He informed us of sales going on, regularly checked in while we were shopping (but did not overdo it!) and was an absolute delight while ringing us out and assisting with my questions. One thing in particular that I also appreciated was that he was *constantly* working around the store in a meaningful manner while he was not assisting customers. As a manager myself, he is the exact type of employee I strive to have in my business. The store itself is clean and packed with merchandise. I saw a few pieces of clothing I really liked, but unfortunately none in size small. They should be delivered within the week so I'll have to pop in for an update since my Yelp friend reported back for a poor online experience. I updated my Arizona Birks and I found the cutest pair of wedge sandals for my Summer dresses. I hadn't been here since I was in high-school looking for JA shoes and I'm glad I opened an email with a promo. I got a deal on all three pairs that I went back online and bought more shoes. I chose to pickup in store since I had to take care of some business at a bank nearby. The overall experience was okay. Both ladies working the counter were just okay. Neither were very welcoming, but not completely rude. I may opt out for an online experience to avoid these unnecessary encounters. The Deals are great. Sign up for their notifications. Tried to reorder online, but again, I had issues... So I called customer service and asked for NEW pairs/reordered. Again, good service, but we will see what gets shipped. Update 2 - Now I am up to my 6th pair. Sadly, I had so many issues with the shoes not being new, the shoes were being shipped from so many different places, arriving on different days/times, and one never delivered, even though their website said they were delivered. If you buy different brands of shoes, and from different countries, all sizes are NOT equal... Some run larger, some smaller, etc. This is one of the reasons I am NOT an online customer. Had some downtime so I went to Jackpot Thrift to browse. They have a variety of clothing, some…read moredated, others new(ish) and others well-loved. Prices are a little more than thrift store prices but definitely an adventure. I shopped the dollar rack out front and found some pieces for myself, my son and my daughter. I also found some soft linens for my kitchen! My total was about $13 for 6-7 clothing items! You can find other things like toys, beach accessories, jewelry, houseware, shoes, other random finds. I would definitely come back to check out the goods there. It can be hit or miss depending on the day/time.
