Got early bird tickets to see wicked. The AMC here is great. There's plenty of parking. Lots of theaters and the theaters are generally clean. I will say if you're not an avid AMC moviegoer You have to know the difference between the different types of theaters. Imax seats do not recline, like the other theatres. they have lots of great food here, and they also have merch! on this particular day it was on sale. Baby boy wanted to see A Minecraft Movie and of course i had to come back to Southlake. The service and cleanliness of the location keeps me coming back. My purchase via the app was smooth. I arrived, my code was scanned, and I was on my way. Headed to the snack area, grabbed a kiddie combo for $10 and was off to see the movie. Arriving in the theater, the floors and seats were clean. The air was fresh and the quality was stellar. After this laser experience i can never go back to regular cinema. Ha!!! Happy Movie Timeeeeeee!!!! read more

Quite possibly one of the worst theater experiences I've had not long ago. Such a shame cause I've come here many times to watch movies but I think this place has officially lost the appeal. My biggest issue is that there is absolutely no enforcement on keeping cellphones silent when the movie is playing. Anyone can do as they please even if it means disrupting the experience for everyone else. Today a man sat in the front row after the movie began and blasted a loud clip from his phone. Frustrated after having experienced this multiple times here, I told him to turn it off. He then asked sarcastically who I was talking to, then threatened to beat me up. Another man came in not long before the end of the movie only to start constantly texting with his phone ringing out loud. If behavior like that can slide, then perhaps anything can. Plenty of theaters to go to when new movies come out, and this certainly isn't the one. read more

Went there Monday to watch a movie I wasn't e en interested in, lol. My partner wanted to see it. I wasn't aware at the time but I lost my wallet there. I thought I lost it at the restaurant/bar, but the didn't have it. I left work early and went there only for someone to have turned it in.and it was in their safe. I appreciate the ticket person as well because she was kind enough to go look. If anyone can tell me the name of the employer person who turned it in, I have something for them. read more

The seats were very comfortable, the theatre was clean (including the ladies room), the customer service at the register was very good and order was given to us in a timely manner. The chicken tenders were good but 4 for $11 is crazy, I could've passed on the garlic parm pretzels bites but the regular one's were good as usual. Next time we'll eat before the movie but we'll return. read more

This is the best spot around to go for a movie especially if it's in imax. Bathrooms are always clean, fast and friendly service at reception and entry. They also have a nice big service station for coke freestyle so you can get your drinks fast. Best place to park mid day is the shaded north side of the theater so your car isn't on fire when you come out. read more

Nice reclining chairs, however they do have some wear and tear that need to be addressed. The theater and lobby seems to be prettier and clean. Theater sound was really good. Picture quality was also really great. I got the cheese macaroni balls which were really tasty and yummy. The popcorn is the best over here. Fountain drinks are good as usual. Little pricey, but worth the visit. Got the tickets online, as I am a AMC Stub member, so got them little cheaper. They have even added a bar at this location for those who want to have a cocktail while enjoying a movie date or before the movie. Lot of free parking in front of the theatre. If you are ever in the area, stop by Southlake AMC you will definitely enjoy yourself. read more

This was my first visit to this location and compared to the other the police presence was comforting. Overall the inside was acceptable, and my green apple slushie was good. We had to get the attention of the workers to assist us at the concession due to whatever they may have been doing. There were only three workers behind the counter this night and it wasn't busy. However the chicken and fries were good! The seats themselves were comfy and the show was great! read more

Best movie selection, seats could use an update With 24 screens, AMC Southlake has almost every black movie that comes out. They also show movies longer than most other AMCs in Metro Atlanta. In October 2022, I was very disappointed that only 2 theaters (Southlake and Phipps) have the Emmitt Till movie (Till). Southlake also had the Harold Washington documentary (Press 9 for Harold Washington). I have only been to daytime movies at Southlake so I can't comment on how things are at night, but during the day the concession line is quick and the popcorn is fresh. The bathrooms are also clean during the day. This AMC had one of the first round of upgrades to reclining seats so they are not the same as the newer upgrades at Cumberland (updated around 2018-ish) or Madison Years which opened during the pandemic. As such, to be on par with other AMCs, Southlake is due a refresh as many of the seats are torn and tattered. Finally, parking is plentiful. All in all, I will continue to come here for the movie selection which I greatly appreciate!!! read more

I like the upgrades. The new reclining chairs greatly improve comfort. I'm happy the concession stand is fully operational again, although it inconveniently closes before the theater. That makes me feel the need to bring my own refreshments and snacks next time I come. It's HOT Wearing nothing more than a t-shirt up top, I'm sweating uncomfortably. Since the concession stand is closed, I have no way to solve this so I'm just waiting for the movie to conclude so I can leave. Total disappointment. read more

Not good is generous. Terrible is better. Security team appears to not notice teenagers and minors disturbing the movie. They were consistently walking and talking during the movie. At least 10 young, disrespectful people. The response was let us know and we will try to keep an eye out. Really?! Drive a little further or go during work hours for a better experience. This AMC doesn't invest in an orderly environment. Most people don't care about the theatre reviews, just the movie. But, the ticket cost is significant....they don't let you in for free. read more

Sticky floors but good place to watch a movie! Confusing food stand, where you purchase and pick up is very different areas.

