She booked us an appointment with her regular stylist (not from Pure Form) for up-dos more than 2 months in advance because we knew it would be hard to get someone on a long weekend Sunday. The plan was to go to the stylist's house because her salon wasn't going to be open on July 1, and we could save a bit of money. It all sounded perfect, until the stylist cancelled on us the day before our appointment!!! After phoning a few mall salons and finding out they didn't open until 11 or 12 am, my friend tried Pure Form, a salon that she used to go to but hadn't been in over a year. The receptionist remembered her and was very sympathetic to our situation. She asked around the salon and luckily a stylist volunteered to come in on her day off. We arrived at the salon and met Lindsay at 8 am on Sunday morning because we needed to be out of there by 10 am for wedding stuff. She was in a great mood and very friendly, especially considering the time :) Lindsay listened to what we wanted and encouraged us to speak up if the style was going somewhere we did not want it to go. She did an amazing job and we both left feeling fantastic. The styles stayed put for over 16 hours, through photos in the heat and lots of dancing. My boyfriend liked my hair style so much, he suggested I do it like that every day. Yeah right - I can barely pull off a pony tail on my own...

They always call to confirm appointments a few days before your scheduled appointment which I really enjoy because when my schedule fluctuates it gives me an opportunity to reschedule. So far all the staff I've dealt with have been friendly and personable and I haven't had any unpleasant experiences, overall I would definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try!

I had my hair buzzed a couple weeks prior, so I hardly had any hair to begin with. I was taken aback when I paid almost $50 to trim a few hairs. Heard that the owner also treats his staff very poorly. I'm glad that we were able to track down our old stylists at her new shop. She has never charged us outrageous prices for a quick touchup like this establishment's owner does.

The place is not very taken care of, the receptionist just sits on Facebook and her phone doing nothing. The stylists are talking about things that don't need to be talked about infront of clients . Oh and the owner. Don't get me started on the owner, Lawrence is it? Yes. If you want to feel like a nobody. Go see him! I have been going there quite often & usually I see the same person, this time I saw someone else, & it was HELL. I showed her a picture of what I wanted & she more or less told me what she was going to look good -- I thought hey she's a stylist, she's a pro she couldn't screw it up too bad right? Wrong! She did something completely different than I has asked for, she didn't even ask me what I thought of it, she was MIA the whole time the color was sitting in my hair. right away she said it looked orange & I should use a toning shampoo to make it look better. I looked in the mirror right away & I wanted to cry. What has she done to my hair? It looked disgusting, it is orange & black, chunky oh & very fried!!!! I complained right away & said I wanted it fixed & they told me I could call & get it fixed for free! I was soo appreciative. I booked in for a fix, I've had my hair up since since it makes me feel absolutely insecure! I was than told 2 days after that I would not be getting a free fix, because it's 1 not fair to the stylist ( because I booked in with a different stylist because I was NOT letting Wynn? I think her name was. Touch my hair ever again.) & this was through a text from one of their stylists who the owner asked to message me? Real professional on the owners part. So I than call & ask to speak to him. & all he has to say is nothing he can do & I cannot have a fix & that was that., he said some hurtful things & not to mention he said if I couldn't afford a fix I couldn't afford that salon? & that they could just get new clients Really? Why should I have to pay for a fix? That makes no sense! I was a loyal paying client aswell? It's been almost 2 weeks my hair is still up in a pony tail & they refuse to do anything for me. Let's be honest my hair looks like shit. Isn't the whole point to make clients feel good about themselves? I will never go back again. I have told all my family & friends as well, there was a discussion on my Facebook about it aswell. So many people complained about the way Lawrence had treated them, not very good customer service if so many people are unhappy. It's a small town people talk. Oh did I mention the stylist that offered to fix my hair. He fired? Ohhh such a professional place! Go to Cochrane angles if you want to be treated terribly & hate your hair!!!!

I saw this salon while grocery shopping, and decided to try it out on a whim - very glad I did! The initial appointment booking was positive - the receptionist asked a couple of questions about my hair, recommended a stylist and was helpful in finding a good time (evenings and weekends... :P) When I arrived for my appointment, the salon appeared fairly clean and tidy with lots of product displays. I was sent to the hair salon downstairs (I didn't realize the building was so big!), where I met my stylist Shauni. She was friendly and welcoming, and totally put me at ease immediately. Here's the thing. I like to change my hair up, and I like a stylist who isn't afraid to make some suggestions based on my face, the way I describe my routine, the length of my hair and any goals I might have (growing it out, something "beachy", etc...) I can be somewhat vague and I don't always know exactly what I want when I arrive at the salon, so I love someone who can be flexible, take charge and produce a great cut on a limited amount of information and direction. Shauni totally did that. She was a great listener, made some suggestions (we cut bangs instead of a side fringe because she pointed out it would get a bit flippy with my glasses - observant!!) and was a confident, efficient stylist. The hair wash chairs were the most comfortable I think I've ever been in. The salon was helpful and friendly, and there was a down-to-business attitude that I really like - I was in and out within about 45 minutes. I love my new haircut, and I'll be going back to her again when it's time to get it cut again!
