It was weird at first when the theater changed hands. I definitely was sad because I was part of the old theatre's rewards plan. But I love New Vision's reward club, no cards needed just your phone number. The only thing is sometimes you have to remind your cashier to take your number for points. But I'm already reaping the rewards so I'm very pleased. The theater is large and well cared for. I wish Montgomery would get assigned seating already, because during the opening of a big movie you have to get to the theater pretty early to get a good seat. They introduced some new concessions items like crispy cookies (not worth the money) and donuts (still have to try these). The icees are good and they have a large selection of coke products. I like coming to this theater because it's close to me. It would be cool if they had more 10am showings of popular movies. But I do love the Friday 10am lineups.

Movie theater on the Eastside of Montgomery by The Home Depot off Chantilly Parkway. They don't have all of the movies you want to see, just the most popular ones. The employees are respectful and courteous and the theaters and bathrooms are clean. I don't like the way they make you get your own popcorn and drinks after you pay for them. You have to stand in line for your tickets and pay for your concessions and then you have to stand in another line to actually get your drink and popcorn. Other than that it's a good place to go.

This is the best movie theater in the Montgomery area. Since it's brand new, it's obviously nice and clean, and I hope the staff keeps it that way for many years to come. They have an "odd" ticket purchase system. You get in line at the counter you would buy food and drinks at to also buy your movie ticket. This is a bit confusing for those who aren't used to this set-up. Also, if you are buying popcorn you are given a receipt, once you pay and then have to cross to the other side of the lobby to pick-up your popcorn. Since you are only given empty cups, you have to go get your own soda as well. This is suppose to make life better for those in line behind you...does it speed things up? Maybe a bit. If you want to buy movie tickets and a beer, well you will be further annoyed, since you have to go to a separate line to purchase and receive alcoholic drinks. If you and your date want a movie ticket, a soda, a beer, and popcorn, you have a bunch of stops to make, be prepared. Once you get past the odd lobby experience you are welcomed to a nice modern theater sound/seating experience. I do wish that the fancy leather seats that they display in the lobby were offered in all of the theaters. Unfortunately those are only installed in their Big D theater...which only shows one (occasionally two) different movies per day/week...and there is a $2 upcharge to see a movie in that theater. Side note: If you are interested in seeing a good independent movie, go to the Capri Theater in the Old Cloverdale neighborhood. It's a much different experience, but I'm happy that Montgomery has a historic theater in town as well as this new modern theater.

The theater was cold! I went up front to ask them to turn on the heat. Didn't seem like they cared.

Bathroom floors were greasy slippery. Whole place had an old musty smell. They left the lights on through the whole movie....

Not a bad spot but they got this weird "wait in the lobby" until seating starts process that was goofy and unnecessary!

We have the AMC app, which allows us to purchase tickets online, so I can't comment on the ticket office. I will say that getting our tickets scanned, ordering refreshments, and finding our theater and seats were easy and straightforward. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked with soap and paper towels. The movie theater is definitely showing its age; I believe it used to be called Rave Motion Pictures before it was bought by AMC. We saw a couple Montgomery police officers providing security in the theater, and we never once felt unsafe. Old theater, but clean establishment with quick and friendly service! No reclining seats at this AMC. I think all things considered, I give this place 5 stars. I don't need the newest theater with all the latest bells and whistles, nor do I need a dining experience while watching a movie. This place does the basics really well and I appreciate it.

We were told that someone from a central location would have to come to adjust the temperature. While the young man at the counter was courteous, he, too, was cold and doing the best he could. I won't go back anytime soon...certainly glad there are other movie theaters in the area.

First of all, I placed an order at the concession counter for a small popcorn and a large Diet Coke…read moreand essentially they would not sell me that they wanted to sell me a candy a large popcorn and a large Diet Coke. I'm just one person I don't need that much food I felt super high-pressure into buying this package and I know the theater makes a lot of their money off concessions so that's the first thing. Secondly, the theater number seven was a pig sky. The seats are super old theater has not been upgraded in a really long time. I asked why they were pushing the special at the concession stand and that I had no desire to have a large popcorn. I only wanted a small popcorn and they continued to throw it in my face, so I just hate the extra few dollars and walked into the theater I don't recommend this location. It's nasty. The employees are rude and I hope AMC takes the time to train their employees better because when you ask for something you should get what you asked for and not what they want to Selya. I didn't know going to an AMC. It was like going to a car dealership. No wonder people don't want to go to movie theaters anymore $28 approximately for a large popcorn, a large Diet Coke and milk duds that I threw away !! Get it together AMC !! I am a movie producer, and I'm shocked that the public even walking in your door based upon this behavior today And the armrest on the chair I was sitting in was falling off

Guessing she wasn't supposed to as another employee fabricated a story and told us we had to leave. We waited outside and after about 20 minutes they said we could either get a free pass to a future movie or we could come in but they were not restarting the movies where they stopped. So, we would have missed that portion. I asked for a refund but was denied that option. Pretty disappointed.
