Autzen Stadium permits fans onto the field for 30 minutes post game.

Can't believe I made it to an Oregon football game here in Eugene, OR. Hitting the done button and purchasing my ticket for just $15 on TickPick, it was a surreal experience knowing I'd get to watch a game at one of the most reputable college football schools in the country. Although it was the first game of the season and the Ducks were playing an inferior opponent and favored by 43 points against the University of Idaho, just to be in the stands witnessing the game live was good enough for me. I'm surprised Autzen Stadium only holds 54,000 seats. That's pretty small for a major college football program. For instance, Michigan's stadium holds over 100,000 fans. But still, Oregon and Autzen Stadium is well known for being one of the most loud and energetic stadiums in the country. According to what I read, Autzen Stadium is designed like an amphitheater, and it's this type of arena setting that really encloses the crowd noise and makes it difficult on opponents to communicate and gives the home Ducks a big advantage. I would say for this game against Idaho, although almost every seat was occupied, I was anticipating some intense energy at least at the beginning of the game, (before the anticipated blowout, lol). In actuality, Oregon fans may not like me for saying this...but I wanted more. I wanted rowdier. I wanted to feel chills from insane crowd cheers. Instead, I felt a little underwhelmed. That could have been because their opponent, Idaho, is a small school that no one respects. Maybe if the opponent were a familiar foe or rival, things could have been different. Like I said at the beginning, regardless of how the game played out, I was on Cloud 9 just to be watching an Oregon game in real time. Extra details... - For parking, I paid $8 on Ticketmaster (without any extra fees) to take a shuttle bus over to Autzen Stadium from the VRC - Valley River Center Mall. Yellow school buses departed from the backside section of the mall. Autzen Stadium is 2.5 miles away and the ride takes 10 - 15 minutes. They drop you off right in front of the entrance gates. - My seat was in Section 16 on the home side of Autzen Stadium. This was parallel to sitting in one of the end zones. But here's the thing...for a 4pm game on the last day of August, the sun was brutal, and it was staring me straight in the eyes. Plus with it being 95 degrees outside, I decided to sit somewhere else. I noticed there were a few open spots with good vantage points from the last rows in Section 36 which was on the opposite side from the sun. I walked around to Section 36 which was a 10x better viewing spot with the sun at my back. Plus, from the last couple of rows, the looks down onto the field were fantastic. I suggest Section 36. - Unless you purchased a premium ticket, most of Autzen Stadium is sitting on benches, not actual individual seats, but that's typical of college athletics. - Here was the best part to attending the game...when it ended, the play by play stadium host announced over the loudspeaker that fans were allowed onto the field! What??? Yes!!! Anyone and everyone could walk onto the actual playing field! This was a dream come true for me! Did I take a photo touching the legendary O in the middle of the field??? Of course I did! What a way to end a wonderful college football game day experience. - Btw, although Oregon was a 43 point favorite against Idaho, yet it was actually competitive with the final score being 24 - 14 win for the Ducks. It was not a blowout and fans stuck around till the final plays. - One poor aspect was...since I decided to hang out on the field afterwards, when I returned to the shuttle bus line to go back to the mall, I must have waited 75 minutes to finally board an unoccupied bus. Wish they could have done better about the insane line. Overall, I am so thankful for the opportunity to be at an Oregon football game. It was my first time in Eugene. And it was Oregon's first game as a member of the Big 10. Thank you for having me and Go Ducks.

It never rains in Autzen... I was here for a very special persons graduation commencement. Hudson Stadium showcases the Oregon ducks football team on the grand scale, but the season is over that used for things such as this. They had the commencement start at 9 AM. The only place to get anything was the general food stands that you would imagine at any sporting events with coffee, soda, hotdog pretzels, etc. Parking coming in, was very easy for the event. It was a well put on commencement. On the way out if you were looking to drive away quickly, there really wasn't an opportunity for that but shuttles were provided to get parents and students to their next graduation spot if need be. We opted to walk over the bridge and come back later for the car. All in all well in event and beautiful stadium as always. SCO Ducks! Congratulations Ally, you have a great future ahead.

I love visiting Eugene and Autzen! Never a bad trip, made all the better with a win over a ranked opponent. Till my next visit... Go Ducks!

It is impressive to see how far our tuition payments go. Beautiful stadium and very well kept. Parking is not convenient.

Absolutely incredible spot to watch a football game--a must if you have a college football stadium bucket list (even if you're not a Ducks fan). The Ducks have some fun in-stadium traditions like the Coming Home lights show (1st quarter break) and Shout (3rd quarter break) that are great for everyone, even kids. Pro tip: download your tickets and the Go Ducks app before getting to the stadium. The in-stadium cell service is BRUTAL.

Our First Duck's Game. Our First Civil War Game. Luckily, were both Duck's Fans. Our friend that bought our tickets is a Beavers fan. Ick. Not really but, ick. We left late as is our friends M.O. for life, but we managed to find a spot nearby the stadium for $50.00 in a members spot that didn't show up. Their loss, our expensive score. We all made it to our seats in plenty of time before Kickoff. I was, I thought. Dressed for the weather. Oh how I was wrong. It was colder than I imagined. I kept moving and stood the whole time which helped, cuz "Boy Howdy." "It Was Cold." Of course the food and drinks were super expensive but not more than any other venue. We bought two 16oz. Waters for $10.00. It was that or drink from the sink. No. The game was awesome because The Duck's Won. It was a quiet ride home but that was o.k because our team won. lol. We can't wait to see another game here.

Amazing environment, good energy, and great sports culture. I definitely think that everyone should enjoy a game here.

Great views from the student section!

