After looking at all of the awesome reviews via Yelp, I decided to give this nail spot a shot. They have the Nugenesis gel dip powder system. The last place I went to was ok but I felt the shape was a little thick for my taste. Not the case here! Me and my friend went here for manicures yesterday afternoon. We were amazed that everyone was very kind, accommodating, and were genuinely good people. My friend recently lost her husband and the staff was incredibly empathetic. Not to mention--we received one of the best gel manicures we've ever had. They had a wide variety of polish colors, used Tweezerman tools, and were very gentle. My friend said it's the first time she hasn't felt pain while her cuticles were being trimmed. Workers are rude. Nails chip or break quickly plus it's WAY overpriced. I would not suggest this place to anyone.

Poor customer service. Walked in and didn't get greeted until after sitting in their waiting area for 7 minutes. Though, as other customers walked in they got greeted immediately as soon as they walked through the door so I don't know if they had some sort of impression against me already or what but this was my first time in their store. Will definitely not be going back and will tell everyone I know in the Overland Park, Leawood, Lenexa, and Olathe area to not visit their store. read more

Every where else was busy so I decided to come here. There was a 20 minute wait which was fine. After the wait the tech who did my nails took a phone call on her personal phone from her mother and yelled at the others employees to direct them. After she was finished the price of my service was higher than other salons in town. Not much $5 or $10 difference which would have been fine but my gel chipped after a week. I have been getting my nails done with acrylic and gel on top for two years and never had the gel chip even after three weeks. All of these things together made my experience unpleasant. My regular Nail stylist recently sold her shop so I had to find some place new. A friend recommended redPOiSH. I was very satisfied the way my toes came out thanks to Simon. I told him that i was extremely ticklish and he took care as not to make it too bad.. :) Cherie did my fill. She did a great job. Be prepared for a wait and don't bother making an appointment. I have made appointments the last three times I was there and had to wait more than 15 minutes each time. The owner was fully aware and made no apologies about it. Customer service is bad. I guess business is good enough that they don't need more customers. I will not be going back. read more

My teenage daughter went in here last week because our regular salon was booked. She asked how much for a fill, they told her $25. As they worked on her, they kept telling her they had to do something different, or asked her if what they were doing was OK. She didn't fully understand what they were asking her...but when they were done, they charged her $60. 4 days later, 1 of her nails had already fallen off, and another was about to. She went back, and instead of fixing the 2 nails, they did something strange to all of them. She came home with what looked/felt like nail glue on her nails, and they looked terrible. She's a little timid about standing up for herself, so I went back in with her to ask them to either refund her, or redo them. And I was very nice...I'm a firm believer in catching more flies with honey than vinegar! The woman we spoke to was INCREDIBLY rude. She never once apologized for the poor work, the amount of time we had to spend getting the issue fixed, or taking advantage of a kid who didn't understand them. She said she could not refund her, as her nail tech had already spent the time working on her. I said that was fine, but that they should at least redo her nails. They maintained that nothing was wrong, even when we showed them the issues with the nails. They finally agreed to redo her nails, but told us she would not be welcomed to return there. Well, needless to say, we were fine with that. A place that cannot back up their work (especially when it is sub-par), or bans you from returning if you feel you haven't gotten what you paid for, does not deserve our business anyway. read more
