Came to this hidden gem in Chelsea for the first time yesterday to get a full set of mink lashes. The spa itself is luxurious and beautiful. There are 2 sides - one for eyelash services and one for facials/massage etc. Both sides are equally beautiful and relaxing. I had 120 mink lashes done. I absolutely adore how they came out. I can't express how much I love for this fantastic place. The eyelash artists are super patient and cordial to answer my questions and concerns. They give advice on styles based on the shape of my eyes, as well as tips on how to care for my lashes after I'm done. I remember when I did it for the first time, I was worried about whether the foreign body sensation would be bad after finishing the eyelashes. They blended well with my own lashes, though, without too much foreignness. Have to say the eyelash artists there are really skilled. Also! I have come here 6-7 times for my lashes. They do a good job, sometimes they don't use enough glue and can be slightly uneven but for the most part it's been consistently good. The issues are the manager always trying to pressure or coerce me to pay cash, so they don't have to pay taxes, it's uncomfortable and irritating. The last time, I waited outside the door for 10 minutes waiting fit someone to answer for my appointment, it was unacceptable and bad customer service. They didn't apologize for the total 20 minute wait. read more

I truly love this business and i feel bad leaving this kind of review but i have to be honest. I got a facial here and ended up with significant hyperpigmentation due to scarring from aggressive extractions. Had to get a facial bleach treatment to correct it. This type of extraction technique may work better on someone with less melanin but for me it was painful and i have no blackheads but now i have scars! read more

Don't go here for eyelash extensions. They put too much glue on the extension and caused me to have an allergic reaction. Also, lashes fell off pretty quickly. My real lashes fell off with the extension so I have a few bald spots in my eyelash area. read more

I loved my lash extensions initially, I went for a fill and they suggested a new set instead. I agreed, and in the "removal" of my original set, at one point I heard a snipping sound but I didn't think anything of it. That set of lashes is officially off, and I want to give my eyes a break. I went to do my makeup, and I SWEAR my eyelashes were cut. This has NEVER happened to me after eyelash extensions elsewhere, or I'd NEVER get them ever again. My lashes are all the same exact length (rarely happens w natural lashes) and I'm actually shocked. If this was a ploy to maintain a customer.....that's disgusting. I feel crazy claiming this, but I showed my roommates and they agree as well....this sucks! read more

I bought a Groupon deal for a facial and I was immediately charged an extra $5 for my Groupon voucher. Staff is friendly but It was the most painful facial I've ever had! The extractions hurt so much and she poked my face several times. This poking has caused my face to look horrible. I have over 50 dots/marks all over my face! I do not recommend this place. Absolutely wonderful reflexology by Charlie. I wouldn't thank him enough. He was completely focused and responded to my questions and really gave a great session. The Front Desk staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I am short, so when I asked for a pillow to prop myself up in the pedicure chair, they were super responsive and fast to provide a pillow :) The owner was on hand and also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I cannot recommend the salon enough. I plan to go weekly for reflexology (and with the sale they are having, it's a steal! It was only $38 with the current promotion for AN HOUR session! I like their lash extensions, really recommend, esp for Asian eyes. I get mine done in the softer lashes, I think mink. I ask for half way between thick and manga lashes, longest in the middle. Really pretty. Don't usually post reviews but I like them, cost around 200 with tip + bottom lashes + top lashes. Usually lasts around 3 to 4 weeks. read more

It feels so good to finally get a facial again. River is very experienced and so patient! She explained each step carefully in detail and didn't rush through them at all. Though the menu says 1 hour, the facial ended up longer than that which was really nice of River! The extraction was thorough and painless. The most horrible experience getting my lashes done. I went with a Groupon for 120per eye super mink lashes... I should have knew better than to go through with the service when the lash tech couldn't really speak English that well. I never was shown what product they was going to use. she only showed me what she expected to be done on my eyes. I told her I wanted a a very natural look. Now through out her applying my lashes. she was tugging very hard on my lashes. I though she was cutting the lashes. as she continue to further apply. I just felt that they were not mink lashes.... because when she was brushing them I could hear like plastic tugging from my eyes. I had those lashes before and mink done. Then lashes were eventually getting stuck together. This was very painful an uncomfortable at the point, on top of the manager continuing to go in an out the room. The manager put her hand on top of mind when she was tugging to separate lashes that kept getting stuck together. I started to get even more worried at the end when she offered me glue to apply to keep them on. I asked her how would I apply it. she then could not answer me how to apply the glue. she just keep saying you understand good. after seeing how un natural they looked and how one eye was fuller than the other!!!!. I was so disappoint to support a local business to obtain this service. I mentioned to the manager they are not mink lashes an how the did a false advertisement of a Groupon.