Oh Autzen. Man oh man do I have some fond memories here. As much as I love supporting my ducks the stadium itself is not my fav. I mean, it's a college sports stadium, it's going to be pretty much what you would expect: over priced hotdogs and beer. But that's not why I gave them 3 stars. First of all, each concession stand is a little different. And since the stadium is so big it can be kind of a toss up making the decision to walk all of the way around for the food you're craving when "shout" can come on any second. If you're sitting near the student section, get your adult beverages before the game starts because they are no where to be found on that side! The next star I knocked off is because the rules can be all over the place. I'm all for clear bags to keep everyone safe but when I'm searching for my pants with the biggest pockets before the game and I walk in and see a frat boy with a backpack with a whole 30 rack in it I get a little annoyed. That being said even though it's a little annoying or inconvenient it's what I expect when I go to most sporting events at Autzen or not. In fact, I don't know if I would even bother writing this review if my tuition dollars paying for the stadium weren't so high:)

"It never rains in Autzen Stadium" or so goes the famous saying. Well, leave it to me to watch a game during a 3-hour downpour. Even before we reached halftime, water was running down my legs and into my shoes. But, it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the game. I was envious of the better prepared fans, who looked like a motley collection of Gorton's fishermen. Even the cheerleaders were wearing pants. You know things are bad when the cheerleaders cover up! What an amazing venue: **Great announcer **Good food - boy do I miss my 20-year old metabolism! **Devoted fans - enthusiastic, but respectful towards those of us cheering the visiting team. **Fun mascot - Goofy antics including arriving to the game on the back of a Harley, doing pushups after every score and taking a chainsaw to a Stanford 'tree' (hey buddy, what did that ficus ever do to you?!?) **And boy was it loud! It was the 60th consecutive sell out so I felt lucky to get tickets and experience a little college football insanity Oregon style.

I'm a Bruin. UCLA blue and gold all the way. When my son chose Oregon for his undergraduate studies, though, I could not be prouder. When it comes to football, loyalties are challenged. After attending maybe 30 games at the Rose Bowl with me, he is no longer a Bruin fan. That little bastard has the audacity to jump ship and sleep with the enemy? OK, dad. Back off the legal weed pipe (hey, when in Eugene...) Parents weekend is here and the remaining family flew to the Northwest to visit and take in a game, along with filling his belly with non-cafeteria food and stocking his pantry with snacks from Safeway. Autzen Stadium is beyond cool. It is big and grand, although it only seats 56,000. Coming from the Rose Bowl, where it seats 98,000 and seems strangely empty when we have "only" 56,000 fans show up. Good food selection, decent bathroom capacity, excellent video board, good sight lines, and next to campus (seems obvious but you may not be able to walk from Westwood to Pasadena). It's kind of a hassle to walk from OU to the stadium, but I was doing this while drunk, in the rain and at night. Typically, it's a gorgeous walk over the Willamette River on a gorgeous fall day. I am really jealous of a place like like this. I am now a loyal Duck fan, except when playing my Bruins.

There are stadiums... and then there are places that feel like they've been stitched into the soul…read moreof a sport. Hayward Field is the latter. I've always had a soft spot for this place. Maybe it's the ghosts of greatness knowing that Steve Prefontaine once tore across this very track with that fearless, front-running style. Maybe it's my love for everything University of Oregon the culture, the pride, the legacy. Or maybe it's just the way this place sits in Eugene like it belongs there, like it's earned its keep. But this visit hit different. We'd been out the night before one of those reckless, laugh-too-hard, probably-made-a-few-bad-decisions kind of nights. I woke up feeling like absolute trash. The kind of morning where your body is negotiating terms just to sit upright. But instead of folding, I dragged myself out to Hayward Field. And I ran. Not pretty. Not fast. Just honest. A few laps turned into more. Sweat started pouring, lungs opened up, and somewhere between the pain and the rhythm, something shifted. It was like the bad decisions from the night before were getting wrung out of me, step by step. A full-on purge. I'll be real there was a moment I thought I might throw up right there on sacred ground. But then the endorphins hit. And just like that I was back. Energy. Clarity. Fire. I went from wanting to crawl back into bed to feeling like I could take on the whole day. "Let's go fly," I said. "Let's go do something." That's what this place does it resets you. It brought me back to the last time I was here for the Eugene Marathon. That race... man. Grinding up hills, coasting through valleys, pushing through every doubt you've got and then finally coming back into Hayward Field. You hear your name, see your time, get that medal placed around your neck... it's more than a finish line. It's a moment you carry with you. This place is known as TrackTown, USA for a reason. It's hosted Olympic Trials, world-class competitions, and some of the best athletes to ever lace up a pair of running shoes. But beyond all the accolades, records, and history... it's personal. Because yeah I love the wild nights, the stories, the chaos. But places like this remind you of something just as important: take care of yourself. Move your body. Earn your breath. Even if you made a few bad calls the night before. So if you're in Eugene don't just drive by. Walk it. Run it. Feel it. You might show up feeling broken... and leave feeling like the king of the world.

My issue was with the amenities for us bleacher fans. The sound system is horrible. I could not hear anything, as the speakers have not been updated. The concessions are a joke. Of course the beer choices were there, but the line for food was ridiculously long. You can not see any of the scoreboard from these seats. Close the gaps in the seat area as we dropped items twice and were told we couldn't retrieve them until the Manager did it. C'mon!! And there is no water refill station in the bleacher area. Why? It's hot, we need to drink water. It is time to also enlarge the stadium. I heard this often by other people in the seats. Record crowds were prevalent the entire four days, yet when I was home later in the evening, I saw LSU play in an updated stadium that was huge. OSU has had considerable success for many years, and it is time for the university to step up and do something to allow more people to watch the games within a more updated scenario.
