Just an excellent place to be at. Great atmosphere with no judgement as to what the patrons are like! All kinds are accepted at this shop! I mean after all it is owned by a football player! It doesn't get any further from what would be "expected" than that, as with any coffee house the coffee or specialty drinks are only as good as the barista making them my experience was pleasant enough both times I went in my time in TX. My ONLY suggestion would be to increase the to go cup size just a tad! I'm a quad shot with almond milk kinda guy and in a 12 oz cup that can be a bit to much of a kickstart so if 4.75 stars existed I may have gone that route, lol!! Nonetheless it was a pleasant surprise to find in the cool little town of Grapevine! read more

The atmosphere is exactly what I love in a chill coffee shop. It's perfect for reading or studying. The coffee is great! The tea is wonderful. And the food items are tasty. It gets crowded and the hours are short + closed on Sunday... if those are my only complaints, it's truly not that bad! read more

I decided to try this place after reading all of the great reviews. It sounded like a cool vibe with fun decor. Good coffee is always an added bonus as well, LOL. I usually stop for a cappuccino once a week at Starbucks, so I rolled by here instead. The place was crowded but still had plenty of seats. I got a nonfat cappuccino as planned. I was taken aback by the snobby attitude of the guy at the register. So much that I almost cancelled my order. He seemed rather put out that I didn't get one of the fancier espresso beverages nor something to eat. I found a spot on a sofa to wait while they made it and chatted with some other customers. Loved that everyone was friendly. There were games and wifi too. The barista was really friendly and down to earth, and brought my cap with a smile. It was great coffee with the perfect taste and level of foam. Much better than Starbucks and the price was reasonable. I'd definitely come back but next time hope that the guy gets his nose out of the air. :) read more

This place was suggested to me. They must have good coffee but unfortunately I came on a Sunday and they were closed. I guess I should have checked the times right. Well I didn't I had not had my morning coffee yet. Now I have to go a Starbucks. Yay Starbucks. read more

Redefined Coffee House - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

I used to love redefined but I've honestly had enough. The parking is trash, never anywhere to park. The coffee? Overpriced and not even that good. The community rooms? OVERPRICED. The funniest part is this a "christian coffee shop" yet everything's overpriced. Get real. read more

AMAZING house made syrups. I had a rosemary latte for the first time and it was pure HEAVEN.

Yes, go there. Cosy modern ambiance. Excellent coffee. Was driving through town on a trip with my husband and had the nicest experience there when a local man offered to buy us our coffees! That is the Texas hospitality! Thank you again stranger, you made my day. read more

The coffee is spot on and if you can find seating in the side rooms, this is a great ambiance for studying! It can get pretty busy, but the treats and coffee are worth it! They have lots of diet specific options (GF muffins, etc) and a cool vibe. read more

This is probably the most visually beautiful and interesting coffee shop in the area. The decor is very creative and clean. So inviting. I could hang out for hours...and people do. They take great pride in their coffee practices. The staff is very friendly. I had an issue with my scone, and the owner himself made it right without missing a beat. read more

Finally, a local European vs Portland style hipster hangout in the middle of suburbia! Great non-chain ambiance. Nice music usually pumping. Good and plentiful wait staff. One of the owners is frequently hanging out there. Coffee/drinks are fine. We walk here all the time. You should too! read more

Great Atmosphere and place to catch up with a friend! Plenty of seating. read more

I am from out of town and was searching for a cozy coffee shop to relax and read. I found this place on Yelp and figured I would try it out. I am in love! I had the sausage brioche and their hot chocolate (chip). Both amazing and the staff was so friendly with everyone! The atmosphere is very inviting and there are so many chairs and couches. Wish I lived in the area because this would be my go-to spot! read more

Best.Coffee.Ever. Seriously everything about this place is just amazing. Coffee, furniture, baristas, music. What more can you wish for. read more

Ok, love the coffee.. but wait times are horrible. No sense of urgency whatsoever. Enough to make me not want to come back. It's a shame. When it is a rainy day, baristas need to have more of a sense of eagerness. read more

They have amazing house flavors. I highly recommend an iced latte with mint and lavender. So. Damn. Good!!!!

