My skirt was not hemmed to the agreed upon length and was crooked. They just folded about 2.5 inches of fabric under the skirt, old hem and all, and rehemmed it that way. The skirt hem was bumpy and distorted due to the skirt bottom being wider than the part it was hemmed to. With the old hem in place it not impaired walking as the old hem pulled across my knees as there never should have been a hem there. They refused to issue a refund and insisted it was fine. They told me to give it to them and they'd remove their hem. I refused as it was clear they couldn't adequately hem it correctly in the first place. I was afraid the skirt would be damaged by their removal of the skirt. The woman there then implied that because I refused to let them take out their hem that I was trying to get something for free.

Terrible! had to start with that as I think about my experience. I brought my ruggable (washable…read morerug) in for a better wash as I normally wash and dry them at home. I used the large capacity machine and when it stopped the carpet was still soaked, this rug is lightweight and easily fits in a normal machine... thankfully the young person there helped and restarted it to spin to get the water out. The nightmare did not end there; I put in two quarters for the dryer which is less then 15min. and the heat setting must be so HIGH that at medium it burned my rug, literally burned one whole side!! No accountability from anyone, no call, nothing! all that was said is they are not accountable for what I wash or dry.. ugghh .. DO NOT GO HERE.. JUST TERRIBLE

I was a first time customer today. I walked in, the lady did say hello; hesitantly. I asked her if she could sew on a very uniquely made patch onto a very lovely jacket. She abruptly says, WHERE? I thinking ok, relax and remove the hesitation from your voice. As I proceeded to explain where the patch would go she days, no, too many turns. She picks the jacket up again looking at it with a sour face. I said of you don't want to do it, just tell me. She hands it back and says nooo with this, passive aggressive response/behavior. I politely said, thank you and left. Finding people to actually wanna do the job they've specialized in is almost impossible. Needless to say, I found a very nice woman who'll have the jacket complete no later than next Wednesday. It's costly. But very worth it.
