We took 19 family members yesterday (Friday after Thanksgiving). Spent almost $400 on tickets and food! It was the nastiest movie theater I've been in. Poorly staffed. Floors dirty and Popcorn everywhere. Out of lids for drinks. Restrooms were so nasty. I was embarrassed for my family to visit the place. read more

There is no place to buy a ticket unless you stand in the long concession line. Even if you buy them online you still have to wait in the concession line. The theater was dirty and smelled bad. Not impressed. Do better! read more

AMC is such an amazing movie theatre! I wish there was one in Marietta. I visit AMC to see a movie nearly every time that I'm in Opelika / Auburn. This movie theatre is always very clean, and the theaters are huge; especially the Big 3D! They have overpriced snacks, like any movie theatre. You can buy the annual popcorn bucket, which is huge, for $20, and get $4.99 refills the whole year. One thing AMC does that many other movie theatres don't is that they offer free refills on all drinks. And they have freestyle coke machines. The popcorn here is amazingly buttery and perfect. Today, I came to watch the Addams Family, and it was cute. The kids loved it, and it was very funny. Perfect for the Halloween season. I highly recommend AMC 13. read more

Love the theater, but the online info is confusing. Cannot get showtimes well when trying to decide a time to go that day. All they give is the BUY TICKETS MENU. I'll buy my tickets when I get there. Need to know a time before I go. Need preview results and info on all movies 0playing & t prices. It's ridiculous for a coke. Time you get popcorn too you've spent enough to get a good restaurant meal. We senior citizens retired just live in a budget. That's the reason we don't come as much now. I love to go see a movie in that theater. But the prices are getting just too high. Want to see the minions, but daily times are not easy to find. With gas prices as high as they are now, I can't just run over there to check things out anymore. Gas & movie prices are out of sight. Senior citizens tickets are more expensive as well. Comfy with leather-ish seats and limited recline. Lots of room. Very clean and still feels new. Excellent sound. Big D is the way to go for visual effects movies if in the Auburn-Opelika area. Also got the 2016 refillable bucket o popcorn for 20 bucks. Not a bad deal since we go to 10-15 movie/year. read more

This is a great theater with friendly staff, always clean. AMC food and drink prices seem higher than Carmike. One irritating thing was that they showed the same Skittles commercial over and over. read more

New theatre by Carmike. Everything is new. You buy tickets at concession for fast entry. Popcorn and sodas for sure however, there is a larger selection of movie watching foods. Hotdogs, hamburgers, pizza, nachos. Love the convenience of the location. Employees are nice and helpful. read more

Updating a previous one star review... the theatre itself is very nice and clean, but I'd had an issue with the employees that I encountered on my visit being rude and having bad attitudes. The manager did contact me and gave a sincere apology as well as informed me that he would be speaking with the employees involved. Excellent customer service on behalf of the manager, but I did take one star off due to the employees. I hope they get their act together and learn to appreciate the job they have, because anyone can be replaced. read more

My fiancé and I came to the theater tonight to enjoy a movie tonight and ended up having the WORST experience we have ever had at a movie theater. The Whole time there were teenage kids running up and down the aisles, talking very loudly to each other, playing videos with the sound turned all the way up on their phones, flashing lights, and much more. When we tried saying something to the management all we were told is that they couldn't do anything due to the fact that they were all minors. We were also told that this happens EVERY Saturday. How is this okay?!?!?!? We usually spend a lot of money watching movies at this location, but now we don't even want to go back. This needs to be addressed or else many more people will end up having the same experience. Many other customers were complaining while they were leaving as well. Oh and did I mention these CHILDREN were engaging in sexual activities while the movie was going! Is there really nothing that you can do about this????? read more
