It's always been a nice experience, especially the XD auditorium. Recently however, they redesigned and installed smaller seats. While the new trays make eating convenient, the seats are so cramped now that you are right on top of the person next to you. Each seat used to have it's own armrest but now there's one tiny armrest that you must share. It feels just like any other theater experience now and making us reconsider the trip to get here.

We went to a matinee and the theatre was packed! The line for refreshments was extremely long and there was ere only 2-4 people working behind the counter at any given time. So, we had a lengthy wait to get popcorn and drinks. The one saving grace is that the previews were longer than the line. Honestly, the previews are too long. They played for about 30 minutes (and we spent about 15-20 mins of that time getting refreshments). My 4yo tired of the movie before it ended. She was begging to go home about 2/3 of the way through the movie and complaining that "this movie is too long!"...but I'm certain that was about the amount of previews and commercials that happened on the front end. Overall, the theatre is clean enough and the staff of friendly. However, the theater is a little older so the seats did not recline in the screening room we were in.

There are cute shops, lots of options for sweet treats (bakery, gelato, specialty coffee and tea, etc.) as well as lots of options for light bites, heavy meals, group activities or fun drinks. We patronized a few businesses as we walked, but I also enjoyed these leaf dress displays on the corners (see pics). It reminded me of the art displays large cities often have were there'll be a painted animal (cow, fish, horse, etc.) on various corners. Trilith is a good location if you're looking to burn some time and take in a meal while doing it. I've never been to any of the special events in the area, but have heard good things.

I will say if you're not an avid AMC moviegoer You have to know the difference between the different types of theaters. Imax seats do not recline, like the other theatres. they have lots of great food here, and they also have merch! on this particular day it was on sale. If you sit in the back there will be poles in the way of your view of the screen if you sit in the wrong spot The concession stand workers were super slow the lines lasted until well after the movie started. The popcorn tasted like cardboard and the cokes were flat. Don't expect a giant screen like a high end movie theater but it was still plenty big enough. With all of that being said this place has an endearing quality. It has a box office out front that gives you actual tickets which is super nostalgic. I assume one of the owners was the one selling tickets and she was super nice. The interior feels like it transports you back to days gone by. Lots of gold fixtures and nostalgic ceiling tiles. The seats while old were very cushiony and had an old timey feel. The projector and sound seem to be upgraded to digital. Unfortunately it was super hot in there and I wish the AC was colder. Overall I had a decent time and it's cool to have a theater in a small town. This theater is the same distance away from me as a multiplex. I'll probably just keep going to the newer theater.

The theater itself deserves high praise....it's clear they put a lot of thought into comfort and the overall experience. The seats are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax without feeling cramped. I loved that the chairs are fully adjustable, so you can lounge back and find your perfect angle for watching the show. To make things even cozier, each seat has its own seat warmer, which is such a thoughtful touch, especially on cooler evenings. The atmosphere in the theater was fantastic. Being there with some of the cast made the experience feel personal and exciting. We got to meet a few of the actors and learn more about them, which actually made me dislike Jenard a little less....seeing the people behind the characters really changes your perspective. The theater also has a great bar with a wide selection of drinks, which made the experience feel even more elevated. It's the perfect spot to grab a drink before the show or during intermission and adds to the overall vibe of a night out rather than just a typical screening. Overall, from the spacious, comfortable seating to the seat warmers and adjustable loungers, plus the excellent bar and the chance to enjoy the episode alongside part of the cast, this was an unforgettable experience. The walk is not bad. They have kiosk to purchase tickets and have a member of the staff close by, if needed. Once entry, there is a full bar with high top tables and lounge couches, a nice area. Next to it, you have the regular concession stand foods and drinks. The restroom offers several stalls and it's clean. They had comfortable and spacious, and recliner seating.
