Hi there! I am so bummed that I didn't write this review much earlier in the year, but life has been super busy with my new baby rainbow boy and rainbow girl. Having two kids is life changing, but I love it so much! This review is for Andrea and Kuzu (Kuzu) no longer works there. I was able to see Modus through my (Kaiser) insurance at the time and I went only for fertility support during my rainbow journey. Since my pregnancy journey is over and I have two rainbow miracle babies, I am ready to share my short story. I have been pregnant 5X, lost 3, and gave birth to one rainbow girl in 2012 and one rainbow boy in 2019! With my last pregnancy, I was a nervous wreck and I didn't want to pay for IVF so I did my research. My neighbor suggested acupuncture as she struggled with m/c too and she had a successful pregnancy so I took her advice! Being an older mommy at 40, I was high risk and considered a geriatrics mom at Kaiser. I was lucky enough to be referred to an amazing RE, Dr. Rosenkratz @ Kaiser, and loved him so much!! I was so lucky to have seen him as it was perfect timing cause he left Kaiser and started his own practice a couple mothers after I got pregnant. As I mentioned, I was a nervous wreck! He really changed my world on top of Andrea and Kuzu. I really owe it to them as they were my wingman support team for my 2nd pregnancy. Prior to getting pregnant, Andrea suggested for me to try the "Whole 30 program" and I must have been super fertile cause I got pregnant at the end of the Whole 30 program. With RE, I had 5 polyps removed from my uterus, started to take supplements, and within 2 cycles I got pregnant and had a successful pregnancy. I stopped seeing Modus after my 2nd trimester. I was a nervous wreck the whole pregnancy but wanted to thank Andrea and Kuzu from the bottom of my heart for being my support team when I felt truly scared my whole entire pregnancy! I didn't feel at ease until I was able to carry my baby boy in my arms after he was born. I am truly blessed and my life is full of joy with a dream that came true! By the time I went to Modus I had experienced two years of debilitating back pain which included countless doctor visits, physical therapy, pain management, chiropractic -- with very slow to no progress. Started seeing Andrea a few weeks ago for some very painful migraines and back pain. Andrea was excellent at listening to all of my health issues and what was going on with my body. I needed some relieve from my recent swelling of knee that go inflamed when i was on a trip to Asia so I happened by chance to google this acupuncture place in Costa Mesa. I scheduled an appointment last Sunday and so glad I went. Kuzu did an assessment on my troubled knee and told me the issues. He was able to do acupuncture, cupping and massages around the area and an overall body massages. I felt really good after that and that was exactly what I needed! Athletes!! I brought my 18 year old son here, desperately needing help with his injured rotator cuff. Even though he was nervous, Andrea was calm and walked him through the process. She used massage, E Stim, and cupping. What a miracle! The pain and swelling went down significantly.
