Had to designate seat. Arrived to find entire seat encased in garbage bags! Yuk! Must warn or at least give a discount.

This theater is beautiful, and I like the concept of having the frozen yogurt and all the extra treats they offer at the concession stand, but at the end of the day, the tickets are way too expensive, and the last two times I met friends there, I ended up putting tissue in my ears because I was getting a headache it was so loud. Why do they make it that loud? I can sort of understand for an action movie, but a rom com?!?!? It got kind of ridiculous when I then went to the bathroom with my friend after the show and she was making fun of me for the tissue in my ears... then she washed her hands and started the blow dryer thing and it was so incredibly loud in that all-tile bathroom that she ended up running out of the bathroom with wet hands. I laughed so hard. It is a really clean theater, and definitely more upscale than Cinemark in Springfield, but I'm not sure it's worth it. read more

The movie theatre is large, nice, and clean. I am so grateful for the self serve kiosks to buy your tickets instead of waiting in the LONG lines! The wait time at the concession stands is painfully long, especially on the weekends. The volume of previews is insane, please, turn it down. The chairs are comfortable and I am grateful for the leg room and room for others to walk in front of you so you don't have to stand to let people passed you. read more

Well, I'm happy with the theater! They are clean, people are friendly but as people have said in recent reviews, the lines are LONG! That's why I go online and buy the tickets there or in the little kiosks! The food is WAY overpriced 5 bucks for a large drink!!! So I just don't eat there. The only reason I go to Regal is because I got gift cards there and you can't go to the theater in Springfield with them. The movies are a tad loud but it depends on the movie. read more

Just went with friends to see Dunkirk at the IMAX theater. The sound was so LOUD that it was painful. Clearly they need to adjust the sound level or they are going to drive off patrons that would like to see (and hear) the movie without their hands over their ears. read more

This is the theater I go To in Eugene. I will admit, I never go to movies on opening day, but then again I never have much of a wait. The reason I choose this theater, is that the popcorn doesn't make my stomach sick. A minor difference for some, but popcorn is what makes the experience for me. read more

Not a good iMax theater. It is barely larger than the regular theater screen and the audio is more high volume than immersive sound. The glasses they give are worse than the regular 3D ones they usually hand out. Probably barely qualifies as an iMax. Is it better than regular 3D? Yes. Is it worth the extra 6 bucks or whatever it costs? Nope. read more

It's my hometown theater. Can't say I've had a bad experience at Valley River Regal. No reason to give it more stars, no reason to give it fewer. But for God's sake, when are they going to change up that intro with the regal roller coaster thing? We are nearly in 2013, not 1999. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst theater ever! 2nd time we have waited more than 40 minutes for concessions. This time no one with us to hold seats and there were none by the time we go into the theater. These guys are worse than going through TSA! Last time I will ever come here for a movie! Ruined one of the few date nights I get. read more

Solid experience. Good place to catch a movie, better then Springfield's, in my personal experience.

Very clean theatre with comfy seats. I would give it a 4 star if the prices were a little better and a 5 star if they would show a few more artistic films like the Bijou shows. read more

My favorite theatre so far in Oregon. The IMAX is mind blowing, however some of the auditions are like so far from the screen and you cant see but overall it is fantastic. Ps: I dont like the popcorn here tho not fresh at all read more

I love this theater. I always use the kiosk to get my ticket, which is very easy and convenient. Comfortable stadium seating and clean theaters are always appealing factors for me. I usually do not use the concession stand so I cannot comment on that. Some movies I attended had only a few audiences. I hope they can make enough money so that they will keep operating. read more

Bring ear plugs. Just watched a movie here. The volume was turned up so loud, I walked out during the previews and asked to have it turned down. It wasn't. After the movie I spoke with a manager who told me that there was a minimum volume that the movies had to be kept at. If the minimum volume is legally deafening, you may want to reconsider your volume. I'll be going a different theatre once my ears stop ringing. read more

My first impression was that the theater looked nicer than others around. However, the set up when you walk in is very awkward. The person who takes your ticket is clear out near the concessions line. It is nice that they have fresh popcorn, but everything else is subpar. read more

Terrible setup for the star wars premiere. They had everyone crammed into the same line for all showings, forced people out in the rain and cold even when there was an orderly line in the hall space, and they seated later showings prior to the first showing. 0 customer service staffed at the front desk, and when management came out they were unfriendly. These tickets were sold a month in advance, really should have their act together. Suggest Springfield for any big openings unless you get preset seats read more

My experience had to do with cost and staffing. I chose to pony up more $ to see Gravity recently because the showtime matched up with our sitter arrangements. My wife and I usually see great films at Cinemark because of its lower prices and better email concessions coupons. Although the Regal environment sure looks pretty, it does not justify visiting on a regular basis for families on a budget. At Cinemark, there are plenty of staff, especially at the concessions - things move quickly! At Regal, I paid too much for the matinee, saw it in a comparable theater to Cinemark's and waited too long for concessions. The counter girl was nice but slooow and she manned the counter all alone. My texted coupons stopped coming (until I got a renewal notice AFTER my movie) so I opted for the large popcorn with a free refill, but when I tried to get a refill, there was a line ahead of me with the same single girl serving everyone. Where is all the staff and managers? So I had to chuck my popcorn tub and get home to my kids without even a refill. At the ticket window, I got asked again if I had a Regal card and when I asked what they were good for I got the same answer as a previous time: "You get points." Not very clear or compelling. So, too much paid for tickets and food & inadequate service. Shiny hallways though! I brought a big group of friends and family to Regal to see the Hobbit premiere at a midnight show last year. What a crowded mess. Why did I insist that the Regal experience would be better than the Cinemark? This December's Hobbit sequel will probably see us all at...the other place in town, sadly. I just can't justify stellar pricing for mundane service. read more

Generic corporate theater experience. Buying ticks in advance to be scanned off your smart phone makes it smoother, as does skipping the slow moving and high priced concession lines. Yeah, they have beer, but if your picky the selection is not good. Finally, the volume! The previews are always played too loudly. It can hurt your ears and I suggest bringing plugs. Especially the IMAX is ear drum blowing. The IMAX is pleasant with the slightly larger screen and bowl seating, but the high volume trumps any niceties, and is not worth the price. I've tried a few 3D movies there and those don't make it worthwhile either. The glasses for Star Wars were low quality, used, smeared, etc. I go to the Regal only when I really want to see a movie not playing at either of the Bijou Theaters or when I just can't wait for streaming at home. I will not go to the IMAX again due to the sound. Obviously many others have complained about that so they do not seem inclined to be responsive and change. read more
