It's right on Tuskegee University's campus and you can even park right in front. Tour: We cannot remember the name of the young man who gave us a tour or the young lady at the front desk, but both were very sweet. Both were personable and more than welcoming. We immediately felt like we made the right decision even after we had gotten lost of the campus for about an hour. Museum Overall: Although the museum may not be massive, the amount of information that we received made it seem that way. Plus, a lot of the information was very heavy. Prepare your mind prior to getting here because we didn't. There were a lot of times that we stood stuck in mud because we couldn't believe what we had heard/seen. Beautiful, underrated museum! I don't want to spoil anything, so I will leave it at that. Would I recommend? I feel like this should be a trip most people should take, especially children. Will I be back? Yes! There are two more museums on this campus that I can't miss!

We hope you will take a piece of art, leave a piece of art or both." The gallery is one of three in Opelika. It is sponsored by Art Haus and built by Opelika High School engineering students. The galleries are miniature architectural replicas of the Art Haus building at 500 N. Railroad Ave. Architect Behzad Nakhjavan scaled down the plans, and Opelika High School engineering students constructed the galleries through a grant from the Henry J. Stern Family Foundation. The Opelika High School Art Club curates the rotating artwork inside. J. and Ginger Stern of the Art Haus brought the idea to Opelika after seeing similar projects in New Orleans. Their goal was to create small, joyful, low‑barrier art spaces that encourage creativity across the community. The project was completed over the summer of 2024 and officially launched that October. Rising Starz is completely unorganized and too expensive. they charge too much for costumes, too…read moremuch for registration, and too much for tickets to the recitals. When we went to pick up our recital tickets at the office, nobody knew where they were. The first two tickets were free, but we still ended up spending $60 just on tickets. Her reasoning was that it would prevent perverts from walking in off the street to ogle little girls. But when we got to the venue, they didn't even take the tickets at the door. In my opinion, it was just an excuse for her to get more money out of us. During the recital, there were several mishaps, not on the part of the students, but on the part of the organizers. And I am NOT impressed with how well the girls are taught dance. In fact, one of the performances involved literally no dancing aside from bobbing up and down slightly. That would be fine for small children, but these students were old enough to do much more than that. They would have been better off free-styling. There are other studios in town. My advice is to take your child to one of those.