This place is pretentious af. The coffee sucks and the people suck. Too expensive and only cause of the overly fancy flooring and decor. Packed to the brim with hipsters drinking hot chocolate and pretending to work on their MacBooks. Would not return. 1/10. read more

LOVED everything about this place. The atmosphere was amazing, nice and cozy. The coffee was good and the staff was friendly. Found my new coffee shop! read more

Redefined Coffee House - Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

Enjoyed the atmosphere. The establishment had a nice out of the way feel and a very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately my cappuccino tasted more on the burnt side. Outside of this, it is a rather great shop. Update: After reading my review, the owner messaged me informing me that the boiler had been running hot the day that I had originally visited. This just further goes to prove the quality of workers at this coffee shop. I'm glad to have a coffee shop of this level so close to home. read more

Finally! An excellent espresso shop in Southlake area. Redefined uses locally roasted, Avoca beans and an beautiful shiny Italian espresso machine to pull shots that taste amazing. Yesterday we had a double shot with the Magwai beans, which have flavor notes of cherry, chocolate, and chile. It was excellent. The double shot comes with a small glass of sparkling water, a nice touch. I had a cappuccino with decaf Colombian beans (sadly can't do caff right now). It is almost impossible to find a decaf that has nutty, buttery flavor notes, but this one does! They sell Avoca beans and have 4-5 choices including decaf. Very nice place to sit and relax. The baristas are very knowledgeable. read more

Redefined Coffee House - 8 oz & 12 oz Vanilla Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

I live in the area, and until a friend mentioned this coffee shop to me last week, I had no idea of its existence. I used to be a fan and avid goer of a leading coffee franchise, but after going here Saturday for the first time, and again this morning, no more am I a fan of the other place, b/c I clearly did not know what GREAT coffee tasted like... My fave drink is a van latte, and when I had it here, I tasted the purity of the beans as well as the house made syrup - unbelievable experience both times. I just also found out they have a rewards program - wish I knew abt it on my first visit - but next time I go I will be signing up! I love, love the ambiance - it truly is an amazing place with a friendly staff. I am eager to try other drinks like hot choc, the choc chip mocha - the list is endless. read more

My kids and I loved the experience, people, and beverages. The atmosphere is warming, beautiful, open, bright, and comfortable. At the time of our arrival, it was busy but the staff kept the line moving efficiently. The person who took my order was pleasant and helpful with my questions, offering solutions and recommendations to accommodate my dietary requests. My kids thought the hot chocolate is the best they have ever had at the perfect temperature. We did not wait long for our order to be ready. There should be more coffee shops like this one. Thank you RE:defined!!! read more

Checked this shop out after seeing it on Yelp. Looks unassuming from the outside but Definitely did not disappoint!! Has a great vibe, very warm & welcoming atmosphere, reminded me of FRIENDS:) The staff are awesome and I've loved everything I've tried (yes I've been back a few times) the lavender latte is my favorite (hot or cold - both are delicious) I've tried their pastries as well and I'm convinced they're all homemade! This place is a true gem!! read more

The decor is amazing and prices are comparable. But latte and cappuccino were both pretty weak/light.

Cute coffee house. Chill vibe. My kids and I came in the middle of the week and it was busy and full, which I loved seeing! Way better than going to Starbucks! Service was good. We loved the gluten free treats!! We had the GF blueberry lemon bread and the blueberry crisp! Both were great. My coffee was perfect. Not a super kid friendly place, but we were in and out. read more

This was a great little coffee shop! Delicious salted caramel latte! My only complaint is the biggest coffee was still a smaller size (12 oz). read more

Amazing coffee and customer service make this place a regular stoppage for my coffee needs. Give them a visit.

