It was lame to try a bait and switch imo, lure in with a lower price ($27) and try upcharge for a normally included service. I get its a struggle but so not a fan of manipulations. GRR. Just like when an older lady tried to cut in the checkout line (yeah SAME Walmart) when I went to grab a Frappuccino in the cooler... I totally would have offered but NAH B... not now. Ashamed how I yelled 1min after... Anywho, would have rated higher but the appointment time was pushed back one 2x, set for 5:30pm didn't get in until 7pm but I got shopping and dinner at Subway in the meantime, so not a super big deal... waiting in a massage chair while having dinner was tolerable. Very rude! On Fri 5/12 at 12:15pm I came to the salon to inquire about getting a fill and pedicure. I noticed only one employee, who happened to be given a pedicure, so I wasn't expecting much but thought I would ask since I was in Walmart, where the salon is located. She was speaking however she had a mask on so I couldn't hear her. Mind you she didn't even look at me. So I said, "Excuse me, I couldn't hear you." She began saying that she didn't have any availability. I asked does she have an idea of when she or someone would be available, just in case I wanted to make an appointment and/or come back? She said it will be a long wait. I asked about how long of a wait! She finally turned around, looked over at me and flat out said that she didn't know and that she was leaving. She didn't offer me a card to take for me to call and make an appointment or if someone else was coming in after she left. So I took that as maybe she just didn't want my business. So guess what!!! No problem! You succeeded! They won't ever get my business. I thought no harm in trying them out since my hubbie and I were in Walmart doing some last minute shopping. I will continue to go to where I've been going since I moved here from California 3 years ago. Tina's Nail salon in Arlington Heights. They maybe a bit pricier but I will pay for great customer service. Obviously Regal Nails has no idea about that. They maybe less than the salons in the area, but I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap, dirty, sloppy, rude, and inattentive.... I hate rating places poorly, but this was not horrible. They're located inside Walmart do I thought I'd give it try while my fiancé shopped for yard work. I walk in and I'm avoided, and no other clients were presents. I asked for their mani and pedi deal and the told me to pick a color and sit on the pedi chair. They're selection of nail polish is cheap and old. I sat on the chair the lady was on the phone arguing while doing my pedi. She was sloppy and rushing. My toe nails are so poorly done blank spaces and streaks all over and HELLLA AIR BUBBLES. I sat in the mani chair and there was nail file dust everywhere. While I'm sitting she starts cleaning the counter top with all nail dust on it, and all fell on my pants and top-GROSS! And then the same scenario for my toes occurred on my mani. The nail bottle was streaky. This has to be the worst nail job I've had. I have dents and dings on nails, empty spaces, streaks, nail polish on my skin I had to ask to be taken off, and my nails are so poorly filed you can see it. After she was "done" she just left me to sit there for 20 mins not saying anything. I asked if I'm done and she said ya so I asked to help get my card out. If there was a place to leave zero stars, that's exactly what this place would get. I went in this week (2/13 in the late afternoon) to get a mani and pedi. Since I wasn't sure what type of manicure I was going to get because I don't get them often I decided to start on the pedicure. It was just myself and the employee in the salon so I tried to make small talk with her, which seemed to annoy her so I stopped. The pedicure itself lasted no more than 10 minutes and then the polish color that I chose for my nails was dry so she thinned out. I assume this caused the color to not come out much much lighter what I thought it would look like so I asked to do a darker color. At that point, she informed me that she was not going to be doing my manicure. When I asked her if it was because I asked questions or was it because I asked for my polish to be changed, she seemed to get aggravated and kept saying that she's not gonna do my manicure because "she has a headache." Once my pedicure was done, I sat under the fan and I could see from the corner of my eye she took two pillows and sat in the pedicure chair to start watching something on her phone. When my time was done, and I noticed that she put her phone down and then pretended to be asleep, like my toddler children do!!! By now, I was completely dumbfounded and I stood there because I wasn't sure how to react. Although the service was horrendous, she still provided a pedicure for which I was going to tip her. After a little bit, she opened her eyes and acted like she was surprised and said that I didn't need to tip her. I have gone to a lot of salons in the past, but this one is one for the books. I have never been treated so rudely or denied service because I asked questions. If you are looking to waste your money, be talked to rudely, get a subpar service or an employee that is more interested in her phone than her job , this is a place for you. I really hope this franchisee owner addresses the situation as not only did she lose my business that day, but I'm not sure how many other people have been denied service due to this rude employee read more

I been going to this nail salon for a while, definitely love it, most of the time I go in with an open mind with what I want, and I never had a complain on the treatment I received. Just yesterday I had an idea on an anchor nail design, and Tina can always bring my ideas and her ideas together and make a pretty amazing design. She takes her time on you regardless of how full the place can be, she does not rush it which shows her love for the client and what she does means a lot more then just getting unhappy clients... her husband is definitely a plus too, my mother loves how he does her nails... definitely recommend them too And this place.. read more

