Who knew Chuck E Cheese could be clean and have tasty healthy food options.. expecting a less than desirable experience but needing to do something on a rainy day - we were pleasantly surprised. They have a fresh self serve salad bar, the wings are baked, and the pizza and fries are actually decent. They are clearly short staffed but all the workers were friendly, pleasant and courteous. We absolutely love Chuck E Cheese! I have a 4-yr old on the spectrum so I have to be choosy with where I take my kid. Staff super friendly and understanding. Nobody is judging me when my kid had a melt down because I tried to transition him to another machine. He uses the card to start a game and often admires the lights more than the game/ride itself. This place is clean and I appreciate the limited entryway system before leaving to give me peace of mind since my son often tries to elope. They are never randomly closed for a private party that I would be unaware of unless I check their website weekly. read more

Hell this was the nicest chick e cheese I've ever been to. It was clean, organized and the kids running it were doing their jobs. I love the time-based payment system. I think that's super smart. You pay $20 and you can play unlimited for an hour. Great deal! Not a fan of feeding 1000 tickets into a machine manually (especially when it makes this loud and terribly annoying eating sound) but besides that major glitch... every game was working, the clientele wasn't half terrible, and the pizza looked pretty decent ! Mind you we just moved here from just outside Baltimore. And the Chuck E. Cheese in those parts is literally like walking into a crack den so I have nothing else to really compare this too. Great place for kids. My four year old loved it. Yes, it is not a gourmet restaurant and is over priced. There is food on the floors and it is dirty, but what do you expect with hundreds of kids running around unsupervised. We had the pizza and it was decent. Hot and fresh. They have a salad bar too. The games are great and all kids were having a blast there. Wonderful place and the staff was nice and friendly. It is not perfect, but what is. Let's be honest... Chuck E. Cheese is not exactly a destination hot spot for good eats. However, I felt I needed to post our meal to point out how absurd it is to anyone considering making the mistake of ordering what we did. The lack of concern or sympathy from "management" is why I will post a 1-Star review, one star reviews are not the norm for me to post. I ordered a family appetizer platter with my choice of wings, celery, fries, and breadsticks. The price is $10.99 and the menu says it feeds a "family of 4". Nobody at the register informed me of any expectations (this will matter later), and I thought this would be great to hold everyone over while playing games in hopes of getting a real meal afterwards. A pic of the description of the platter is in my picture review. The next photo posted is what was served to me... 3 boneless nuggets, 2 celery sticks, I think 18 french fries, and dry breadsticks with "shake" parmesan cheese on them. I told the staff that this wasn't going to fly, as I ordered the family platter that serves 4. He went to get the manager. The manager came out and asked if I had a problem. I explained my "family platter" purchase and showed my receipt. I was told by the manager that I did receive the family platter and if I needed to order another I could. I responded that I can't even give each family member 1 nugget, that I'd have to split the celery in half and that everyone can have 4 french fries. I told her I was cool with not needing breadsticks but I needed enough boneless wings and fries for my family of 4. The manager told me that staff at the counter will almost always inform me of the expectation of proportions. First of all, I'm calling BS on that. No one would publicly announce such a pitiful representation. However, I told her they did not, and that my expectation was built solely on the menu offering. I was told she cannot help me and that I could order more. My 1star review is the best FU I can do without getting arrested. For good measure... a McDonald's Happy meal has FOUR nuggets in it, fries, an additional side, a drink, and a better crappy toy for just $3.29 I just wanted to put that in perspective before you make the mistake I did. Disgusting. The service, the food, and the after effects. I took my family here last night and the older kids had pizza while I and my youngest had the salad bar. I am vegan and the salad bar is the only food option for me at this restaurant. After eating the questionably cleaned produce, I was up all night with a messed up stomach and my 1 year old was projectile vomiting several times until it was all out... diarrhea followed. The pizza took well over an hour to arrive at the table, it was busy so I guess this can be expected. There was a rude staff member named Jasmine who helped to make the experience worse for my family. I will not patronize this place ever again. It's a health hazard for adults and small children alike. read more

