Came here in December. Remodel looks nice, but the tickets are just as/if not more expensive than other theaters. Seats are not comfortable: they're tiny and don't recline at all. I was highly considering doing the Regal membership before going to last nights showing of "IT" at 10:30pm. It was so hot, like hot hot. Like they are trying to cut costs but turning the air off earlier than they should or who knows maybe they have it that hot all the time. You know, when your grandma keeps her air condition off, it was that kinda hot. The movie was 3 HOUR... I complained, nicely, 3 times hoping they would kick the temperature up. Nope they didn't. I also wasn't the only one who thought it was hot. I wasn't even scared of the movie "IT." I had nightmares of being locked in a Regal membership just sweat the whole movie. read more

My family was excited to check out this theater after it reopened, but sadly had quite an unpleasant experience. We had gotten there around 4 PM for a 5 PM movie. My mom went to ask the woman checking tickets what time we would be able to go in for our movie and the woman responded by forcefully grabbing the ticket out of her hand while saying "I cannot tell you until I see your ticket." To make matters worse, we ordered food around ten minutes afterwards and didn't receive the food until a bit past 5 PM. When we had asked how much longer it would take, they said "A minute or so since they just put them in." I was confused as to why they started making our food over a half hour from the time we placed our order. At least this woman was nicer than the one we encountered earlier and apologized profusely for the wait. She also gave me a free icee refill for the hassle. Overall, you are better off spending your money elsewhere. The customer service is hit or miss and the seats aren't comfortable either. read more

Pretty sure this one has been condemned since Hurricane Irma. Shame. I've had great menories here. Miller's Ale House is in the same plaza and none of the staff seemed to notice I was tanked when showtime came. Spent many years thinking most of my favorite movies were mediocre because I slept through half of them. Upon DVD release, I thoroughly enjoyed the second Avenger's movie. My bad MCU. Concessions are ridiculously pricy but hoodies and purses have long term value. Seriously, you can grab a hoodie for like, $10 across the street and smuggle in as much candy as you want as opposed to $7 for some chocolate and popcorn. And the purse is reusable! Quality isn't the best, but if you catch a matinee, chances are you'll be one of 10 people in attendance. Really adds to the experience. Sorry, I said you'll. I meant you'd. As some of you may know, I'm not a big fan of the Movie theaters. I'm the kind of person that wants to press pause on the remote and have get up and walk around once in a while. unless I'm totally into a movie. So I came to watch movies here the seats were OK temps a little cool for Floridians. Bring a light coat. Prices are high for everything drinks, snacks, including daytime tickets. Its better to get a meal at Ale house first then loosen the belt and pants for.... A little comfort. I'm often tempted to catch a snooze because its cool and dark and I have a belly full of booze and or food. So that might be the reason I not at a Regal Hollywood 20 very often. We were told after to join the club so we earn free tickets- fyi for later! :) We bought our tickets early, thinking it would be busy on New Year's Eve, but it wasn't the case, and only half the theater was filled. The snacks are expensive, but that is normal for a theater. The seats are comfortable, and you could probably see well from any spot in the theater. I guess from the name, there are 20 theaters in there? I don't know, I didn't count.... The bathrooms are ok. Reminded me of elementary school restrooms. read more

