It had me wondering if we were going to be stuck in the drive through for a bit. I was surprised by how efficient everything was as the workers were taking orders well ahead of the line which seemed to keep things moving. The menu has so many options I wasn't sure what to pick. I went with the Cherry Blossom Lemonade. Consisting of cherry and peach flavor in a lemonade. I chose a medium which was quite large and cost me less than 5 dollars. The drink was real tasty! I have been craving another. The ordering process was quick and easy. I think the overall time taken was a little under 10 minutes. Not much ambiance to be found as it's a drive up operation. They did have music playing and signage which initially confused me, as I thought you could get two medium drinks for 7 dollars. (Plus stickers!) the employee explained this is a special they have on the 7th of each month and it can get quite busy as who doesn't want discounts and free stickers?

I liked the service. I loved the food. Having greatly reduced the amount of salt I add to my cooking, I noticed a heavy hand in the catfish batter and in the potatoes. Since I had one more day left in Rochester and The Toast Factory was close to my hotel, I stopped in again for chicken and waffle. This scored 100 out of 10. The batter on the chicken wings was just right, not salty and not bland. The waffle was not sweet. This is a menu item I will plan to order whenever I return.

The dough was wonderfully flaky , and the filling was amazingly savory. I liked the spinach, and I'm not sure what type of cheese it was. But it played with the spinach perfectly it reminded me very much of a spanakopita, which I also love. The baklava was also excellent. It was perfectly flaky on the outside, and the honey, and the nuts inside were just fantastic. It is one of the better baklava that I have ever had. Now let's talk about the Turkish coffee. I've had Lebanese coffee, and I loved, and Ithought was strong.... the Turkish coffee makes Lebanese coffee taste like decaf that you would get from a cheap corner diner. With just a little bit of milk and sugar, it was perfect it was rich, and it was strong! At this point, I could probably make it to six hours to my destination without a car :). It came out warm and the baguette was crunchy, if a bit dense. Again, very little fresh veg on it which is usually the highlight of a banh mi. There was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce (unheard of on a banh mi!) and one or two sprigs of cilantro, along with the same sauce from the fresh spring rolls. It was a bit disappointing but at least it filled my belly. Couldn't find the waitress to ask for more water or napkins, so I made do with what I had.
