There was a steady stream of customers and phone calls for those of us doing our Christmas shopping. There were probably a few tourists, too, as Dees Pecans is a well-known destination for perfect pecans, pecan pies, candies, marinades, and other homemade treats. I checked the website and learned about the basic offerings, but once inside, I found out the storefront had so much more available. I ordered a Chocolate Pecan Pie, which Dees can ship in a custom tin to safeguard the pie to reach its destination. I added Dark Chocolate Pecans, Roasted and Salted Pecans, and another favorite, the Pecan Pie in a Jar. Lastly, I bought Key Lime Pecans and Cinnamon Pecans - two delicious powdered flavors!