I really miss the original spot... The funky intimate location was a break from the norm... The new location has lost that vibe... Upon walking in, it seemed more like a restaurant or a average coffee shop... The huge fireplace has been replaced by a tiny tiny one the very back... Gave it 3 stars for being average... read more

I have been a regular to Redefined Coffee house and regularly get their teas, coffee and syrups to take home to enjoy. However the last few times I have been here the service has been terrible, which is really unusual. Today I asked for a napkin and was directed to the napkin holder on the bar which I pointed out was empty. I was then told if I could wait a bit she would get to it. I have been waiting for 30 minutes and only one person has come in during this time. The people I asked have been chatting behind the bar and a couple have now gone on break. I realize that during these COVID times we all deserve a little patience but I think that good customer service should still apply. read more

Ok. This place is amazing. Not only do they have the BEST almond milk chai latte around these parts, but you seriously just feel like making up reasons to come to this place. Not only because of the wonderful people working here, but because the esthetic of this gathering place is absolutely gorgeous. Every nook and cranny has something interesting to look at, and no matter which seat you find, it's guaranteed to be comfy and feel simply warm and inviting. I love it here and although it's out of the way, I make the effort to come. I'm from Seattle where there is a coffee shop on every block (sometimes 3 or 5 on a single block!) so to me it means everything to find a place that would fit right in back home. read more

Fantastic new building! And even better coffee with a very distinct chocolaty roast. Only 1 register for what was a long growing lunch line, and only 2 employees helping upfront. I asked for just 1 shot of espresso, the lady had no idea if that was possible or what the price was or how to offer it... Menu only has an option for a double espresso which was $2.50 (additional shot for .50¢); that's understandable. However, I only wanted a single shot. Maybe marketing and ownership should "Redefine" the menu and price of 1 shot of espresso aka a single for .99¢. If I could slap down a 1 dollar bill for a single espresso you'd have all my business and appreciation. As a frequent Europa traveler single espressos are only €1.00 not a cent more... Cappuccino's €2.00; be more like Europe please! I'd still recommend this place to anyone and love it so! Keep up the good work and service! read more

Honestly, it was such a chill place. Extremely good coffee. I got an iced matcha and i was surprised. Not many places get matcha right. The flavor was neither too sweet nor too simple. It was just right. The flavor of the matcha dominated the overall taste but in a very subtle way. My friend got a house coffee and qas impressed as well. 100% would go back there again read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! My husband and I are in here almost every day. The drinks are perfectly crafted. I am addicted to nonfat vanilla lattes, but their lavender flat white, Yama cold brew, and every thing else I have tried is perfect. They have a gluten-free cinnamon roll that is quite tasty. However, I almost cannot leave without getting one of their delicious lemon poppy seed muffins. Plus, they have cute cups for sale! read more

I had just come back to town for the first time in years to recover from a somewhat traumatic event and walking into this coffee shop became the best choice I could have ever made. The ambiance is perfect. Not too crowded but sociable. Probably great for studying or meeting with a friend. The baristas are probably the best part. I was amazed to find that they had rose flavoring and chai lattes so of course I had to order a rose chai latte (if you're going to order this, you HAVE to tip well and keep an open mind. It's a tough drink to make!). The barista warned me that it was one of the most challenging drinks to make and it might not turn out properly but she'd try it... let me assure you, it was heaven. Decadence in a cup. The epitome of luxury caffeination. I wanted to weep tears of joy as I sipped it and it erased my sadness but, of course, I was in a coffee shop and that would have freaked some people out. I'm not even exaggerating. For a moment I forgot all the awful stuff that was happening and had a moment of joy. Thank you guys for existing and congratulations on your expansion! read more

I'm writing this review a few days after my visit to Redefined, and I'm in another coffee shop in another part of the country. Damn. I wish my current drink was even half as good as Redefined. Maybe that's a statement of the poor pour-over I'm sipping here. But I don't think so. Redefined is consistent. And wow, let's not forget to mention their ***unapologetically unpretentious yet professional and capable baristas***. My next visit to DFW, I'm coming back to Redefined. read more

LOVE finding Gem Coffeehouses! This is definitely one! I spend much of my time via business in coffeehouses around DFW and other metro areas and this one is right at the top! Super friendly staff! It's a nice space, which is appreciated, we have been several times and the coffee is ok at the best of times and then there are times likes today when it's just poor. The drinks just tend to be very watery. I had a pour over and while I know it tends to have less fines than a French press, it was just really bland. My wife and sister said their latte drinks were very watery, threw them out after a couple sips. I think this is a good wework type space, seems to be a very relaxing vibe with a lot of space to spread out, but I don't think the coffee is up to snuff. read more

I started a Yelp account and downloaded the app just to tell you guys how awful this place is. I ordered an americano and what I got tasted like rotten milk in hot water.
