Gave this place a second chance cause the first time Ed the manager or higher up person was rude and made me uncomfortable. I have been coming here for the past 8yrs and I have always had a pleasant time. I usually come on Thursdays for the first showing. This theater is normally always clean and smells good. Yes the food is very expensive but well worth it. The recliners theaters are the best in my opinion. You get to select your seat so you don't have to rush to the theater to get a good seat. i asked the supervisor, ed i think, for help as to where i should go as ive never been to a theater before and he grabbed my waist and walked with me, i did not consent to being touched. the supervisor was also being creepy towards some staff members. he wouldnt stop staring so intently at some of the girls and it was just a really uncomfortable vibe whenever he was around. other than the supervisor, which i wouldnt trust your kids around, the experience was generally okay. read more

We couldn't figure out where exactly the theater was when we got there. We didn't know there was a back to the building. That's where the theater is. It's odd that you can't choose your seats when you purchase ahead of time. But that was a blessing in disguise. And love that you can order your refreshments ahead of time too. Nice sized rooms wish they had the dream lounger seats instead. The staff was nice and polite, and very helpful as well. All in all a good place read more

Many thanks to the manager, Daryien, she made our experience with AMC a great one! We left our campsite in Pine Mountain and headed to theAMC in LaGrange, which showed open on Yelp and the Website for AMC, it was closed. We drove 25 minutes to get there and not be able to see the movie we wanted to see. So we drove 30 more minutes to Columbus to the AMC Ritz 13. On the way to Columbus I was chatting online with a representative from AMC and she apologized but could not offer anything for our inconvenience. I explained everything to Daryien and she gave us our tickets for the movie for free! What a wonderful thing to do. I expected a discount but she did even better and left us with a much better opinion of AMC than what we would have had. read more

Took at least 25-30 minutes to make it through the line even though we didn't want any drinks or snacks. We ended up missing the first 10 minutes of our movie. Friday night and there are two registers open and everyone is forced to be corraled through the concession lines? The reclining chairs were a plus, but there seems to be an issue with their seating charts. You have to pick your seats to go in and, despite the chart showing nearly every seat open, the theater was 75%+ packed and there was a couple in the middle of our row of four seats that we had to politely ask to move. Add to all of this the fact that it now costs an arm and a leg to have a disappointing experience and it's pretty much better all around to wait for the movie to come out digitally or on DVD. read more

Not a bad little theater. Biggest issues had to do with cleanliness which is more than likely a direct result of the place being the largest teeny and high school hangout I've seen. Staff was fast and friendly and willing to address issues such as younger viewers being loud, discourteous, and distracting to other movie goers(they were removed). Definately a place worth taking a date night or the kids to a movie on the weekends or a matinee. read more

I was visiting for my sons Army basic training graduation and we came here for his day pass. The price was around $10 per movie during matinee. They have reclining seats that are very comfortable. Lots of Army people come here for some down time. If I'm ever back in Columbus (I won't be) I will come back to this theater. read more

Horrible. This place was once so nice and affordable. We went to see the new Black Panther movie and the whole experience reminded me of why I make the drive to the Opelika theatre now. We were closer to Columbus so we just decided to go there. Never. Again. First. The girl at the concession/ticket stand was so rude. She was talking to her coworkers, ignoring the fact that I was speaking directly to her and asking about movie times. She rudely answered one of my questions. I also had a question about prices to which she just stared at me and circled the price on the receipt, then slid it over to me and didn't say a word. Second. The theatre was NASTY and we saw the cleaning crew leave, so they were in there "cleaning". There was an empty Coke bottle as soon as you walked in on the floor and popcorn littered the floor everywhere. Third. There was a lady with her laptop writing a paper during the entire previews. Then, she put that away and began filming the movie and Snap chatting it to her friends. Not once did an attendant even walk through the theatre or peak their head in. This place has gone downhill fast. Maybe they should drive about thirty minutes north and have the staff at Tiger 13 show them how an actual movie theatre should be run. read more

Cute little theater in Columbus. I was visiting my brother for his basic training graduation and we decided to stop by here. The place wasn't too busy so the line went by fast, and I liked how we buy both the movie tickets and drinks/snacks all in one transaction (we're from San Diego so that was our first time seeing something like that!). Once we got in the theater, there was a group of people who were talking and laughing, which I didn't mind too much since it was just the trailers. Movie starts and they're still talking -- still talking an hour later, even after being shushed multiple times. I gave up trying to ignore it and asked an employee if we could have a refund, since my brother and I figured we could come back later this weekend. Fortunately they gave us a re-admit pass and now we're back again today. The employees finally removed the group of people from the theater but at that point my family and I just wanted to leave. I was told that they were waiting for just one more person to complain (which ended up being me) which I understand, but I wish something was done sooner, rather than 3/4 of the way through the movie. Other than that, the employees were very nice about giving the re-admit tickets and if I find myself back in Columbus I will be coming back here! I'll just take into account the younger disruptive crowd that we might run into! Lol read more

So there are really 2 theaters in Columbus. I would not say this is the better one. I can't stand how the ticket line is the same as the snack line. If you just trying to get tickets, you have to wait forever. Also, once in while the theater kind of smells like dirty feet. I'm not sure why and maybe it's just me, but it's kind of off-putting. read more

There is no customer service here. AMC you need to train these people and teach them to smile. It's 2:30 ish PM hardly anyone here and employees standing around looking at us while we walked thru the maze to get to the counter and had to step over a pile of sand in the middle of the ropes area walkway (on the carpet). That we later found out was throw up. I stopped to ask why they were sending folks thru the maze and thru the sand and was told "they tried to tell us" by a girl and (a Mgr Wendell?) they were chatting at a back counter when we walked in. Behind us people coming in were sent to the premier line and then they were helped at the counter before us (cuz the premier line goes first) until a couple recognized that we were still waiting. Then we go to the theatre and it's not been cleaned yet. Trash everywhere. WTH? I went and asked for the Mgr (Wendell) who was the one sitting on his @$$ the entire time we stood in line, his employee tried to clean up the sand/throw up while holding her shirt over her nose but not really touching it cuz she was grossed out. But yet they allowed us to walk right thought it. I talked to him briefly and all he had were excuses. I said get it together. If your short handed help out, I will be calling corporate to complain. He later gave us 4 passes for later which I appreciated but that doesn't mean he'll be a better employee or boss! read more

They recently reinevated... There are great things and some not so great. The lobby looks amazing. They have touch screen soda machines (ultra highteck). But on the downsize they made the theaters and the seats smaller. So if you have anything going for you in the rump area, it may be a little cramped. But overall it's a nice facility. Website is down, unable to purchase tickets, tried phoning them no answer, Tried AMC website, that website was unable to contact theater either. I guess it closed down and is no longer doing business, shame had to go to another theater. read more

Customer service is horrible. Your staff needs some training on this. Food is way overpriced compared to other movie theaters I have been to. Screening room is very hot and they don't turn on AC. Avoid this theater even if they have recliners. read more
