Beautiful campus. Went to the Argentina soccer game, stadium was practically full. Enjoyed it very much, parking was a challenge and $$ but a good time! read more

My son had a football camp here a few weeks ago and I was thoroughly impressed with the campus and football facilities. The women's bathroom in the football facility was so clean and it had a nursing room! I have an 8 month old so I was very happy to see that. My son enjoyed his visit and maybe we will be back! read more

Auburn really has a lovely, clean campus! My stepdaughter graduated with her PhD in Pharmacy from Auburn. The graduation ceremony on campus was nice and well organized. Back when, I attended initiation here, as I was planning to attend Auburn and then changed my mind and went to UAH instead. One of my sisters attended college here, met her husband, and they finished college in Florida. They are huge Auburn sports fans. I like Auburn. It is renowned for its veterinary college and, the doctoral PhD program worked out great for my stepdaughter! What's not to love about Toomer's corner and the decades of history at this beautiful university! read more

The Campus is beautiful, the study body is great, most of the faculty is good. The School administration is corrupt and should all be fired. We've lived in State, our only residence, for over 2 years, and the university continues to fight us and deny us in state tuition. My wife is from AL, we were married in AL, I went to school here(in state), lived in the state on and off for over 30 years, we were always coming back(and have done so permanently now). We came back when our youngest kids came to school to Auburn, always our plan, would have done so sooner except for delays due to Covid. We meet all the requirements and definitions for Alabama residents, have invested a lot of money into our permanent home here and live here full time. AU is fighting us because they are denying residency to hundreds if not thousands of other students and it means millions annually to the school. The administration is illegally violating our equal protection rights under the constitution, knowingly, and should be fired, if not criminally charged. The Governor also swore an oath to uphold the constitution and is knowingly allowing this to continue. Please reach out if you our experiencing the same problem. This is illegal, immoral, and AU needs to be held accountable. read more

It's a great day to be an Auburn Tiger!!! Took my parents down to Jordan-Hare football stadium for our annual football game. Great seats, great fans, and we came out with an 44-23 victory over Ole Miss. If you ever want near the great city of Auburn, Alabama, be sure to stop and visit the beautiful campus and tell'em Lathon sent ya! read more

It hurts me a little to write this review ... let me toss in a Roll Tide!!! just for good measure. I've been to this campus for a few different things. The one that stands out the most would be the co-op fair that they offer to external employers to come in and interview current students for positions that you may have available. The crew here put on a nice event. It's very well organized and communication between the employers and students seems to be really good. There is a ton for them to coordinate to keep everyone on schedule and ensure that people are where they need to be at the specific times they need to be there. As far as the campus, from what I've seen it's very nice and well taken care of. Any students that I know that have attended Auburn have seemed very pleased with their selection. Very pleased with my interactions with the university any time I've ever been here - minus that woeful day of November 30, 2019 ...... but, let's not spoil this good review and talk about bad things like that. read more

This was my first visit to Auburn University, home to 35K students and a top notch athletic program. Facilities are very impressive from the research labs and classros in several buildings I visited today. They are still constructing another athletic building facility while preparing for home coming festivities. I can see why students pay a higher tuition to attend Auburn over cheaper state institutions in the State of Alabama. read more

The loveliest village on the plains has been a cornerstone of my entire life. As a kid, I loved coming here for Saturday football games. As a college student, I found a new love by being a part of the university more than just being a fan. And now as an adult, the University represents fandom, nostalgia, and all around passion. With some recent tragic events for the school and small community surrounding, I have felt my orange and blue colors shining again. Once I realized I have only reviewed the facilities I have enjoyed sporting events, I knew it was time to write one for the University. Although I didn't take it seriously at the time, my education from Auburn was a top notch experience. Every time I go back, things are always being updated (real mad the rec center wasn't around when I was there). Every time I go back, it takes me back to a place in my life where I was carefree, met my wife, and enjoying everything this amazing institution offered. read more

This was my first visit to the campus. I was extremely impressed with the beauty of the buildings and landscape. Many areas on campus felt tranquil and park like. Auburn University - Toomers corner - Colleges & Universities Near Me - Auburn, Alabama

Auburn is not worth it. The best thing to do is go get yourself a trade certification, or a way cheaper two year degree in something that will most likely pay more, and you will fork less dough out for it. That way the the means justify the ends. I noticed that my two year college had better professors than Auburn. I do not think that this is how it is supposed to work. I am not wet behind the ears on this stuff. I have been around the block in life. I am a military vet, have experience in multiple civilian professions, and have two degrees now. The return on this investment has not been worth it, and I have been paying for it ever since. Statistically, your chances of getting a good return on any for year degree anymore are on the lower percentile. You have to look at it from a cost standpoint, a sacrifice standpoint, as well as an economical standpoint. Those are just a few variables to this equation. I would say this day and age, going to a four year college is not worth it. If you do decide to go to a four year school, your better of with colleges like Clemson or North Carolina State University. They have better professors, but once again, you better have the investments ready. Even then, it is probably not worth it, especially in this day and age. read more

Oh Auburn, what can I say, best 4 years ever. I loved going to school here and living here. As a whole, I really enjoyed my teachers and classes, especially when I got into my upper level major courses. The campus itself it very beautiful, with lots of trees and cool buildings. There are a wide range of extra curricular activities to match your interests. I was interested in radio so I became a DJ at WEGL. I got a lot of hands on experience and definitely learned about working with other personalities. I think the best thing I took away from my 4 years was a group of really awesome friends. I met some of the greatest people here and have had some of the best times with them. No matter what kind of person you are, you can find people who have similar interests. Sure the town is small and maybe sometimes a little boring, but you are less than 2 hours from Atlanta and Birmingham and about 3 hours from Athens. We used to drive to the ATL just to go record shopping. Did you know there are Auburn Clubs scattered everywhere and even if you move far away (as I did) you can still get together with other alumni and fans to hang out? Yes you can! I'm planning on watching most of the football games this year with my Auburn Club here in Seattle. I miss you Auburn. War Eagle! read more

