Unpleasant experience! I recently visited Pretty Nails in Lawton, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The salon itself was not very clean or well-maintained. There were visible dust and clutter, which did not create a welcoming or relaxing environment. Prior to leaving I visited their restroom, and it was filthy! Its appearance was something you might find at a very busy road stop gas station! It left me feeling as if their level of bathroom cleanliness could very well indicate their pedicure bowl and tools to be sanitized in a subpar way. Anna the technician did not do a great job on my pedicure. She actually scrapped the side of my toe, drew blood and did not even offer an apology! Nothing. I had to ask for a band aid and she seemed completely unaffected that she had caused a minor injury, that quite frankly hurt like a serious injury. To top it off, the prices were quite high for the level of service provided. I did not feel that I received good value for the money spent. I would not recommend Pretty Nails in Lawton, OK to anyone looking for a high-quality nail salon experience. I will definitely not be returning. read more

I went in for a much needed pedicure, as it had been a month or two. The male nail tech (middle-aged Asian man) told me to come back again as my heels were very dry after only scraping them a few times with tool!!! I explained to him that was why I was there, for them to file the rough areas off my heel. They weren't overly bad and a little bit of shaving with their tool would have fixed them right up. I've never had an issue before with anyone, at any nail shop, telling me my heels were "too dry" to be worked on. Isn't that what pedicures are for? After this experience and the extreme laziness and disregard of this employee, I'll NEVER go back to this nail salon. read more

Had a full set acrylic. They were fat, too big, bumpy edgedes, wrong shape that wasn't even on some nails. And the old lady, tech, shoved her natural nail hard into the side of my finger causing me to Bleed. read more

This salon has brand new chairs and a really attentive staff. I got a pedicure and manicure. This was probably one of the best pedicures I've had as the technician really took their time. Over all it was a wonderful experience highly recommended. read more

Pretty Nails have changed management not as good as the other owners:less experience.They will say they can do a design but in the end it's totally different from what you wanted;they did apologize but still not what I asked for...had to go in a total different direction. Danny was the nail artist that did my nails and they came out so good! I've been living in Lawton for a little over a year and this has been the best work done on my nails so far. We went to this salon for pedicures for family day at Fort Sill. It was myself, my daughter, her aunt and my daughter even convinced her husband to give it a try. We ended up all getting the higher priced pedicure with hot stone massage. We had a really nice experience. The pedicure area is seperate from the manicure area. I liked that idea, as it made the place seem a little more intimate. The prices were average for anywhere I've been. Most nail spas are about the same price across the country from my experience. The staff was very friendly and did a very good job. Even with four people walking in at once, we didn't have to wait long. They started with the son in law (before he chickened out) lol Soon, other nail techs were available and we were all sitting in the pedicure row, getting our nails done. It turned into quite a party atmosphere with lots of joking and laughing. The staff had a great sense of humor. Since we were celebrating my daughter's BCT graduation (and our bill was going to be large) they threw in complimentary hot wax treatments for everyone. They used baggies with hot wax in it, instead of the large wax vat, which I thought was a great idea for sanitary reasons. They also gave us the nicest 'temporary flip flops" I had ever received from a salon. They weren't the styrofoam junk that some places tape to your feet. They were hard soled flip flops I still have and can still wear. They also had some pedicure chairs for little kids! small chairs with soaking tubs and what looked like TVs or laptop computers of some sort attached. Although we didn't have any kids with us, I thought I would mention it, in case it helps some one else. The son-in-law, who was dead set against a pedicure when we arrived, (as men just don't do that kind of thing) ended up loving the results of his pedicure. No polish, just a clean up and massage. Even two weeks later he mentioned how nice it was. I think we have a convert ladies!! lol I would go to this place again if I were to find myself in Lawton. I would also recommend this to folks looking for a good quality pedicure in a friendly place. It is next to Buffalo Wild Wings in a strip mall. The only suggestion I would have would be to get a larger nail polish collection. It was kind of a limited selection. read more

I recently moved to Lawton a few months ago, this is the 3rd place I've tried in town so far. At this point, it's been the best of the 3, but I will probably continue my search. This is your typical, average, nothing fancy about it, nail salon. The prices were good, $33 for a mani/pedi, however, you get what you pay for. The selection of colors was somewhat limited, and limited only to China Glaze colors. The pedicure was ok, nothing special, about what you could expect for the price. I would go back for a pedicure again if I had to. I am a little disappointed that now, the next day, the polish is dull and has no shine and the color is already rubbing off. The manicure. Well, it was rubbish. My nails, which already had a nice rounded shape (as I just had the best manicure of my life 3 weeks ago in Oklahoma City) were cut and squared despite my asking them not to do so. Oh well, no huge deal, they're just nails and they grow back. What I was really unhappy about was that an hour after sitting with my newly painted nails under the fans, there were bubbles in the polish and they were STILL WET. I paid, went home, and repainted my finger nails myself which I should have just done in the first place. read more

I read decent reviews about Danny but that man f*cked my pedicure up! I was zoned out while getting the pedicure and he made my square shaped toenails narrow, round and stubby with an awful paint job. Tracy lied about him being able to do a full set for me. They made me wait for a new tech as he started on a customer that just came in. I guess he didn't want to deal with me after the pedicure but don't lie and say you can't do what I'm requesting. My full set by Tracy's husband was mediocre. Tracy fixed my pedicure and did a much better job but at that point a bad taste was left in my mouth. I wasn't expecting a 10/10 but damn. OP Nails is pricier but the experience and atmosphere is much more pleasant with beverages and light snacks. read more

I have been going to pretty nails for 15 years and I will never go back again. I took my daughter in to get nails and get myself a fill and her eyebrows brows done. Waited over 40 minutes to be seated and I didn't mind that, but Tracy stayed on her cell phone talking throughout the whole process. She burned my finger because she wasn't paying as much attention to my nails as she was her phone. I picked out the color I wanted and she only used the glitter coat and not the color I chose. Then she put a clear coat on it and left my nails to thick. She waived me over to another chair to dry my nails while still on the phone and she had another person she started on. Kieth put two tips on my daughters fingers and used powder acrylic over her natural nails. He was watching a movie on his cell the whole time while doing her nails. Tracy's worker waxed my daughters eyebrows and did a good job and was attentive and friendly . When I went to the register to pay, Keith said 73 dollars. I was totally shocked! Not only were they inattentive and the service really sucked (except for my daughters I waxing job) but I was overcharged as well. 73 dollars for 2 tips and acrylic over natural nail, acrylic fill and paint job (with my nails too thick and without the color that I wanted) and my daughters eye brows waxed. After 15 years of going to these people and recommending friends to this place...I received shitty service and was overcharged. I will NEVER be back and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Four of us went there on Family Day from Ft. Sill and we were VERY disappointed. When I'm out of town I turn to Yelp for suggestions. This time it didn't work. We all got pedicures and they were fine but when I got a "fill in" of my nails, it was terrible. Two different colors of pink on two of my nails. My advise, don't go there. read more
