I had not been to Kingsburg in almost 3 years, so I parked at the beginning of the "old town" and…read morethis is the first store I encountered! They are located in the Kingsburg Village Mall, a small enclosed mall with small shops on either side and a new hard cider place in the back. The mall is hard to see if you are not looking for it, but it is currently next to a large empty lot (building burned a few years ago) and under a large shade tree. There - with those directions you can't miss it! The shop is run by a great couple, Tim and his wife (whom we shall call "Jo" for this review! ) and they have been at it for quite a little while now. Both are very welcoming, and I ended up chatting for quite a while, catching up on local news about the times that have passed, getting great tips for local food and cuisines, like sheep milk ice cream, and hearing about the opening of new stores, like the new Fools Craft Cider. Such local folks as Tim and Jo really bring a town like this to life, and I appreciated their time and stories. Their store offers many items for home and garden, and is a colorful collection of "kitsch" - I am using that word in a positive sense ( as in art or other objects that, generally speaking, appeal to popular rather than "high art" tastes) because what they offer is indeed something everyone would like - just good wholesome items for the house and garden. And if you don't have a garden, they have small ones you can buy and create for yourself indoors! Overall, I can not cover everything they offer - I hope some photos will give you an idea! The displays, I also found out, are mainly the artistry of Tim - he did a great job! My shop would have looked like a storage unit from hell, but he has a gift and it really shows! So, if you're in Kingsburg - with or without a garden - stop by and say "hi" - you may find something that calls to you!

Before coming, I'd suggest selling a kidney first. They only care about your money and not your pet. I was originally told it would be $120 for two baths, sanitary trims, and nails. I go in and they laid out a million additional fees and stated that they'd have to shave them because their undercoat was shedding out.. Not a big deal, I agreed to that. After they spent over 6 hrs there, I went to pick them up and was charged a bunch of additional fees for "behavioral issues". I asked what happened and they said one was anxious and moving around. I've been getting both dogs groomed regularly for 5 years and have always asked how they do. They have all told me that they were absolutely great but one gets anxious when separated. I told them that up front and they stated that they'd keep them together. When I showed up, they were both tied to a wall in separate rooms... I wonder why he was anxious? Then I get home and see that their toes are all bloody and chopped off. They also had nicks everywhere from the shears. After being there over 6 hrs, they got home and downed water so I'm sure they didn't have any ALL DAY. There wasnt any in the kennels or the wall that they were tied to. My dogs were also shaking like they were terrified when I picked them up. My dogs are very well behaved so I'd hate to see what they charge others who may not be. If I could give zero stars, I would.
