There was a small line but when I say the line was moving with swift proficiency-- holy cow! The woman scooping ice cream was fast, friendly, and really knew her way around the ice cream. Everything was amazing. We had six people in our party and everyone got what they wanted for under $40 (1 small cup, 4 medium cones, and 1 large cup). A great value especially in a vacation town. This would be our recommendation. We took our ice cream to go but there is plenty of seating on the deck out front.

See, my nephew's name is spelt this way. Not the typical most people spell Conner. We joked that we needed to drop him off or he'd be late for work. When we walked in here, it had that old time feel. More narrow than wide, but completely stocked with your needs, and then some. They even had a few items that were unique to them. They do have a small souvenir section that you can pick up a few things. My nephew got a magnet that bares his name. We spoke to the staff here and told them that his name is identical to the stores and they told us we weren't the first people in here that week with the same story. They also said that the magnets, little grocery bags with product in them, are made by an employee of the store. Such a great place to stop.

This charming spot is one of the many dessert gems on the island, and it's hands-down one of my favorites. The shop has a welcoming vibe, and it's always buzzing with excitement. The long line that snakes across the porch is proof of its popularity, but don't let that deter you--the staff here are pros at keeping things moving. They're always friendly, even when the line is packed, and they work tirelessly to make sure everyone gets their sweet fix as quickly as possible. What We Ordered: * Chocolate/Vanilla Soft Serve Swirl on a Cone * Chocolate Malt Shake with Oreos * Chocolate Nor'Easter (their take on a Blizzard, with Oreos and pecans) * Dark Chocolate Nor'Easter (loaded with chocolate sprinkles and chocolate chips) The star of the show is their ice cream which is so creamy, rich, and consistently delicious. The soft serve cone was a classic, perfectly swirled and smooth. The Chocolate Malt Shake was thick, indulgent, and packed with the perfect amount of Oreo crunch. The Nor'Easters stole the show for me. I love how you get to customize your toppings, and the way they swirl everything together ensures every bite is packed with flavor. The Chocolate Nor'Easter was a dreamy combination of Oreos and pecans, while the Dark Chocolate version was a chocoholic's paradise, with layers of chocolate sprinkles and chips for extra texture. Ocracoke Fudge and Ice Cream Shop has truly mastered the art of dessert. Whether you're stopping by for a quick cone or diving into one of their indulgent creations, you're guaranteed to leave happy.
