Thanks so much, girl! I'm actually driving over right now to drop off more stuff, but wanted to finally get this review out first after meaning to all summer!

She asked her why she wanted to look like an old lady. When the alterations were "finished". The thread in the hem was greasy, the sleeves were crooked and looked like a beginner home- ec project. The sleeves were the right length, bit when I got it home, one sleeve was not sewed in the back and there was a wrinkle sewed into the seam on the shoulder. She was cheerful about fixing the unsewed seam, but claimed the wrinkle was unavoidable because the shortened sleeve was a different circumference from the sleeve hole where it needed to be attached. I pointed out that the opposite sleeve which had also been shortened, had no such wrinkle. She texted that she had finished the repair. When I picked it up, the seam was fixed, but the wrinkle was still there. Shortening the sleeves on a shirt is a very common and comparatively simple task for any seamstress. She does not charge much for her work. ($21 for this project), but she clearly was severely challenged by this request. Nice lady, but not very good at what she does.

She did just fine on hemming jeans, but that's about all I would trust her with. I brought two…read morebrand new sweaters to her to have the sleeves shortened. One sweater, it appeared that she didn't even try to select the correct color thread, and she left the ends of the sleeves flared and puckered. When I asked her about this, she said that she didn't have the right color thread, and that she told me that it might pucker. She never told me such a thing. Second sweater was a knit sweater, and again she used the wrong color, thread, and left holes in the sweater sleeves. Definitely do not recommend this person for alterations beyond very simple things.

The lady told me it should be ready by Wednesday or Thursday. Called both days and it wasn't ready. Was ready on Friday. Went to pick it up. It was half way in the bag and half way out so I couldn't inspect it fully there. Paid almost $80 for the service as it is a big puffy dress. The dress is brand new. We took it out to car and noticed it was ripped on the tulle. I became upset and I immediately took a photo of it and went back in to tell them. The only lady that I have spoken to the whole time and seems to be the only one there is named Kathy. She asked me what I meant when I said it is ripped. I told her about the gash in the tulle and asked if she could come out and look at it. She asked me if it wasn't already ripped. I said, "no, it's brand new!" She said she was the only one there and that wouldn't be her. She didn't seem to care. I showed her the picture I took of the rip. I said well I need it fixed. She said she could take my infomation down. I asked if a manager could call me and she said, "you want my manager to call you?" At this point I am beyond annoyed. Because she could care less. I brought the dress home to inspect it fully and the entire back is still wrinkled completely. I tried looking them up on FB and found an e-mail. I sent them an e-mail with the photos and explantion of what happend. I asked for a refund. I waited all weekend and no call. Called this morning at 8:34 am and was told the manager would be in at 11am. Did not recieve a call. I called today again at 3:37 pm and Kathy answered. I asked for the manager again and they said they are not in. I asked if she gave my message to their manager and she only said she put it on the wall. She also lied saying that the manager called me. Which she did not because I have to record of it. They do not care at all about the customer and making things right! I will be disputing the charge with my bank as they did not provide the service that I paid for and also ripped the dress.