A newly renovated Theater with the most uncomfortable chairs yet. My shoulders ached after 20 minutes. No leg rest, leans back but awkwardly. Went to see DUNE which was great. The previews were audio only, I had to go to the front to get someone to turn on the video. The room was virtually empty but they had the volume up as though the room was full. Put in my earphones to try to subdue the roar. It cost more that $4 fee just to book online so our "senior" tickets were more than $20 each. It's a shame they did such a poor job of the reno and the staff on hand don't have adequate understanding of what it takes for a good experience. The manager has been there as long as I can remember and is always very friendly & has always taken care of any problem that we've had. We always go during the day on the weekends when it is not very busy and the prices are just a little bit better. The staff has always been cheerful and greet you warmly. The theater' s have always been clean and trash free. The concessions are getting more upscale and offer more than just the popcorn and candy usual choices. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER movie theatre in Naples. This place stinks the moment you walk in. I can't even explain to you the smell if I tried. I had not gone into this place in a few years, someone told me they did some updating so I went..not much has changed & guess what? It still stinks, I had to walk out. Their prices aren't any better than any other theater and they still haven't updated the majority of it. They have a separate section for "adults only" give me a break. We went Yesterday (Memorial Day) and First indication of Trouble is, We walk in and No Direction as where to Go??? No One to Check Your Tickets and We could have just Walked into any Theater and No One would have Known! We went to See Top Gun and the Movie was Good, But not only could YOU hear the "Rumbling" Sound's from the Adjoining Theatre's, the Theater We were in was Definitely not an "IMAX" Experience as the Sound as not an "IMAX" Experience!!! We found Our Seats, as to give Time for the lines to Go Down at the Concessions, which took awhile and Still "Waiting" in line for a Large Popcorn and a Large Drink and All for $17! Then, I went to get Straws and Napkins! Got the Straws and Both Napkin Dispenser's we're "Empty"!!! The Manager came Out from the Concession's and I asked Him for some Napkins, which He told His Employee, who was an "Out to lunch", Senior Citizen, who was Suppose to Check Us in Upon Arrival and was No where to Be Found!!! She goes in the Back of the Concession's and Cones back with a Paper Towel, that YOU Get in the Rest Room and It was "Ripped" in Half! I said, "Were's the Napkins"? She "Ramble's" on about something and I said, "that's Ok, I'll just use My Shirt"!!! Theater looks great since remodeled. But thats it. one person at ticket counter , who was moving in reverse it seems. Line for concessions is 20-30 minutes easily. Only Two ppl behind counter. The person handling the tickets isn't even by the entry way to the theaters and talks so fast your left hunting for your theater yourself . The seats are new, but definitely not meant for bigger people or to be comfortable, a school desk is roomier. Had to watch a three hour movie with no food or drink in an uncomfortable seat for $30? Shang Chi stopped 20 minutes in. When I went to tell the people atbb no the desk that I wanted my money back because my 4 year old son would barely make it through the movie if everything went perfect. He said the only person that could give me money back was the manager and he was trying to restart the movie. 20 minutes later the manager comes out and I tell him I want my money back. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience he tells me he needs to see my ticket. I show him my phone, since I got my ticket through fandango, and he says he needs to see the credit card it was charged on. I told him it was Apple Pay and I didn't think it was right that he was making me stand around and wait for twenty minutes and then give me a bunch of hoops to jump through. I finally found the credit card attached to the Apple Pay and showed it to him and he did something to refund me. I told him he was giving the worst customer service I'd ever seen and I'd never be coming back and he said that would be a good idea. I thanked the ticket taker on my way out as you could tell the employees were embarrassed by the situation. There are too many other theaters and the IMAX there isn't even that big. read more

Good concessions, lots of theaters, and a fun atmosphere. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. They recline, but they are the kind that you have to keep pushing back on them, otherwise they spring back upright. My neck was sore at the end of a 2.5 hour movie. Newly rebuilt after Irma hit Naples, this theater is more than comparable to the other Naples theaters. The seats are the winners! they recline and give you plenty of space. The senior ticket was only 11.00, a bargain for Naples. Easy parking, don't have to deal with any crowds like at the Mercado. Happy the Regal finally reopened!! read more

The Manager here needs to learn that on the busiest weekend at the movies you should have more then 2 very slow people working at the concession stand! Watched the manager walking around like she was busy, but not really doing much at all. The lines for the concession stand we're back to the door. Took over 25 minutes to get a drink and popcorn..... Looks nice but very superficial! BF and I are visiting from CA and decided to take in a movie to get out of the heat. We did not take advantage of the IMAX or 4D experience - our movie was in a regular 2D cinema - so I'm not able to speak to those. Pros - lots of parking; screen quality was nice; somewhat helpful staff; the visual appearance of the hallways is an experience; assigned seating Cons - no-one assigned to box office and since our first time here we did not know where to get a ticket. Once we entered someone said we could either get it from the kiosk in the lobby with a credit card or at the concession stand. (For what the theater charges for a movie, they could provide a box-office presence!) Concessions - the popcorn was way too salty - not sure if that was an accident or how they serve it. We also bought a bottle of water and asked for a glass with ice. They gave us the equivalent of a dixie cup and said that was the only complimentary size cup they could provide. Ridiculous! The sound in the theater was way too loud - I left with a headache! The chairs are not full-recliners, they are some sort of attempt at a rocker but only along the same depth an airplane seat has in the difference between take-off and in-flight. The seats were very uncomfortable and tight and have very little padding. There appears to be no love seat but significantly oversized armrests between seats. So if you are hoping to snuggle up with your sweetie, prepare to be disappointed. read more

