After doing some research and measurements, I had a rough idea in my head of what I needed to do and the parts I needed. Since the bigger home improvement stores don't really carry any HVAC parts, I found Cooling Depot online. Upon walking in, I was greeted right away and helped by Abner. He brought me the parts I asked for, and then asked me about the project. Obviously I am not a duct person, and there were a few things I hadn't thought through when planning my project. Abner talked to us for 20-30 mins finding a better DIY solution and giving advice on how to do it. He made us a custom make-shift register box, and cut custom pieces of fiberglass board for us to build the duct. Throughout the whole process he was super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Abner, I successfully added the new duct. The a/c is working perfectly and providing air flow to my kitchen, and still flowing in my other rooms. Without his help, I could have ruined my whole HVAC system. Plus, this whole project cost me around $65, which is a steal considering the amazing advice I got along with it. If I ever need any other a/c parts, I will definitely be back!

The hardi board they used was so thin so I had to have that replaced with a thicker board. Just awful work. And took NO responsibility to repair or recommend a decent repair person.