In recent years this place has fallen by the wayside in terms of cleanliness. Once arriving in the movie theater, me and my friend discovered there was an molded plate of food sitting in front of our seats. The people sitting next to us, stated that they told staff who was going to get someone to pick it up. Roughly five minutes later, a woman whose shirt said security came and picked up the expired food. After the movie was done, I went to the restroom. To be honest, this bathroom was not clean at all. There was toilet tissue everywhere, the bathroom smelled of urine, & almost every stall was just bad. Outside of the bathroom there were pieces of skittles on the floor. It appears to me that this place is severely under staff to the point no one is cleaning the bathroom or movie theater after each showing. I still believe this place is good they just need to improve with cleaning up the bathrooms & theaters. read more

I have been on movie boycott since 1996, but every Blue Moon a loved one gets me to actually grace a movie theater. AMC Southlake 24 from my perspective is a pretty expletive nice theater, with a more intimate setting and nice reclining leather seats. The lobby is pleasant to the eye, nice, open and spacious and the food area has a nice array of waaaaaay overpriced goodies (That last piece is NOT isolated to this movie theater!)...Every staff member that I spoke with was super friendly and helpful. My only gripe has absolutely nothing to do with AMC 24 itself, but rather, the AT LEAST 4 inconsiderate, self-entitled, A##hats, that thought it was a good idea to bring a baby to the movies - REALLY!? read more

Enjoyed mom and son date day watching Fast n Furious. We went on a Thursday for the 5:30 p.m. movie. Only one person in each line in front of us to purchase tickets and food. Customer Service was excellent for both purchases as we were warmly greeted and I felt like a valued customer. Ordered our usual movie snack Popcorn and Icee. The popcorn is already prepared to grab and go. I recommend tasting it before purchasing. Our first one didn't taste that fresh maybe because it was slow and sitting there for awhile. The young man quickly exchanged it giving us a fresher one from the machine. Like having four Icee flavors to choose from. Icee and soda machines are located on two sides. There is also a small bar on the left with bartender to serve alcoholic drinks. Can't comment on that as I didn't have any. I found the food, restrooms, and overall theatre to be very clean. Also, recliner seats was quite comfortable. Would probably be best to buy your tickets online and select your seat if you're going during busy times. Decided to come see the movie Ma during the matinee time ($8.99) and I even treated myself to a small popcorn ($7.99) Before I entered the theater, I noticed my ticket had the wrong time I requested. I was informed to go to the customer service desk to have it corrected. Even though the employee acted like he didnt want to be at work, he fixed the error for me. This movie theatre is the worse I have ever been in. Cleanliness is non existent!!! Every counter top is sticky, floors sticky, theatre chairs dirty, garbage overflowing, bathrooms filthy!!! If the outside presentation of the main floor is dirty I can only imagine there's no cleanliness in the kitchen / food service area. The counters there were even sticky and dirty. I don't know how they would pass food safety. I asked for a wet wipe and the kitchen didn't even contain any SMH. The inattentive staff and customer service is non existent. I am hoping this is not the norm and I just caught them on a bad day. read more

Let me start with how overpriced movie theaters are . . . With that said I'm always looking for a bargain and this theater offers them. First show of the day is reduced, they give stub members extra deals. Once you get inside, all the food and drinks are overpriced. When ordering popcorn I prefer to have the butter layered however they have a self serve butter so you get a little popcorn, walk over to the butter station to put butter on it, walk back to have them add more popcorn and then back to the station to add butter. The one thing that we love is you have designated seats (although on this visit a "gentleman" was sitting in our seats and he proclaimed there's lots of empty seats for us to choose from). With the way the theater is set up, you are high enough in which you don't have to struggle to see over someone's head in front of you. The seats are recliners which allow you to get as comfortable as you want to be. However sometimes I've gotten a little too comfortable and have fallen asleep. Overall a nice theater, just make sure you bring your wallet!!! read more

I went to see infinity War the Avenger's movie this past Sunday morning. I like that the AMC theatres offer preassigned seating when you purchase a ticket. You have the option to purchase online, the kios outside of the movie theatre, or the box office. Parking there's plenty in this shopping center and also on in this shopping center and street you can find a lot options for pre or post eats before your movie. These options range from fast food to restaurants. I went with my mom. We got there just in time for the previews to start. The seats are comfortable and recline which is cool. I had a decent experience at this theatre for the most part. The only thing I have a problem with is this theatre policy on other moviegoers being louder than the movie itself. The policy is if someone is causing a disturbance or being too loud you can tell one of the staff. The staff will go inside theatre with security and ask the moviegoers to keep it down or leave. This is probably not the best way because if the movie goer is very upset they of course won't be happy with you telling on them. Well last November we went to see Marshall but 20 min into the movie a loud argument occurred this resulted in someone getting staff and security to escort the moviegoer out. When the movie ended maybe four people complained and the manager gave us vouchers for a free movie pass. This Sunday two people were very loud and at some points speaking over the movie. We told the staff and the manager after the movie ended. The manager said next time to let us know during the movie. I won't be returning because it seems like they theatre could have one staff person to routinely go in the movie to monitor because in some instances it could cause a confrontation to report someone behaving like they are in there living room. read more
