I'm a tenant at a house Jason and his team worked at. They were were the most unprofessional, unresponsive, mediocre company I have ever dealt with. He left an apprentice of his replacing two AC units and not once did he do a walk through to check the work done. The ac tech struggled the entire time in every way you can think of, from removing the old unit and scrapping the door frame to installing the new one. The tech took longer than anticipated because he seemed to either work slow as he was" just learning" according to Jason. The worker picked up the big pieces of debris but never vacuumed leaving all kinds of fiber glass and dirt. He Left dirty finger prints all over the access door. He Left screws around the unit where my kids play basketball. He used the old rusted screw on the anchor outside which was there before. I mean seriously, you're so mediocre you won't even use a new screw! That night My furnace went out in the middle of a 30 degree night here in Temecula due to his worker moving the furnace door, therefore it shut off when it completely came off- like I said he struggled the entire time, it was clear it was a two man job especially being "new". My landlord brought him out here the following day because we didn't know what was wrong with the furnace, there we found out that he door was dislodged, so the the same tech had the bright idea to screwed on the door, which never needed to be screwed on before they worked upstairs- it was perfectly fine. He left never apologized. A few days later the furnace began making a noise as it turned on the landlord brought them out AGAIN. They said I was hearing things. I brought up the fact that they left their job site dirty including the nasty hand prints and he said nothing and still didn't clean it. This company is a joke and Jason is the main clown followed by the other one. I'd also like to mention that the tech went into my boys restroom and took a dump, which I was so disgusted and upset since he never asked me to use it. I would've been ok if he'd asked first, but just the fact that he just overstepped. I was disgusted and had to clean and disinfect it. I called Jason to see if he could give me a quote for a new A/C unit which mine had gone out last summer which was miserable. I found an ad in a mailer and called a few different companies. Two days after we signed the contract, the units were installed. All units were Lennox brands from AC Pro. Our HVAC system quit last month. I called and They came out the next morning and got it going for us at a very reasonable price. However, a few days later the motor quit while Jason was out of town. He promised to come by as soon as he got back in town. We spent a few hot days sitting in front of a fan, but he was true to his promise and even gave us a huge discount on the repair. Yeah, as good as it gets! Jason (and his apprentice, Marcus) went totally above and beyond. My air conditioner compressor went out on Sunday night, so I called him. Yes, Sunday evening! He took my call, made an appointment to look over my problem the next morning. He came as promised (texted before he showed up), looked over everything, spent a LONG time doing diagnostics -- while I sat there and watched and asked questions -- came to a conclusion and gave me a price and time. For a flat fee, which would include parts, labor, extras, taxes, he would put in a new compressor and get my system up and running. Today he brought the new compressor, and then spent almost 5 hours doing the deed! He went completely over my entire HVAC system -- took it apart, removed and cleaned all the coils and evaporators and motors, and then checked it thoroughly. So now I'm cool, cool, cool, it's running beautifully, and I really expect to sleep better tonight (because all the dust and gunk in the system has been cleaned out) and I expect my electrical bill to be much less. I was told by another a/c tech that I needed a new a/c unit for my upstairs system. Well, the unit finally died or so I thought. I had budgeted over $4,500.00 for a new a/c. We called Redhawk Mechanical after dealing with an AC that wouldn't cool the house. We previously called "We Care," but they only cared about replacing the entire AC system for $10-15,000... needless to say, we weren't ready for that. Jason and his son came out to look at our system, checked for leaks, and then recharged our system. Now the air blows at a comfortable 55 degrees. Called Jason and he was able to come the next day, which was great, but did not mention anything about an extra charge for an "emergency call out" I had just requested he come out when he was available. Quickly diagnosed the problem, and had the parts on the truck to fix the unit and was done in less than 40 minutes. Disappointed that no quote was given before the repair was started, that should be standard business practice, and then I was told it was $450 to replace a condenser fan motor and capacitor, maybe $120 of that was parts, and the remaining $330 was for the 40 minute service call with the "emergency call out" I didn't request in the first place..... And the wiring for the motor direction and ground are sticking out the top of the unit, which he said is normal, but seems that it could easily be put inside the unit so it doesn't get damaged. Once again, actual repair was done quickly and correctly, which was great, but the cost was excessive and no quote was given before the repair was performed, which is not right. read more
