He also was pulling the edges of my fake nail off my real nail and caused damage to my real nails doing so. The whole interaction was awkward and felt rushed. I walked in at 6:10 and left at 6:30, they don't close until 7:00. If this is the service for just a soak off, i would never come for a set. In a quest to find a decent, consistent place, we've found another place. So far so good. They…read moregot us right in even after 5, where I usually find it gets busier with people stopping after work. We were just lucky. 7 people came in right after us. Whew! Anyway, I don't like pedicures, so I usually get the basic as I don't like sitting there too long. But I went ahead and upgraded since hubby always gets some sort of deluxe. Even with that, she got me out quickly. I loved that. A lot of people might not since they would like to relax, unwind, and be pampered, so I did want to mention that. But for me, it was awesome! She slightly cut my toenails shorter than I like as I don't want ingrown toenail's, but they grow back. She did a great job of cleaning up the areas around the toes, massaging, and the waxing "soak" after. For now, I will definitely be back as long as it always stays consistent.

I…read moreonly go to a specific nail place but today my mom wanted to go get our nails done, I said okay fine.. so my mom got her toes done, I got my nails done... I started off asking for square classic white French tips. I DO NOT like my nail bed pink I like it nude, I tell him that.. I SHOWED him my inspo photo, he said ok I can do that so I think cool, my nerves are still high bc I only trust MY nail lady but it's fine he said he can do it. (always trust your gut and don't do it) He applies my tips, there HUGE and I'm not talking long bc I mean duh there long at first, no I'm talking THICK. Mind you, we've only made it to gluing on TIPS and there THICK. He then gets to where he's applying acrylic and holy cow is he slapping it on THICK. I'm terrified might I add on the verge of tears already but trying to still give him the benefit of the doubt. He goes in with clear acrylic btw which is fine, but once he's done with all my nails I wash, quickly realize deep down that these are DUCK nails and not square so when I got back to his table, I asked him to go thinner all around so he "does" then I kid you not, tries to start on my white French tips on only CLEAR ACRYLIC. I stopped him, asked him if he would put a nude gel on all of my nails and then go back and paint the white tip. He told me he was not able to do that. I asked him why? He still just told me he was not able to do that. So I decided to go with all white because I know the minute I leave here I am going to try to get them fixed from my lady or just take them all off instantly before I start pissed off crying. I leave, my mom calls me on my 45 minute drive home and talks me into calling up there and asking for refund so I do. As I'm telling the lady that answered the phone why I would like a refund and that I don't live in Duncan, I offered to give her the number for the card I used over the phone... she LAUGHED AT ME and said "no we don't refund" I said well you will today, she offered to make me an appointment to " fix" them I told her I will not be driving another 45 minutes to come back for another set of nails I will absolutely hate. She then proceeded to LAUGH IN MY EAR AGAIN and try to schedule me another appointment. Please please please do not go here. I will be calling my card company to have to get my refund for these hideous bricks on my fingers and have to go to a different nail salon to get them removed so to save you, from the phone calls and the removal or whatever, learn from my mistakes.

They sat me right down without an appointment and got to work, I was so relaxed by the end that I had almost fallen asleep in my chair. I opted for the marine salt scrub and it felt ~amazing~ on my swollen feet and legs. I wish I had gotten the name of my nail tech to give her a shout out on here, I feel like she went above and beyond and paid me special attention yesterday.