Never coming back here again. I got a pedicure and it looks like i got them done by a 5 year old. Also got a no chip and instead of using nail polish remover to remove the polish from my skin she dug her nails on my skin to remove it. Once she was "finished" I had nail polish under my nails and on the tips of my nails. I had someone else fix 4 of my nails. Then when they "fixed" it they painted my nail a different color but told me it was the same one. I looked at her desk and showed her the one she used vs what my other 9 nails looked like. I usually get the no chip manicure but this time I decided to do a full set in gel and I did the Gelish nail polish and their colors are very pretty! I went for a gel nail fill.The technician greeted me,gave me the colors to select from and she started to work on my nails. She started on my right hand, removed my nail polish and received a phone call which she was on for 15 minutes. She filled my nails while she was talking on the phone the entire time she put away the solutions without starting on my left hand. That was when I got very annoyed and I asked her to please hang up the phone. She did finish my nails and did a nice job but I find this very frustrating that we cannot conduct our business without being on the phone! read more

Absolutely horrible! I went here based on the reviews on Yelp, and I couldn't be more unhappy than I am now. I went in to get my nails taken off, and the lady didn't bother to soak them at all; she just began prying them off. Only until my nail bed began bleeding profusely on my ring finger did she finally soak my nail! I had to put band aids on 5 of my fingers because she was so rough with them - parts of my natural nail came off with the acrylic, leaving the ends of my nail beds exposed and super sensitive. I love this place and staff soooo much. They are so kind and very creative... simply amazing! My nails always look perfect and I'm always getting compliments on them. They last so long and are very strong(even the bling!) . They are great at shaping coffin nails and whatever shape you desire. Plus they have a wonderful selection of polish and do stunning nail art! In comparison to a "high end salon/spa" - I recently went to Mario Tricoci in Schaumburg and payed $160+ for acrylic + pedicure and that's WAY less here (like half the price or more) ..Mario was the worst experience ever and my nails broke a few days later. Plus Mario Tricoci salon uses a non professional dipped base acrylic system you can buy yourself at Walmart and easily do at home but Mario salons will charge you $80 (; they actually sculpt the nail and do a wonderful job here at this salon for such an amazing price. I'm seriously giving them a three star rating based off of customer service. They're all really friendly which I love! I've been there three times & after having bad experiences all three times I thought it was time to do a review. The prices are great, BUT there is a nail salon not too far (on Kirchhoff) with better prices & better service. My first time I went for an acrylic set and not on did it hurt from her filing too roughly, but the nails were cut unevenly and there were bubbles in the top coat. The second time it wasn't so bad, the man who works there (I believe he's the only one) did a really nice job. My only complaint was he didn't remove all the nail polish I had on before applying the acrylic French set so I had a small pink dot on my nails. It shouldn't really be my job to spot that. The last time I went which was two days ago the older women did just a plain manicure and it literally was a waste of $15. ($12 + a tip just because she was sweet and I felt bad). Not to be rude but my nine year old niece could've probably done better. All in all I'd recommend it here if you want cheap prices and good customer service but I'd recommend being VERY vocal. If it hurts say something. If you don't like the look then say something. Don't leave a tip unless you really think they deserve it. It helps to make a reservation,but walk ins are always welcome. They treat you as a regular even if your not. This place was horrible! We are new to the area from WI my daughter and I were looking for a new place to goto on a normal basis. I had mine and my daughters nails done there 9/5/13 the guy who did mine messed them up caught the sides of my fingers and did not get the under real nail trimmed down.The paint was chipping off and just looked bad. I kept catching my hair on the real nails left behind when i washed my hair. My daughters nails 4 days later were still burning her because he went to low on the acrylic. 5 days later i went into show them how horrible they looked i was told they would redo them and that the guy who did ours no longer worked there I said ok and made an appt for today the 12 of sept. Was a little disappointed to see that they used scissors instead of a nail cutter; but doesn't mean it was bad. It's a small space inside of a Walmart so I wasn't expecting glamour. however I was concerned when I over heard a woman complain that they wouldn't take her punch card for her mani/pedi even though because they said the NEXT time they would. I believe they resolved the situation, but for a person who said they were a 3 year customer, it's not smart to be stubborn about something like that. In the future if I have more options, I'd probably go somewhere else for the sake of comfort, but honestly for the price I'm willing to deal with a cranky employee that does nails well. read more

Five days later the toe is still painful and is now discolored. So I went to my primary physician, who confirmed the toe is infected, and now I'm on antibiotics for seven days. After she cut me, I asked her, "So how do we continue with the pedicure now that I have an open wound?"
