My builder cabinets are 16 years old and needed work. I decided on the refinish instead of new or refacing for several reasons. Mostly due to the fact I think it's a huge waste to remove perfectly good cabinets due to aesthetics. He had a box of stain samples and let me keep 1 to coordinate with new counter tops we were purchasing. Such a help!
