Well, they not only did they ghost us on messages and stopped replying, they also would not answer their phone, we offered to come get the bounce house because we have a dump trailer and would be able to save the party if we went and got it, still nothing. My kids were SO excited to have this for their party and all of their friends were eager to play on it as well, obviously. They left us high and dry and still have not reached out to make anything right or even an apology. I had less than a hour before the party was going to start, so I googled bounce houses locally and started making calls and hoping for a Hail Mary that someone could help save the day.... After leaving messages at two places I finally get ahold of a very kind, helpful women at SUNDIAL BOUNCE HOUSE, I told her what was going on and she immediately called her delivery guys to see where they were and if they could make this happen (they are in Red Bluff, so they deliver there first and then come to town to deliver here) the guys turned their truck around to go get us what we needed and came straight to us! I can't begin to explain the gratitude to this company and their staff. They not only saved the day, but they did it with so much kindness and were happy to help AND their prices are much better than our original Y&S Jumpers. They were also helpful in referring us out when we needed other local vendors (like a port o potty). Two things happened that have left a tiny bit of a sour taste in my mouth though. And the second is that we'd rented our linens though our caterer in Chico because it cost us a fraction of what it would have cost to rent through Snow's. Only when they came to pick things up, Snow's snagged the linens too. And then they didn't get back to us until Monday morning, after my sister who lives in Chico and was going to return them for us had to leave. So the guy shows up at our house with them and asks if I want them delivered somewhere (very nice), but when I tell him they are going to Chico he proceeds to tell me about all the different drivers going to Chico and how they've all already just left town so we are basically out of luck. Great. So your drivers are like 30 minutes out of town and would have to make an hour detour to fix your mistake, but instead my husband and I have to make the hour and a half detour to Chico because you are unwilling to call your driver back to Redding to get them. Hummm... My confidence in your excellent customer service is faltering.

In the last 2 weeks my step-father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is declining rapidly. I called last Saturday (3 weeks before the event) to cancel the order and explain the circumstances and Tammy, the owner, told me they could not refund any money, that we can use it for the next party or gift it to someone. I am actually floored that they would refuse to refund under $200 to a family that is going through a shocking tragedy. The caterer, bakery and hall were so gracious. Shame on Rustic Charm.
