I got cellulitis from this place (confirmed by a dr) I'm on antibiotics and steroids. Filed my nail too thin and glue got under my real nail. I let them know. Sent pics. Cassie was responsive at first. I sent a pic of my urgent care paper work and my wristband and they never responded back. The pic with the nail still on is less than 24 hours after having my nails done. I had it removed the next day because the pain was unbearable. read more

I am disappointed in the service I received. I asked for a Gel manicure, the technician (Don) gave me a regular manicure. I asked about it, and he just shook his head. He never came back to me and told me to wait 10 mins. When I looked at his nails, he had dirt under them. (I reported this to the front desk) I told the front desk what happened, she then got Jimmy to do over my manicure with Bubble Bath nail polish. When I got home, I found that my toes were smeared because Don put the sponge separator on my toe nail. When I look at my nails on my hands the coating was inconsistent. My first visit here for a mani/pedi. I felt like the person who did my nails rushed the job. Seemed like he was in a hurry to get somewhere. I've never left a salon with polish on my skin like I did here. I didn't notice until i was in the sunlight. I don't know if it was the color I chose or the tech did not put enough on but i can see through the polish on my fingernails. Also the counter that he was doing my manicure on was very gritty. Really needs to be wiped down and there was no hand lotion with my manicure. First time that was not part of the service. With so many salons in the area, next time I'll go elsewhere. read more

Let me start this review by saying I have tried this nail salon several times because it had so much potential! It is extremely unfortunate that O P Nails has so many inconsistencies in their business. After moving from California I was very excited to finally discover a high quality nail salon. However, the last time I was here there was an incident that I cannot overlook. It was the day before I needed to look presentable of course, I came to O P Nails and everything was going fine until the last coat of glitter was applied to my toes... At first I thought the lady was joking... she grabbed my shoes and said "hurry hurry it's time to go!" I said... "Excuse me I don't believe my toes are dry", the lady replied, "it's okay they are dry!" She proceeded to aggressively shove my slides on my feet. I left wrongfully tipping the lady $20 + the $45 pedicure... I had NO IDEA that I was going to go home and see my toes completely messed up. This was so unfortunate. I guess it really depends on who you have doing your nails for the outcome to be a positive one. I like to give businesses the opportunity to "right their wrong" so I attempted to call them once I got home only to see that they were closed. This time when I went in I showed the lady at the front desk the picture of my toes and asked if there was any possible compensation for me completely wasting my money last time. The lady rudely brushed me off and said I should have came in right after for them to fix it... OK... This location is nicely decorated however I can't see myself returning due to their lack of fair customer service. If a customer were to spend over $50 at my business I would expect nothing less than to properly preform the service they were looking for. If I made a mistake or my employee made a mistake I wouldn't hesitate to make up for it rather than lose a genuine customer. Please do better O P Nails! Treat your paying customer with respect! Went to OP nails for eyebrow wax which I have done before and have been very satisfied with the outcome. Today, Phillip did my eyebrows saying they were uneven and he was going to fix them. I told him okay & I wanted them to just be cleaned up! He was aggressive from the beginning putting both hands on my face adjusting my head in an unprofessional manner (aggressive) and decided to wax my eyebrows very very thin and far apart. In the middle of waxing my left eyebrow he told me "you have a cut down the middle of your eyebrow". Oddly, wasn't there before I decided to get my eyebrows waxed by OP Nails again. When Phillip was finished he gave me the mirror to look and the only thing I noticed was that he plucked/waxed making my left eyebrow far from my crease. I mentioned it to him and he told me he could fix it. I got up and left! Only to realize after paying in the car he waxed them very thin. Ironically, they're extremely uneven now due to Phillip wanting to play Picasso with my brows today. The front desk lady refunded me told me that there was no point in getting another technician to fix his mistakes because there was no hair left to fix! As she was apologizing she told me next time to request the same technician as last time and was writing down a recommendation. No recommendation can fix my eyebrows. Thank you OP Nails for stabbing a knife in my confidence and making me go down 70$ at Ulta to get eyebrow stencils to fix your mess up. Don't put technician in a field they don't even have common sense to realize turning thick brows into thin brows for one doesn't make sense and your customer never asked for that and two it doesn't look natural. The man at the front desk clearly wasn't impressed with my nails either, as he asked to see them- and then asked me if I was happy with them. When I stayed I was not, the only solution given was to come back within 7 days, and they would "fix" them. Why would I ever return to a business that thinks this is an acceptable way to let your customers leave? I got the sugar pedicure and checked in at 12:15 and he was done at 12:35 that was the fastest pedicure I have ever had even a basic no extras should take longer then 20 min if done properly. I felt terrible that my boyfriend just wasted his money. Even he was shocked with how quick it was. If I could rate zero I would. He didn't cut cuticles or toes just some basic filing. I was in town for the weekend, found this nail place close by. I drove there at 11am and they didn't have an appt until 5:30 pm that was fine, I figured it was a good shop.. I went in and waited half an hour, I get acrylics on my toes and hands.. my pedicure hurt, the lady's nails keeps digging into me during the nail application aswell as the massage.. it was painful and not relaxing at all. I thought it would end there, but it didn't. When it got to doing my fingers (I think she sat at station 12, I can't remember, she was a little bit older lady) she could not apply the tips straight to the point where we had taken off the tips several times and my nails were hurting, she had another lady come over and put the tips on and the other lady did a little better. At that point I just told her to take them off and I would leave but she assured me she could do the ombre application well. I should have just left but I did not, we did basic pink and white ombre and the application was fine until she started filing off all the ombre so they don't even look ombre anymore, she cut my cuticles with the drill several times aswell. I have a great nail tech where I live in Texas but I did not hold my standards that high going to a new place, even with low standards the nails were too short the ombre did not look ombre, and the pedicure was horrible. I had this done Saturday evening, today is Tuesday and already one of the nails are broken.. I was asked to pay $135 for my service which was cheap compared to what I usually pay at my great nail lady, but I was unhappy and let the front desk receptionist know so she took it down to $120.. at this point I paid the $120 and alreday have a broken nail and the worst full set on my hands that I've ever had so now I have to go pay more to get my normal lady to fix it.. I was literally in tears when I got in my car to leave. The whole time I would let her know if there was anything wrong but at certain points you just can't fix anymore. I'm very disappointed and very glad that I don't have to go back. I just wish I didn't have to pay so much for something I have to get completely redone. read more

