If you're looking for a relaxing and clean atmosphere where your skincare needs are tended to, then The Peel Parlour is great option! Jennifer was great at addressing my skincare needs and asked questions to customize the facial to my skincare goals. Her technique and the products she used had my face literally looking like glass when I left! I also received a scalp, neck and shoulder massage that was part of the treatment I chose. It made me feel so relaxed for the rest of the day. It was also easy to book an appointment online and and it was good to receive an appointment reminder a couple of days before. Looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I decided to get a relaxing facial to treat myself before a big event where i wanted to look my best.  I have never booked with Emme before so of course i was nervous. She put me immediately at ease with her warmth and friendliness. She made sure we were on the same page regarding the treatment before we entered the room and asked me all the pertinent questions before starting. She applied gentle but assured pressure throughout the treatment, as well as with  targeted massage aspects. My entire face and neck and shoulders felt wonderfully pampered and i was completely relaxed. I dont get facials regularly but i am booking again right now. Thank you, Emme! read more

I recently went to the Peel Parlour and the vibe before you even walk in is just so welcoming and peaceful. Jenni, the owner, is so incredibly knowledgeable of all things skin, skin care, etc. I had the pleasure of getting a firm tightening mask done by her lovely employee, Emme. She explained the process of the things we would be doing during my time there and made sure I was comfortable throughout every step. Emme also gave me a hand exfoliating treatment which left my hands feeling so soft and my skin looked rejuvenated! To top it all off, she gave me a head massage and I was so relaxed, I think I fell asleep for a minute. The bed was perfectly heated which was very soothing and the calming music being played was another nice touch for extra relaxation, not to mention the warm towels! I left feeling so refreshed and my skin was truly glowing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you Emme! I'm telling all of my family and friends to come to the Peel Parlour! Side note, Jenni stocks only the best products, I love the Face Reality cleanser and the TiZO tinted sunscreen! read more

First time client. I, and my daughter, had a fantastic facial by Jenni. Her studio, The Peel Parlour, is cozy and intimate. Not only was she very knowledgeable but It was refreshing to work with someone who gave honest feedback and didn't push product on us. She gave advice that didn't benefit her at all. THANK YOU, Jenni!!! read more

For my birthday I decided to treat myself to my first facial! After doing a little research around Poway, this woman owned small business called to me. Their clear affirmation of it being a safe and affirming space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people was already a wonderful sign before I even got there. I did an hour long custom facial since I didn't really have anything in particular I was focused on and really enjoyed the mix of face, neck and should massage through out. And all the products felt lovely on my skin. I definitely fell asleep for a minute during some sort of treatment that involved steam When I left my skin felt and looked lovely. Going out to lunch for my birthday with only eye makeup on to show it off. Should I decide that facials are part of my "treat yo self" routine, I will definitely return here. read more

The Peel Parlour - My skin looks and feels great! - Estheticians Near Me - Poway, California

Great experience and great human being! I've never done one of these treatments before but my fiancé's skin was radiant after going to Jennifer so she had me book a spot too. I've had mild scars on my back all my life and it was really cool to have a back-focused treatment. Great conversation throughout, and not even one day later my back looks like it is 15 years younger. Like, "wow" healthier. It's a great thing to help support small woman-owned businesses but it's even better when the service and results is just that damn good! Jennifer is the bomb! read more

I've now seen Jenni four times for peels, and I can't tell you how happy I am every single time! I've been fighting with my skin since I was 15, and monthly peels/facials have always helped me a ton. My previous girl I went to moved during Covid, and I hadn't yet found a new spot. A few months ago I decided it was finally time to buck up and find a new esthetician after going to a few other (well known) places that I didn't click with. I can honestly say I clicked with Jenni right away - she is knowledgable, personable, and above all, great at what she does. She listens to your concerns, makes appropriate recommendations, and is just so sweet. Her place is quiet, has adorable decor, and is relaxing, and the vibes are just perfect. You will not regret booking with Jenni, I can't recommend her enough! read more

I found The Peel Parlour through Yelp and made an appointment based on the reviews. Wow, I am so glad I did! I met Jenni today and she is very knowledgable and passionate about skin care. Upon arrival, Jenni warmly greeted me and since it was my first appointment, we spent time discussing my skin, current regimen, and goals. I ended up doing a custom facial and it was awesome. Jenni took the time to explain each step, what products she was using, and ensured I was comfortable throughout. I opted for a facial and light peel with a relaxing head, neck, and shoulder massage. Overall, I enjoyed my appointment and I'll definitely be back. Self care is important, and you'll be in great hands with Jenni! read more

I've had a more facials than I can count in my lifetime. The extraordinary ones are few, but my skin is problematic and maintenance is essential. I recently came to The Peel Parlour for the first time and was completely blown away. The location had easy parking, was easy to find, and the suite had a welcoming vibe. I was greeted by Jennifer and we were chatting like old friends in no time. She knew what questions to ask about my skin and I could tell she is definitely knowledgeable on the subject. She alone gets 5 full stars as a person! To say she's great is an understatement. Now for the good, the facial. My skin normally hates everything and is very congested. This usually means not feeling the lost comfortable for facials as well as painful extractions. I was somehow at peace the whole time, and her extraction technique was virtually painless (except for the nose but let's be real...that's never the fun part). I could have laid there for hours, I was so relaxed. Throughout the treatment I learned a plethora of things regarding my skin and skincare. She also took the time to show me how to use the products she sent me home with. Any questions I had (and there were tons) were answered. The real impressive part came after when I hopped in the car. I looked in the mirror and didn't see a big blotchy mess. My skin looked amazing!! How?? Not entirely sure, but it feels like magic; though it's probably talent. My skin is currently still glowy and soft. My skin looks brand spanking new, and I think I found my new esthetician! I cannot WAIT to go back. Though not much time has passed at all, I'm somewhat of a facial snob, and I can tell this is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and book with her please. If you don't have an amazing experience, you can come after me. But that won't happen. You're going to love it. read more

I felt like I was floating in a bed of clouds the entire time! The hydrating facial and chemical peel were much needed after months of being stuck at home. The shoulder, neck and arm massage was the cherry on top. I've never had a proper skin care routine so I enjoyed the consultation part of the treatment just as much. When I arrived, Jenni was in the process of disinfecting the entire room. She also wore gloves and a mask. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more