Truth. I didn't show up for a 3 hour show just to sit in the icey chilled space behind door #3, where to Regal's credit, upholstered seats allow good views over the heads of those in front of you. Regal was wise to be the only theatre in the County to host one of three live broadcasts from London's West End's Victoria Palace Theatre when "Billy Elliott" was on stage in early 2014.. And, for added appeal, the production included cameo performances by 20 year old Billy Elliott himself, along with 28 young men and boys who have played him. It didn't hurt that Elton John, who wrote the score for the musical, gave introductory remarks. What did hurt was Hollywood 20's mis-steps. The sound disappeared for much of the introductory footage, including Elton John's remarks. Two ticket holders had to alert the crew about the difficulties. On return to the theatre, one ticket holder announced (kidding) that from there on, the show would be subtitled. By intermission, which thespians in London call, Interval - I was missing dinner and defaulted to the little bird bath of processed cheese with bagged chips that pass for nachos. A wretched dinner. But the Great idea, is for Regal to hang on to a full paying house by offering other Fathom Events, which globally feature concerts, Opera, and Broadway performances. Next to actually being there, the big screen - even if it's Regal Hollywood 20 - is the way to go. read more

If you get stuck with an assigned seat in the front row you're scr#%%#d. You might as well not see the movie cause you won't be able to see the whole screen even with the seat reclined all the way back. Complained to the manager well before the movie started and he said there's nothing he can do to refund your money. I've sat in the front row at crappy theaters and had a better view. Not very well thought out. Curved screens are nice but if you're right in front on side ends it not. read more

Wanted to see Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas with my 7 year old granddaughter. Checked several sites for show times and they all said there was a 4:15 showing. Perfect time for kids. Drove 45 minutes to the theatre only to be told that show time was a mistake. The only other showings were at 7:45 and 10:15, or there abouts. Who takes their kids to a movie that late?? Was annoyed we had to see "Hero" so as not to disappoint on this special outing. I was very disappointed and felt duped. I saw several other families walking away. read more

And a few mons went by We then wanted to see The Other Woman we got to the movie theater went up to the window was told rather rudely btw that The other woman was sold out and to go somewhere else we had about 5 mins to get up to Mercado then park then hightail it to silver spot and man i guess that person at Hollywood 20 did us a favor man the seats was great the help was helpful when we were getting our tickets I love Hollywood 20 don't get me wrong But sometimes they have an issue and it seems to be they only have it with us (It is just our luck) :( read more

Omg we have never seen sooooo many people at the cinema EVER!!!!!!! We were told when it rains here all the (older) folks go to the movies. We went to see the Big Short figuring it has been out for a piece it should t be that crowded... Wrong! Middle of the afternoon 20 minutes before showtime , huge lines outside. Then u get I side they have the corral ropes out for consessions!! Thought lets go get a seat then I would go back to the line for snacks. Omg we had to sit up front in the kiddie section luckily in the back row.. Consessions took me 20plus minutes and I missed the first part of the show. But I guess I didn't miss much he said. Now finally snacks and a movie. Good shows too. Hey at least the three kids running the counter were efficient and pretty quick!! Oh yeah AARP discount saves $3 for combo popcorn and drink! I was disappointed that the seat does not stay reclined; you have to push back on it and keep it pushed back with your weight, so as a result I sat at a 90° angle, which put a strain on my neck. There was not a button to recline the seat. I do like being able to reserve my seat. read more

I went Friday to see the new Avenger's movie. The 7 PM 2D Imax was sold out so I had to choose the 3 PM Imax 3D. When the movie began it was in 2D (which is what I really wanted anyway) but 10 minutes in the movie stopped and the manage announced that the 2D version was being shown in error and he would restart the movie in 3D. When it finally restarted it was in 3D but NOT Imax. The much smaller screen was obvious. So I sat there in the extremely dark theater being charge the higher Imax 3D price to watch the REGULAR 3D version of the movie. My wife complained for almost the full 3 hours of the movie but I was pretty sure I could not get the movie restarted again without my fellow movie goers attacking me. I ended up overpaying for 3D which I hate and missing out on the much larger Imax format which is what I really wanted! You should probably wait a few weeks before going to this theater so they can actually figure out how to operate it !!!!1 read more

