The fam popped in here for an early dinner. The view was fantastic and the food was really good. We had the bbq chicken pizza, shrimp basket and the Italian Beef. All of it was great, but the Italian beef stole the show. I added mozzarella and the spicy gardenia mix. It was served with homemade chips. Delish! The service was great! New to the area and read the reviews for this place and decided to stop in on a Saturday night. So glad we did! Husband had the king cut prime rib (Saturday special) and I had the Bourbon Steak Salad. The prime rib was perfection and salad super fresh. Both excellent! Good selection of beers on tap and bottle. I am sorry to report that Red's Rock N' Shore Pub has stumbled. Under the previous owners, Prime Rib Saturday was an "event", arriving before 6:00 pm was necessary to secure a seat, and your preferred cut of meat. Previously, the "large" cut Prime Rib dinner was just that; a full dinner. Today, the large cut is 50% thinner, costs approximately 25% more, the baked potato is the size and shape of a tennis ball, and there are no vegetables. Expect to pay $50.00 plus tip. This cost matches a Door County restaurant. Another "tell" was the lack of patrons. I would be surprised if the restaurant was 25% full by 7:00 pm when in the past people populated the bar waiting for a table. Finally, the wait staff was slow and inattentive. Patrons were not offered service on a first-come, first-served basis. In summary, Red's food and service have degraded and it is now just another Kewaunee County burger restaurant. read more

My wife and I went for Fish Fry Friday. We shared a fried perch fish dinner and had a couple of beers. We felt that the portion size was fine for one person but it was small for sharing and small for the price. The fish was good and hot. We ordered the red potatoes as a side. It was two very small red potatoes. The slaw and tartar sauce were both tasty. We ordered two drafts. I had a Spotted Cow my wife had a Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. I thought the price was a bit high at $6 each; especially when we had the same beers yesterday at another place for $4 each. The beers were also not as cold as I would have liked. Great service, pretty speedy, decent selection of drinks. The salmon salad is delicious, especially with the lemon garlic aoli as dressing. It has a comfy vibe, not too formal but not grungy either. The view is also incredible! read more

We like going on little adventures for fish on Friday's from time to time. We came all the way out here from Green Bay based off of the good reviews. What a gem! I love all the décor in here with the art on the walls (love those wood squirrels) to a surprising amount of vintage arcade games. A solid old fashion to start the meal after a long week. The food itself was quickly delivered and really good. I liked the unique breading on the perch and the baked potato hit the spot. Not only was service prompt but she was really nice. I like my wings wet and spicy buffalo style, just like they are served at Red's. When I first saw Red's from the outside, my expectations were low. Looks can be deceiving. Inside are some of the best wings I have found in the area. The place is old but well maintained and comfortable inside. Service was excellent and the was clean. Prices were very reasonable and if you like a cold beer with your wings, they have that as well. I chose my wings buffalo style wet and I loved them. They satisfied my wings cravings. This place has been on my radar for quite a while. Our company orders out from here a lot and I heard the food was good. Recommendations were the fish and hamburgers. My wife and I came in about 4 on a Friday. there were a few people at the bar. Most of the tables were empty so we sat at a table. We were expecting the place to be divey, but it was not. Nice wooden floors and tasteful décor give Red's a supper club feel. The view of Lake Michigan is stunning if you those to sit by the window. Our waitress greeted us immediately after we were seated. I ordered the special. A burger with smoked gouda cheese and chipotle ranch dressing. This came with an order of homemade fries. My wife ordered the fish. Our order was up in a reasonable amount of time. The hamburger was huge by most standards. I could hardly open my mouth wide enough to take a bite. The burger was probably 1/3 pound. It was juicy and seasoned perfectly. It was served on a toasted hoagie bun with lettuce, tomato, onions, smoked gouda cheese, and the chipotle ranch dressing. This was a very good hamburger worthy of all the hype. It was served with a basket of fries. They were homemade, deep fried to a golden brown. Not the least bit oily. I sampled a piece of fish. The cod was tender and flakey. The batter was light and crispy. This little gem just out our back door will see us again. read more

This place was meh for us. I got a very disappointing tiny piece of fried cod in a square shape. Pretty sure it was from a frozen section of a grocery store. The hubby got a Philly cheese type sandwich (can't remember the name) that was medium sized but he said it was good. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, five tables plus some people at the bar. Their was only one gal working (including bar tending) and she was great, kept everyone's drinks full and checked back often. We had the Italian Beef sandwich and Pot Roast Sandwich, both we're good, the bread was perfect. Also tried the deep fried cheese curds, yum! Would definitely recommend, good service, fast service and good food. It was foggy so no lake view but that's just weather. read more

while yelping for places for lunch and a beer we came across reds pub. we gazed at the menu using yelp and decided this would be an ok pit stop. it was busy the night we came, but we were able to sit at the bar right away. it took about 10 mins for our appetizer sampler, and about 45 mins for our pork ribeye sandwich. might have been a long wait but the place only have a couple waitresses and a bartender serving. regardless the pork ribeye was tasty. i think the appetizer plate could have used some work being it is 10.00. "chippers" shouldnt count as an item for they just are basic chips. could have used more than 2 jalapeno poppers and only a couple cheese curds. oh well you win some you lose some. i would stop in here again for a drink and a snack read more

On the outside Red's looks like a run down hole in the wall bar. However, beyond its weathered exterior is a clean dining room, friendly staff, and excellent food. If you are someone that doesn't judge by looks then Red's is a perfect choice. read more

Surprisingly wonderful food. Service was quick for the crowd that was in there. Menu is upscale for a bar & grill. Food was cooked perfect. The yellow fish tuna with mango salsa & pineapple was a wonderful surprise. Fish was done perfect & flavors popped. Asparagus was great-cooked perfect & not woody. What a gem! Everything about this restaurant is great. It far exceeded any expectation. We had the open face which was done to perfection, accompanied with the best French fries I've ever had.