So the facility is nice and clean, the games and rides are good and the kids like them, the price per kid works out well and everything is included which makes it easy. The down fall is the service, it was super slow and disorganized; the server was slow to take the order, then the tokens took so long we bought some to tide the kids over, the drinks we asked for like 3 times, then the food was slow, the pizza came and the sandwiches came like after everyone was done eating, the cake took so long the kids got up and left the table, I was very disappointed with the service. What a difference a few months make. There's definitely something going on here. There appears to have been almost a complete turnover in the staff just in the past few months. You can tell by the attempted smiles from those that are left that they're not happy being there. A couple of the managers (at least that's what their ID's say) just give you an attitude if you say anything. The food quality has gone downhill as well. The last time we ate there, we couldn't find a clean table. We went and sat in the back and had to clean our own table. There was something on the table (kind of like sand mixed with adhesive) that just wouldn't come off no matter how much you wiped the table. The table next to us had leftover pizza scraps on it that. From what one of the staff said, it had been there for at least three days. read more

I really dislike chuck e cheese but my kids like it. We had a birthday party there and for what you get not sure if it's worth it. There was food from a previous event under our table plain disgusting. The staff is hit or miss sometime sweet and other times they suck. Games are not that interactive it almost feels like a child introduction to gambling and omg it's loud. I do it for my kids they have fun there and keep asking to go back. This was a fun party for my 4 year old niece and her friends! Very safe place, food was good, staff was upbeat, the kids had a blast!

The service is lacking big time. Line to order pizza was very long and no one at the registers for the majority of the time. Girl working the register couldn't sell beer so she had to get her manager which took over 5 minutes after we had already waited in line 20 minutes to order. The soda fountain area was disgusting and needed a good cleaning. The hand sanitizer stations were empty. When we left to turn our tickets in, there was no one at the counter and it took over 10 minutes for someone to come. Pizza took a long time to come out but was delicious. The ONLY reason I gave it two stars. Our prior experiences here were the same. I doubt we will ever go back. They have had plenty of chances. read more

I really wanted to have a good time here with my family but we went in for lunch during the week and had a bad experience. We ordered food and it took over 30 minutes to get to our table including the kids menu food! There was no hand sanitizer in the dispenser close to us, the soda machine had not been hooked up even thought they had been open for over an hour, one of the coins we got didn't work on the rides and they said I would have to wait to get it replaced and the ticket counter I tried to redeem my tickets with wasn't working and I couldn't get help. Had my 4th child's birthday party here in October. The website would not allow me to use a credit card to reserve the party at the time, and the following day I received a nasty message from the manager, Alexis saying that I needed to pay the 50.00 over the phone or in person by 10pm that night or my childs party would be cancelled. I called the online customer service number and they said that my party wasn't cancelled but there were issues with paying the deposits online. She instructed me to try again and make a new party reservation and she would cancel the original and it should allow me to make the deposit with credit card online. I did that, and the card system still wasn't working but I was going to make another attempt that evening. Long story short, I got it to work that evening and paid my 50.00 deposit. Party was next day, and I sat with a gentleman that explained all that was ordered online, and it was incorrect. They had the most expensive package out on the table when we arrived, and that's not what was ordered, but the kids had already seen it all. the gift bags, the piñata etc. there were 4 children, and the package had 5, so he said he would just take away a gift bag and charge me for 4 people, even though I didn't order any of it, but my child was already showing her friends the goodies. That being said, we didn't see anyone helping our party until 20 minutes in, and we are supposed to have a designated person for the 2 hour party. We then were RUSHED through the entire process because they got a late start, the kids didn't have time to enjoy the games, etc because it was like, pizza, cake, piñata, ticket blaster, and we were literally pushed through everything quickly to make room for the next party. The bill came, and it was 150.00. Fine. I was rushed to sign the credit card slip, as they had already cleared the table and moved all of our presents, left over cake etc to a side table and were setting out the next party. I got home, and noticed that my 50.00 deposit was never applied to the party. I was overcharged. I called the next day and spoke with Alexis, who wanted the name of the girl that helped us, letting me know that it was her "mess up and she needed to be talked to." And that Alexis would rectify the situation and call me back and credit back the difference. NEVER got a call back, NEVER got my 50.00 back, and we will NEVER be returning here. I also got an email asking how things went, and I responded with similar response to this.. NO response. I used to think so Highly of Chuck E Cheese, and have had atleast 6 birthday parties here, and this experience was awful. No follow through by management, poor attitude, and lost money.