Completely refurbished, this theater is (finally) again open. There are several different 'flavors' of theaters: Some have recliners (8?), some just leather lounge that lean back a bit, then the 4DX theater has the 4DX seating (not very comfortable nor roomy but the 4DX will shake you up and pepper you with a variety of special effects including water, scents and bubbles), some include a tray for your food...lots of food options. I had no trouble with customer service, but keep in mind all these kids and junior managers are new and just learning as they go. Note: don't be afraid to book the 1st 2 rows as they all are good seats. read more

The mothership of teenage worshippers... pricey... plain. This is a decent movie theater (especially if you've visited more "regular" theaters in cities) I mean, it plays a movie, there wasn't anything wrong with it's projection on the screen, and the sound is booming with no problems. That's it. A plus is location-- the theater is surrounded by lots of plazas for eating and specialty shopping. Since this is the biggest theater in Naples, expect giggly teenagers to hug the walls. I visited at 3:30 and couldn't believe that I had to pay $10 for a ticket! I thought matinees would extend a bit longer than that. As for decorations... there really is no theme here. One of the posts here says there's a "theme" on the side walls in the theater... but who looks at that? I'm busy spilling my popcorn. True, themes aren't necessary, but it'd be cool to actually see a Hollywood theme here. Staff looked bored to exist... but were nice. And the one window operator was trying to set a record for most people waiting in line. PYRA SAYS: This is a necessary movie theater so even with all the whining that may go on, if you want to watch a movie in Naples, this is where you have to go. read more

Saw 2 movies when I was in town for vacation. Wishing I had gone to another theater. Star Wars in IMAX was ok. I remember seeing other IMAX movies in my hometown and being amazed at the size and presence of the screen. This one just seemed like a big theater. Not amazed for a $21 matinee. Went back to see Uncut Gems and thought I was getting recliner seats. Make sure you look very closely at the movie details before you buy. Reserved seats are listed on all, but only some theaters have recliners. Again would expect more for a $15 ticket. But the kicker was that our theater was next to the 4D showing of Star Wars and our movie was almost unwatchable as the 4D SFX from next door reverberated through our theater. I left our drama to tell the manager. He said he would try to have them turn down the volume next door. I go to Regal Theaters at home all the time. I won't be going back again in Naples. read more

They charged us $85 for 4 tickets to an IMAX movie that wasn't shot in IMAX. The manager told us that we got the IMAX sound just not the IMAX screen. WTF? Because IMAX is known for their sound, right? The first "manager" said, "We get that complaint a lot, you should call corporate." The general manager denied that it wasn't IMAX because we got IMAX sound. Not to mention that when the movie started you could only see 1/4 if the screen....someone went to complain and then the movie froze for 10 minutes. When it started again I had to go complain because they forgot to turn the lights off. Not to mention that a small popcorn was $7. We paid $35 for two small popcorns, 2 bottles of water, and a medium soda. Skip the sh!t show and stick with Silverspot and Paragon, the quality, the seats, and definitely the service are better. This review is just for the theater itself, not the concessions as I rarely ever get anything from concession stands. After reading some "after Irma" reviews, I was skeptical because I had already bought tickets, but am generally not too picky. The decor and atmosphere of the theater is a big step up from what it once was. There are kiosks inside to purchase tickets, or you can buy them online and go straight to the stand in the center of the lobby. The employee scanning my tickets was extremely friendly and pointed us in the right direction. Once in the theater, it was nicely lit so there wasn't any stumbling around trying to find seats. The seats are a bit firmer compared to other local theaters, but they're not uncomfortable - I wouldn't have any issue sitting in them again. The "recline" mechanism is by force and not a button, but 5'3" me didn't have much of a problem keeping the seat reclined. The sound and picture quality was great and the theater was kept cool enough so even in a crowded room I was still comfortable. The bathrooms were clean as well. They also have an unlimited movie deal for under $25 a month which I will be taking advantage of. read more

Even after the recent update it is still awful. Employees and Managment are extremely unfriendly and non accommodating. The absolute worst popcorn and no reclining seats. Not much of an upgrade they don't have alcohol like all the others. So many better choices is Naples at the same or better price. read more