I came in on a Sunday and was impressed with how fast I was able to get helped, I literally didn't have to wait at all. I decided to get a full set and my boyfriend got a pedicure The guy that did my nails was really kind, I just wasn't impressed with his work. I got coffin shaped nails and some are a lot more pointy than the others and some are kinda lopsided. I he made one of my thumbs super sharp, I told him i didn't like it, and to match it with my other thumb and he failed to do that, they're clearly 2 different shapes but at that point I was tired and didn't feel like complaining/being there any longer. He was also very rough when filing and I felt like my nails were burning. For the pedicure my boyfriend said she really rushed through it and didn't take her time. She cut his nails really short to the point where they are causing him pain. Both cost $30. wasn't worth it. I'll probably go get them fixed somewhere else. read more

Every time that I went to get a pedicure, they took their time and my nails turned out amazing! They have so many colors to choose from. The reason this isn't five stars is because when I got a fill, I asked for my nails to be shorter. When the guy (Kevin) shortened it with nail clippers, he cut them too short to where you couldn't tell I had fake nails on. Because he cut them so short, I was stuck with that length. It would have been nice if he filed them down before using nail clippers so I could have had the length I wanted. read more

I think I've found my new nail place here in Lawton! Yes, the other places I've reviewed have their good points about them, but this one has it all & I'll tell ya why! Review of service, staff & deluxe pedicure treatment (French pedicure w/ flower design): The outside of the business doesn't do it justice, as once inside the wall decor, colors and fountain feature made you feel like I was in a "nicer" nail salon. I noticed the large selection of nail colors on the wall & sampling of nail designs they offer, so I had a good feeling! First, I have to say out of all the places I've tried here in town, this place just made me feel welcome & comfortable, right from the start. The staff was extremely friendly, polite and very accommodating. Though it was a bit busy, I didn't have to wait long to get in for my pedicure. Once seated they offered me a selection of beverages, from soda to water, which I thought was a nice touch (though I think they should offer hot tea). The massage chairs were very nice too, which is a HUGE plus!! The massage chairs weren't the type where you feel like you're getting mildly tortured (come on--you've been to nail shops where the chairs feel like HELL), but this wasn't the case here; it was a perfect amount of pressure...very relaxing!! AHHHHHH.... Now to the service. I had a gentleman who did my nails and he was a great conversationalist! We talked about travel, food & wine...very enlightening & such a pleasant surprise then the usual, "Oh, so what do you do? or Oh, the weather is nice." LOL He was gentle with the cuticle removal, and did a thorough job...something I really judge a nail salon on (no seriously, I do). He also paid great attention to detail on all the other services too--scrubbing, dry skin removal, etc, but the BEST part of course is the salt scrub & massage!! It was A-MAZING! Then they had another tech do my cute flower design, which was perfect--I'll post a picture too. All in all, I was very happy with my service and this will be my new go-to place!! I went to O P Nails maybe an hour ago, during the process he took of my shellac nails but while using the manicure took he put a hole in one of my nails, he did a terrible job and this is the end result after only an hour and all I've done is drive since then. First timer at this salon ans the receptionist was great and friendly offeriny a beverage. I asked for a pedicure and i got Uncle as the pedicurist and found that he would also be doing my nails. I chose to get solar gel nails with shellac on top. Normally i have paid $65 for pedicure and REAL GEL nails (the kind that is already in liquid gel form out of a jar) so i foynd it was a bit overpriced. Then when he put the nails on my nails some had air pockets close to the top where dood could get trapped in and cause trouble. So i told him to either file it or fill it with glue. He did, the polish job on my nails were average, my nails underneath look horrible. The clean look of a done set of nails was not what i got. Im nit a picky person but if im gonna get charged $70 .... $25 for pedicure and $45 for a average job, then i expect my nails to look decent and professional. I will take a pic...i guess i will keep looking for a new nail salon. read more
