I didn't have to SEARCH the store for an employee..I told him my need and he said they didn't do shoe repair there, (mine was a very minor one) but he said, "let me go ask the manager to make sure." See my photo. I saw shoes with very good support for feet and arches. I bought several pairs of socks for men and women, and a nice cushioned heel pad pair. Staff was VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.

The first time I worked at this store during the summer, it was ok so I came back. The second time, I came back as a full time worker and a lot changed. The management was terrible and the store manager was constantly micromanaging everybody. Also my new coworkers were incredibly lazy and hard to get along with. One BIG red flag here was that management would instruct Hardside associates to clock out after the store closed, lock the doors, then make everyone wait until the cashiers finished counting their drawers before employees were free to leave. This would sometimes take more than a 1/2 hour! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention its against OSHA regulation 1910.36(d)(1) to lock the doors with people inside. "Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors".