I had scheduled a campus tour here a few weeks ago for my 17 year old. Since I have in-laws in town here, it's been easy over the years to not really appreciate, or at least have taken for granted, all that this university has to offer and contributes to the town since they've always coexisted very well together with the communities that surround it. They tour gave some detailed insight into history, housing, financing, and of course it's football program... The facilities were nothing short of impressive. While the majority of the buildings were modern enough to cater to today's students, they preserved virtually every building and historic landmarks from the university's inception. As I said before, the school blends well with the town, which makes an extremely nice and safe environment for your child to get acclimated to... The curriculum here has something for everybody. My daughter's interest is in biology. But the bio-med program really caught her attention because of the broad range of professions that she can branch out into as a physician without actually committing to a specific type of physician she'd like to be within the first couple years of the course. She was very impressed with how livable the campus is. And after speaking to some of the current students in the book store, she has a totally different perspective on what type of campus she would like to spend her college years on. read more

Some west coast lovin for my husband east coast university. All I can say is Auburn is an impressive looking campus. I got the wife's tour of the campus and I have to say I like what I see. We went by the business school and some of the old haunts my husband used to visit. "Paging, Dr. price, Paging Dr. Price...in the School of Accounting..We tried to visit you but you weren't around. Maybe we'll get to meet next time." Goodness this campus is large. The buildings are all brick and they are building more from what I can tell. So to our friends in AU, War Eagle! And Lets pray your football team does better ..bc its not looking so good. read more

We stopped in here for the football game one perfect fall day (Go Dawgs!!!). It was a decent campus, and tailgating was a sleepy scene... But I will go as far as to forgive an SEC school for sucking at Saturdays when their football team is performing so terribly. There's not a whole lot to Auburn, but I actually enjoyed what little I saw of campus. It seemed like a very student-friendly campus, with wide walkways and plenty of places to park a bike. The stadium was fairly nice, a lot nicer than other college stadiums I've visited. Most places' structure looks like it was built out of toothpicks, and Jordan-Hare looked like a more sturdy, permanent structure (Not sure about toothpick appearance of stadiums? Visit UK or UTennessee to see what I'm talking about-They shake terribly when the fans get rowdy). read more

Returned to Auburn for the "All In" weekend in February 2012 and took in a basketball game and baseball game. Although the weather was crap it was nice to walk across campus and take in the changes since 1983. Pleased to see that Thatch Avenue no longer cuts through campus and that the place is more foot and bike friendly. Lots of new building named for those who made lots of money. Plus plenty of the old stuff from way back. Had to get my photo taken at Toomer's Corner next to the oaks poisoned by the 'Bama eco-terrorist. Breaks my heart to see them look so pitiful - only a matter of time before they are dug out. Only hope the a-hold who did it gets to pay every penny in soil remediation costs and replacement. Unfortunately it won't make any difference in his loser-lifestyle as one trailer is pretty much the same as another. WDE. read more

Auburn is, by far, the best college in the state of Alabama, but sometimes the students don't prove this. It is a wonderful school for an education, but sometimes the administration doesn't prove this. The school is a sports school completely. The way to learn how to navigate the main building on campus is that the 1000 section is facing the Football Stadium because sports are #1 in the school. This is actually what some of the recruiters say to average students who come to see if the school is right for them. It's a crazy school. read more

I attended Auburn as a graduate student from 2010 -2012 (MBA). Overall, I loved the school! It was perfect for me. I thought the campus was a happy medium - big, yet not overwhelming. Very nice campus, well manicured and uniform. New buildings blend in with older buildings - new Engineering Center is an amazing sight architecturally. The sports facilities are very impressive. There is a lot of history and tradition here, which I love. The town of Auburn is quaint. Very small, rural Southern town. Greatest asset Auburn has it is it's people - students, faculty, and program administrators are just the absolute best. There is a real sense of "family" at Auburn. Would have liked more specialization options, but attending Auburn was one of the best decisions I've made in my adult life. Strongly recommend! Only gave 4/5 star rating because I believe there's always room for improvement, and I don't have a lot to compare Auburn to, but it is an awesome school! WAR EAGLE!!!! read more

Just visited here the other day, and cannot stop thinking about it. Gorgeous campus, great architecture, and the students we encountered seemed pleasant. The school is located in a great area and gives off a good vibe. I momentarily gave a thought to possibly attending here, but was turned off by the cost of attendance for even an in-state student. But if I had unlimited (or at least more) money resources, I'd definitely apply here and hope to get in! read more

Auburn is great for getting that big college feel without feeling completely isolated. The construction on campus blows...it makes it impossible to get to class sometimes because you have to take a different detour everyday. The football is magnificent. There are lots of study groups and tutoring for people who want to keep good grades. GAP is a wonderful invention. There are intramural sports for people to enjoy. read more

This is a great university - ranked as a Top 100 University consistently each year, with a veterinary college, architecture college, agriculture college, and engineering college consistently ranked in the top of their fields in the US, and often ranked higher than Ivy League schools. This is the most expensive public university in the state and now one of the hardest schools to be accepted to in the south. That being said, if you are looking for a university campus and student body that radiates pride for their school and hospitality for anyone who wants to come visit - this is the place for you. For fun, ask anyone what "War Eagle" means! read more
