Not only is Patanee the most righteous Alterations Expert around, but she's a hoot to interact with! And her little dog too... Every single item I've brought here has come back in *far* better condition than when I originally purchased it; if it's a quick fix, she does it right there and then. But even though she's a busy gal basically covering all of Cheyenne, Patanee still manages to make sure you never have to wait too long for your items to be ready for wear again in a few days! I watched her completely humiliate a high school girl with her prom dress. The girl wanted to make her dress more modest because she didn't feel comfortable with a plunging neckline. She asked her why she wanted to look like an old lady. When the alterations were "finished". The thread in the hem was greasy, the sleeves were crooked and looked like a beginner home- ec project. I spent all night fixing the dress for this beautiful young woman's prom. read more

The most unprofessional experience I have EVER had to go through. I dropped off my bridesmaid dress and expressed that there was a time frame and it had to be done by that date. She reassured me numerous times that she could have it done. The day before I was scheduled to pick it up, I called to follow up with her to make sure it was going to be ready and once again, she reassured me. When I got there at 3pm the following day, she had closed the shop early!! I had to go in to the Blackjack pizza next door and have them call the building landlord. It gets even crazier...her husband had to drive her to the shop because she was drunk!! AND MY DRESS HADN'T EVEN BEEN WORKED ON!! It sat in her shop for 2.5 weeks and she did zero to it!! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. The amount of stress isn't worth it. Not to mention she is the most expensive alterations business in town. read more

She will spank you with a ruler if you forget to bring in you receipt! (weird) She hemmed curtains & sheers for me, The curtains were fine. I had taken the curtains& sheers in and she gave me the price on them, then complained in English and ? when I paid what was on the receipt. She said the sheers were hard to do! Evidently the were, because they were all different lengths and a DAY late! I will not be back! read more

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Patanee has saved my butt more than once over the years when I was in the military. There was I few times that I needed new stripes on uniforms ASAP or needed my dress blues altered ASAP because maybe 25 year old Brandon ate the 19 year old Brandon and they were a little snug and needed to be worn very soon. She will knock stuff out quick if you're in a pinch, just make sure you leave her a decent tip for her doing stuff like that because she does have other stuff she has to do. The ladies in here are the funniest and nicest people. Highly recommended! read more

She got my hubby's uniform ready to wear (stripes, name tapes & elastics in the pants) within 24 hours which would NEVER happen on base (sorry AAFES)! I've found my new alterations shop. read more

I took in 6 shirts and paid $10.00 per shirt to have them shortened. Her price was $12.00 per shirt, but when I went into shock, she lowered it to $10.00. When I picked them up (the first time) every one of them already had the thread coming out. I chose the worst 3 and took them back to have them redone. She said she would redo them for free, I said OK because I needed to have them fixed. When I picked them up the second time, they were redone but they were worse than the first time. She didn't even take out the old thread, just sewed right over it with a different color. Every one of them has the hem coming out already. They can't be worn, they have to be fixed again. She clearly takes no pride in her work and has lost me as a customer. I gave her one star because I had to just to write this review. read more

Ms. Patanee is an expert at her craft. She is client-oriented and has 40+ years of experience in repairs, tailoring, and the art of many types of sewing. She has superior and specific knowledge of military uniforms to include branch, rank and correcting manufacturer defects in uniform design. She can let out clothing for comfort as well as take in clothing for best appearance and design. read more

I was very clear about the type of alteration I wanted and she said she could do it no problem. When I picked it up, it was nothing like how it was supposed to look and it was the worst hack job I'd ever seen...honestly I think I could have done better myself and I dont even sew. She completely ruined my article of clothing and her only response was "sorry". In hindsight, I should have gotten my money back but I was so upset I just wanted out of there. Now, I'm out the money I paid for the clothing and the money I paid for her to ruin it. Seriously, Don't take anything here that is of any value unless you are willing to take the risk that you won't ever be able to wear it. read more

I have been using Patanee's for years, I have taken in many articles of clothing including my wedding dress,as the lady's shop I bought it from refused to do the alterations I wanted. she has done everything I asked exactly how I wanted it. I used to take a lot of items to be tailored here. At first it seemed OK, but as I had more experience I found that the quality of the tailoring is not what it needs to be for these prices. I noticed seams that were puckered, small rips that should have been fixed but weren't, and with anything that I would wear on my torso, the fit just wasn't right. To pay to have something tailored and then have it fit worse than before is a disappointing experience. I feel like this is shortcut tailoring. I had to get another tailor to fix some things and she said the work looked like an unskilled person trying DIY. On top of all this, the turnaround times are inconsistent, and I've seen the tailor actually yell and swear around customers. I wish I had realized sooner that I was getting a poor quality service for too much money. If you have something simple like hemming pants or adding elastic to a cuff, it will probably be decent. But I urge you to consider your options, because you can probably find a better tailor who will not charge nearly as much. For anything more complicated, go elsewhere. read more

I went to this lady for my bridal gown alterations, and was incredibly unhappy with her craftsmanship, as well as her customer service. My dress was a lace, sheath-fitting gown in which I needed taken in around the chest and bodice. When I first went in for my fitting, I was in and out of her shop in about five minutes. I should have expressed my concerns then, but felt reassured by her confidence that she could get the job done. I returned a week later to a dress that not only remained loose on me, but was ruined in regards to the lace overlay. She first told me it was my fault for losing weight (even if I had tried, how much could I have possibly lost in a week?). When I wouldn't agree with her on that, she then proceeded to tell me that the fit was good, and that I wouldn't want to make it any tighter [never mind the fact that with the right turn and angle, I was exposing my chest]. She and her assistant then added that I needed to get a padded bra to help fill the chest area. I finally pleaded my case enough, that she agreed to re-work the alteration. She had me leave for an hour, only to return to a dress that wouldn't even zip up! I had to take the dress on and off THREE MORE TIMES before it finally zipped. To top it all off, she asked that I pay her $50 more for her extra work!!! It was a terrible experience, and I will not be returning to her for any future business. It's a shame that I entrusted her with such an important dress. read more
