Just opened my furnace filter compartment from the last visit by quality heating in January to…read morereplace my filter. Was shocked to find a 1" filter in a 5" slot. What the heck? Called for a remedy and to try and understand and the gal said "oh that's no problem!" and I was like "it's a problem, I don't understand why the wrong filter is installed". She said they didn't charge for the filter and they could send someone out to fix but they would need to charge for the correct filter. I said "let me get this right, you put in the wrong filter and now you want to come back and put in the correct filter, but I have to pay for it?" She said maybe the smaller filter was placed as a temporary filter. But it wasn't noted and if it was temporary it's been close to 5 months so she apologized for the mistake but was unwilling to do anything meaningful. I asked if there was anything they could do and she kept saying they could install the correct filter as a cost. So I'm done with these guys. Installing a 1" filter in a 5" slot can do damage to a furnace. It doesn't seal properly and the surface area of filter is 4-10x less - so it clogs up much much faster.

This is our experience with this company. They put in an upgraded new fireplace with a remote…read morecontrol in 2023. It never worked properly. To fix it, they sent out a technician who admitted he had never worked on that type of fireplace. He did get it working but when he left it quit working again. When we complained, they said that we just don't know how to run the remote. OK, then did they send out someone to show us how to run the remote? Of course not. We had another company come out to try to fix it but they had no experience with it either and put in a new valve. When the propane supplier (Ed's) inspected the fireplace, we were advised to not run the fireplace until it was fixed properly. We are now working with a third company to fix it properly. This "upgraded" fireplace has not worked properly.
