Diane is wonderful! I've been going to her for the past 10 years for laser hair removal and it's made such a huge difference in my life. It saves me time and energy not having to worry about another to do. My first treatment with her was for the underarms. The hair was very thick and even after shaving you could see the dark hair spots. I couldn't believe the results after the treatment! After six treatments it completely eliminated the hair and the dark spots, which is what I was concerned about the most. It's been at least 10 years since and hair is starting to grow back slowly, but not compared to what it was. All I need now is to touch it up and I'm good for another 10 years. I have been getting laser hair removal treatments and IPL photo facials from Diane at Refresh RX during 2012. I'm so glad I found them as they make you feel very comfortable -- it's not an intimidating or pretentious office. Diane herself is very chatty and friendly, yet professional and makes you feel relaxed and welcome and explains everything that she's going to do so you know what to expect. The office is on the second floor of the building and is nicely decorated in earth tones and is clean and modern and there are magazines to browse while you wait (Although I've never waited more than a few minutes for my appointment to come up). The front desk staff are also very nice and always remind you of your appointment with a phone call the day before. There is also ample free parking. These kinds of treatments do not come cheap, but Refresh RX seems to have fairly competitive prices and you definitely don't get that "We're only in it for the money" feeling from them, rather they genuinely care that their clients receive the results they want. They do call back and leave messages, but I'm typically in meetings and can't answer. A business should have someone available to answer the phone. I am so glad I found RefreshRX. First their customer service is outstanding from the time you walk in the door to the time you walk out....you feel special. They genuinely talk with you...it's not superficial or obligatory business chatter. The results are great....and they stand by their work. Microblading is an art, as well as a science. Martha will work on your brows until they are just right. I also had Sculptra. Although it takes a while to see significant changes....after 4 weeks I saw an improvement. Again, this is an art and a science....every person is different and age is a factor. (I'm older) Diane is amazing. They follow-up with you immediately and regularly. They respond to emails. I found refreshRx bc I originally wanted microneedling and the reviews on here were amazing. I've struggled with adult acne for the last 5 years. I'm getting married in January and I thought the wedding was the perfect reason to really start correcting my skin problems and removing the scaring. For the most part, I only get a few hormonal breakouts a month now.. but I am left with horrible red marks and scaring. When I met with Diane for the first time, she came across as very professional, calm, and she very clearly knew what she was doing. She recommend a course of IPL laser/photo facials bc she thought the redness was contributing more to the look of the scaring/texture of my skin and that if we cleared that up first.. we could see how many microneedling session were necessary. I've only had 2 IPL laser treatments so far, but it looks to be working amazingly. The redness is definitely calming down A LOT, it's about 60% gone. The existing acne and anything under the skin is healing much quicker. I think this has to do with the laser killing some bacteria. I've decided to do a silk peel facial and at least one or two more IPL treatments before I get into the microneedling. I'm beyond excited that I'm finally seeing results and to be at the care of someone who really knows what she's doing. I highly highly recommend this place. The receptionist has always been friendly and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes even if I'm early. Dianne is so knowledgable and professional and very personable.
