I was excited to try Soul Caffeine due to all of the good reviews, unfortunately I left a little disappointed on my quick stop for coffee this morning. The ambiance was cute and the shop seemed tightly, the workers were inviting and sweet. I ordered 2 coco loco lattes w/ oat milk iced, a bagel and an old fashioned donut ~ $30. However my order was messed up twice, first my drinks were made with whole milk (asked for oat, thankfully the barista acknowledged the mistake before I even grabbed my drinks), second, I received 2 cold brews I think? When I asked for a lattes :( The cold brews I received were very watered down and tasted artificial. read more

Stopped by this morning and while this place is clean, we'll decorated and offer a huge variety of coffee/drinks, it's a little dark in there. That is my literal only downside. That is my specific preference. There were several people in there at tables, reading with a table light or just chatting on a couch. Again, cute place. The staff was friendly and the coffee, while it was $7 for a latte, was amazing! I will be back to get that drink, and try others in the future. Great spot ladies! read more

This place is really cute, and I'm glad we stumbled across it. The inside has some cool vibes. The walls are all chalkboard with cute coffee themed drawings on them. There are couches and tables for whatever sitting arrangements you desire. I could see myself setting up to get some work done in here all day. The baristas are so sweet and helpful! They were very personable and helped to make sure we could have a table outside since our dog was with us. You can't bring pets inside but they are welcome to hangout with you out front! My iced cinnamon latte was AWESOME!!!!! So yummy! I def recommend this place if you find yourself in Fairhope. It's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, but once you try it, you'll definitely be coming back again. read more

We love coffee shops so just discovered this place. I was pretty impressed with their coffee, it tasted good and the service is outstanding, just the opposite of Starbucks. (sorry just totally not a fan of those guys) Sure it's a little more pricey than say a Dunkin but this is a locally owned and operated mom and pop operation that clearly takes a great deal of pride in this classic coffee shop. This placed is tucked away in a shopping plaza on Hwy 98 and is a clean, comfortable space with fast free Wifi and the drink and goodies are quite good. Of course the hot and cold brew coffees are good but there's lots of other choices too. Like the Red Velvet Frappe or a PeanutbutterCupLatte, yep had to have it, and a nice assortment of baked goods. My favorite is the eclair, very nicely done. Overall if it were in my neighborhood I would spend a lot of time here, it's pretty nice! Bottom line: Whether you just need a caffeine fix or satisfy your sweet tooth, or you just need a break from your day this is a nice spot. This is my first time here. The girl working the register was kind and recommended a chai latte. I told her I need some espresso in whatever I order because I'm studying for finals. She offered to add a shot to the chai latte, and if I didn't like the drink to let her know. Y'all. A chai latte is delicious, but this drink made me think of my late mother-- autumn nights around a bonfire with her years ago. It nearly made me cry, not joking. If you haven't given this place a try, you're missing out. Thankfully, Daphne isn't far from my current home in SF, so I plan to come back so long as I'm down here. Yum! read more

By far the best coffee I have found in the eastern shore. The coffee is smooth and flavorful. They have an inviting atmosphere and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I had the Nutella Latte, my husband had a Mocha, and both were delicious. Such a relief to find this gem. I have missed a good latte! Soul Caffeine has a great menu (as you can see in my pictures). They offer your coffee norms and then they have their signature lattes. They use quality coffee and ingredients which make their drinks amazing. An absolute gem of Alabama. This is my favorite coffee spot in all of every coffee spot I've ever been to, and I've lived in eight states. How anyone could not appreciate the service, atmosphere, and coffee is beyond me. The blend they use for their latte brews is absolute perfection and they always have the coolest seasonal drinks! Sometimes they even make cakes and slices to sell and they are a dream. Their bakers definitely know what they're doing and I always recommend having a scone, muffin, or even indulge in a cookie with your coffee. Soul Caffeine also has great cold brews and flavors to fall in love with. This coffee is not only good for your soul, but they help our local charities with their tips and sometimes host events. They also cater which is really cool. Every time I walk in here I get a breath of fresh air and divinity. Their message is happy and awakening. Do NOT pass up on this place even if it is slightly out of your way. I'm totally enamored with this little coffee shop, and I don't even drink coffee. Walking in, the walls are painted with chalkboard paint at the top. Different things, including drawings and the wifi password, are written on the walls in chalk. There's some pretty contemporary seating and a baby grand piano. There's also a little section in the back with a train table for the little tikes. The atmosphere is luring and comfortable. They have a great selection of hot and cold coffees and teas. My hubs had a Nutella frappe and I had an orange and lemon hot tea. The hubs got a homemade pop tart and I had an orange and cranberry scone. Our total was only about $12. It was all exceptional! The pastries came from Warehouse Bakery in Fairhope. We've wanted to check this place out for a while and we won't wait so long to come back! It's a pretty awesome place to be on a rainy Saturday. On a side note, one of the owners is the former associate pastor at our church. He preached some of the most interesting and entertaining sermons you could ever hear. read more
