I decided to try this place after reading all of the great reviews. It sounded like a cool vibe with fun decor. Good coffee is always an added bonus as well, LOL. I usually stop for a cappuccino once a week at Starbucks, so I rolled by here instead. The place was crowded but still had plenty of seats. I got a nonfat cappuccino as planned. I was taken aback by the snobby attitude of the guy at the register. So much that I almost cancelled my order. He seemed rather put out that I didn't get one of the fancier espresso beverages nor something to eat. I found a spot on a sofa to wait while they made it and chatted with some other customers. Loved that everyone was friendly. There were games and wifi too. The barista was really friendly and down to earth, and brought my cap with a smile. It was great coffee with the perfect taste and level of foam. Much better than Starbucks and the price was reasonable. I'd definitely come back but next time hope that the guy gets his nose out of the air. :) read more

My kids and I loved the experience, people, and beverages. The atmosphere is warming, beautiful, open, bright, and comfortable. At the time of our arrival, it was busy but the staff kept the line moving efficiently. The person who took my order was pleasant and helpful with my questions, offering solutions and recommendations to accommodate my dietary requests. Checked this shop out after seeing it on Yelp. Looks unassuming from the outside but Definitely did not disappoint!! Has a great vibe, very warm & welcoming atmosphere, reminded me of FRIENDS:) The staff are awesome and I've loved everything I've tried (yes I've been back a few times) the lavender latte is my favorite (hot or cold - both are delicious) I've tried their pastries as well and I'm convinced they're all homemade! I have been a regular to Redefined Coffee house and regularly get their teas, coffee and syrups to take home to enjoy. However the last few times I have been here the service has been terrible, which is really unusual. Today I asked for a napkin and was directed to the napkin holder on the bar which I pointed out was empty. I was then told if I could wait a bit she would get to it. I have been waiting for 30 minutes and only one person has come in during this time. The people I asked have been chatting behind the bar and a couple have now gone on break. I realize that during these COVID times we all deserve a little patience but I think that good customer service should still apply. read more

This is probably the most visually beautiful and interesting coffee shop in the area. The decor is very creative and clean. So inviting. I could hang out for hours...and people do. Ok. This place is amazing. Not only do they have the BEST almond milk chai latte around these parts, but you seriously just feel like making up reasons to come to this place. Not only because of the wonderful people working here, but because the esthetic of this gathering place is absolutely gorgeous. Every nook and cranny has something interesting to look at, and no matter which seat you find, it's guaranteed to be comfy and feel simply warm and inviting. I love it here and although it's out of the way, I make the effort to come. I'm from Seattle where there is a coffee shop on every block (sometimes 3 or 5 on a single block!) so to me it means everything to find a place that would fit right in back home. read more

Fantastic new building! And even better coffee with a very distinct chocolaty roast. Only 1 register for what was a long growing lunch line, and only 2 employees helping upfront. I asked for just 1 shot of espresso, the lady had no idea if that was possible or what the price was or how to offer it... Menu only has an option for a double espresso which was $2.50 (additional shot for .50¢); that's understandable. However, I only wanted a single shot. Maybe marketing and ownership should "Redefine" the menu and price of 1 shot of espresso aka a single for .99¢. If I could slap down a 1 dollar bill for a single espresso you'd have all my business and appreciation. As a frequent Europa traveler single espressos are only €1.00 not a cent more... Cappuccino's €2.00; be more like Europe please! I'd still recommend this place to anyone and love it so! Keep up the good work and service! read more

I had just come back to town for the first time in years to recover from a somewhat traumatic event and walking into this coffee shop became the best choice I could have ever made. The ambiance is perfect. Not too crowded but sociable. Probably great for studying or meeting with a friend. The baristas are probably the best part. I was amazed to find that they had rose flavoring and chai lattes so of course I had to order a rose chai latte (if you're going to order this, you HAVE to tip well and keep an open mind. It's a tough drink to make!). The barista warned me that it was one of the most challenging drinks to make and it might not turn out properly but she'd try it... let me assure you, it was heaven. Decadence in a cup. The epitome of luxury caffeination. I wanted to weep tears of joy as I sipped it and it erased my sadness but, of course, I was in a coffee shop and that would have freaked some people out. I'm not even exaggerating. Honestly, it was such a chill place. Extremely good coffee. I got an iced matcha and i was surprised. Not many places get matcha right. The flavor was neither too sweet nor too simple. I can't say enough good things about this place! My husband and I are in here almost every day. The drinks are perfectly crafted. I am addicted to nonfat vanilla lattes, but their lavender flat white, Yama cold brew, and every thing else I have tried is perfect. They have a gluten-free cinnamon roll that is quite tasty. With the exception of Buon Giorno, Redefined is perhaps the best craft coffee option in this part of the metroplex. Granted, the options are fairly limited in this area. Redefined boasts serious espresso, dark house brew, a wide variety of pastry and food offerings, and an uplifting, friendly environment that's sure to accent your coffee experience. My main critique is two fold: at times the crowd is a bit too family family for my preferences, meaning that it's a little distracting for those attempting to work or study, and secondly, the aesthetic is fairly generic and attempts to be modern and clean, when I often find a more organic, raw feel more conducive to coffee drinking and studying or catching up with friends or clients. Take that with a grain of salt, however. The coffee is still worth the trip. read more

Finally! An excellent espresso shop in Southlake area. Redefined uses locally roasted, Avoca beans and an beautiful shiny Italian espresso machine to pull shots that taste amazing. Yesterday we had a double shot with the Magwai beans, which have flavor notes of cherry, chocolate, and chile. It was excellent. The double shot comes with a small glass of sparkling water, a nice touch. I had a cappuccino with decaf Colombian beans (sadly can't do caff right now). It is almost impossible to find a decaf that has nutty, buttery flavor notes, but this one does! They sell Avoca beans and have 4-5 choices including decaf. Very nice place to sit and relax. The baristas are very knowledgeable. read more

I live in the area, and until a friend mentioned this coffee shop to me last week, I had no idea of its existence. I used to be a fan and avid goer of a leading coffee franchise, but after going here Saturday for the first time, and again this morning, no more am I a fan of the other place, b/c I clearly did not know what GREAT coffee tasted like... My fave drink is a van latte, and when I had it here, I tasted the purity of the beans as well as the house made syrup - unbelievable experience both times. I just also found out they have a rewards program - wish I knew abt it on my first visit - but next time I go I will be signing up! It's a nice space, which is appreciated, we have been several times and the coffee is ok at the best of times and then there are times likes today when it's just poor. The drinks just tend to be very watery. I had a pour over and while I know it tends to have less fines than a French press, it was just really bland. My wife and sister said their latte drinks were very watery, threw them out after a couple sips. I think this is a good wework type space, seems to be a very relaxing vibe with a lot of space to spread out, but I don't think the coffee is up to snuff. read more

Finally a great local coffee shop that I WANT to hang out at! Been meaning to try this place out for years, but Grapevine's a bit of a jaunt for me, so I always put it off. I wish I hadn't for so long! I lived in Denver for a couple of years (a city known for it's coffee), and I kept telling my husband that Redefined reminded me of a coffee shop in Denver. I had an iced latte and he had the iced Bhakti (which we LOVE and to our knowledge, no other coffee shop around here has)!!! He also tried the berry crumble and oh my, oh my! What a great dessert!
