones for dry cleaning. When I stopped her she tried to tell me that they would need to hand press the shirts. Then she said if I wasn't worried about quality they would do regular laundry. I just brought the shirts back. I find this practice unethical. Seems like they started this racket after the pandemic. I will never go to Liberty Cleaners anymore.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The…read morewomen working here showed complete disregard for customer service. I dropped off two dresses here and told the woman there was no rush for pickup. She told me they would be ready by Thursday. I showed up Thursday; the woman heard me walk in but didn't say a word and left me waiting at the front desk, since there is no bell or anything to indicate a customer has arrived. When she finally walks up to the front desk, she looks for my dresses and then tells me I need to come back tomorrow (Friday) because she forgot to finish the job and the dress was still wrinkly. On Friday, I show up, and the woman again leaves me standing there at the front desk. I am the only one in the business. I say "hello" a few times, but the woman doesn't even give the courtesy of saying, "I'll be with you in a minute," or to "F**k off." I look back, and she's just sitting down on her phone. Only when I say hello, annoyed, does she finally stand up and give me my items. When I get home and check the dresses, they are still wrinkled... I'm telling you, do not walk, RUN away from this place.
