Before we began, Nona asked all the right questions. She's professional and knowledgeable. She paid close attention to the areas that were bothering me but also worked on general relaxation. I. Was. Having two kids is life changing, but I love it so much! This review is for Andrea and Kuzu (Kuzu) no longer works there. I was able to see Modus through my (Kaiser) insurance at the time and I went only for fertility support during my rainbow journey. Since my pregnancy journey is over and I have two rainbow miracle babies, I am ready to share my short story. I have been pregnant 5X, lost 3, and gave birth to one rainbow girl in 2012 and one rainbow boy in 2019! With my last pregnancy, I was a nervous wreck and I didn't want to pay for IVF so I did my research. My neighbor suggested acupuncture as she struggled with m/c too and she had a successful pregnancy so I took her advice! Being an older mommy at 40, I was high risk and considered a geriatrics mom at Kaiser. I was lucky enough to be referred to an amazing RE, Dr. Rosenkratz @ Kaiser, and loved him so much!! I was so lucky to have seen him as it was perfect timing cause he left Kaiser and started his own practice a couple mothers after I got pregnant. As I mentioned, I was a nervous wreck! He really changed my world on top of Andrea and Kuzu. I really owe it to them as they were my wingman support team for my 2nd pregnancy. Prior to getting pregnant, Andrea suggested for me to try the "Whole 30 program" and I must have been super fertile cause I got pregnant at the end of the Whole 30 program. With RE, I had 5 polyps removed from my uterus, started to take supplements, and within 2 cycles I got pregnant and had a successful pregnancy. I stopped seeing Modus after my 2nd trimester. I was a nervous wreck the whole pregnancy but wanted to thank Andrea and Kuzu from the bottom of my heart for being my support team when I felt truly scared my whole entire pregnancy! I didn't feel at ease until I was able to carry my baby boy in my arms after he was born. I am truly blessed and my life is full of joy with a dream that came true! It was night time, so there was no light coming through the windows, but the low light in the treatment room, coupled with the soft music and trickling water was so soothing. My wife went first, and I was allowed to watch. The whole thing with energy centers, Tina feeling her feelings, and directing energy through different nodes around her body (with the assistance of several different kinds of objects) was something I wasn't used to, but after 30-40 minutes of treatment, she arose from the table refreshed and renewed. When Tina treated me next, I was a bit nervous, but once I closed my eyes, it was like every nerve in my body was numbed -- as if all the negativity just flowed out of my extremities. Word to the wise. If you're like me and have had emotional trauma in your life, prepare for a very sensitive experience. For me, part of the release from Tina's treatment flowed out in the form of emotional pain -- but not really in a bad way...it was like the pain of cracking a knuckle or stretching your muscles. GOOD pain, and a release for sure. At the end, I was a puddle and I think we drove home about 25 mph slower than the speed limit. I highly recommend Tina, especially if you're looking for an opportunity to de-stress, deal with trauma, or find a way to force yourself to decompress.
