If you are looking for exceptional quality used clothes, very good brand names and a super convenient spot in inclined village, this is your place. We drove from South Tahoe to here because of its great reputation. Both of my kids got items from here. One got brand name shirt, the other got some cargo pants and a semi formal dress for an upcoming dance at school, I got a jacket. On a previous visit with only some friends, I was able to get some brand name almost brand new hiking boots at an extremely reasonable price. I was really impressed with Karma as a consignment store? They offer high end name brand clothes and accessories. The store is well organized and does not smell like a thrift or consignment store - which is a plus! I've started consigning some stuff and it has worked out great. My first time to Karma did not disappoint! As a thrifter, I had to talk myself into spending more than I'm used to. But I'm so glad I did! Clothes seemed to be $20-$30ish but you can tell by the fit and feel (if not the brand name) that they're worth it. When I have the time, I love shopping at consignment stores. So Karma was a great stop while recently staying in Incline Village. Over the years, I have found some of my favorite fashion items at consignment stores. If you are looking for a specific item, you most likely won't find it at a consignment shop. But if you are open to a spur-of-the-moment find, then consignment shopping is for you. Karma merchandise is nicely organized and displayed. I tried on several tops, including at least one with the original tags. I was happy to come away with a casual shirt that is perfect for transitional wear in the fall. The prices are high and the people are very rude!! They have some great clothes, lots of options and is very well stocked with quality items however I will not go here again because the staff had attitude, was rude, short with sentences and when a family wanted to come in who did not want to wear a mask because they were vaccinated....the lady lied to them about it being a LAW in Nevada that we had to wear a mask even if vaccinated!! They were very snotty and rude to these people as well as me and my mom while shopping!! So we left! It's not about being vaccinated or not vaccinated....it about treating people with respect and kindness no matter what you believe!! And Never lie!! The husband said he was a Nevada resident and called the lady out on her lie. Do not waste your time or efforts with Karma Boutique Tahoe, 868 Tahoe Blvd #12, Incline Village, NV 89451 I submitted gently used designer items (Brands: Uggs, Sorel, Frye Donald Pliner, Hobo etc.) shoes, boots, sneakers wallets, clothing on 10/13/22. I visited on 10/15/22 to see where my items were placed as a few were immediately placed out for sale:) A few items sold immediately, an email was received to verify sale and available balance. All my items were fall / winter and holiday items, appropriately timed for the season:) Another consigner, came in looking for her items. We both were surprised to learn quite a few of our items were not on display. When asked, Kim the owner of Karma Boutique Tahoe stated they must be somewhere in the store?? I personally looked around only to my disappointment that my items were no longer on display. Kim, the owner began barking how she didn't have time to show me where my items were presented. I offered to look around myself. I also had a small bag of other designer items. I called ahead and spoke to Brandy. Brandy was willing to take my items and give me a quick invoice. Brandy left for the day before I arrived. When I presented my few items, Kim proceeded to yell insults at me. I asked her to stop and mentioned there must be a misunderstanding. I mentioned I spoke to Brandy and she was willing to take items. Kim proceeded with her ungrateful obnoxious yelling in front of the few customers inside the store. As an owner of a consignment store that depends on customers bringing desired merchandise, Kim falls short in expressing appreciation. All my visits were in the morning right when the doors are open to avoid it being crowded with perspective customers. My last visit on 11/11/22, Veterans Day, before I asked to return all my items, I looked around and noticed my Hobo wallet, nor my Sorel sneakers nor silk kimono, nor my Northface black fleece jacket were not on display. I inquired about them. The salesperson Nikki stated she would look for them and call me later. I asked for my items to be returned to me immediately. Funny how they had to go to the back of the store in a room where customers are not permitted to grab my items that were stuffed inside bags?? Kim, the owner of Karma Boutique Tahoe has shady business tactics to say the least, does not value honesty and mistreats her consigners who are actually giving her business!! Seeing the items she kept for resale - I was impressed by how discerning she is about what she takes for the shop. All upscale items. It's a cute little place in a shared building as Starbucks. Thankfully when I checked yelp, I got the heads-up that I wouldn't see a storefront from street level. The selection was season appropriate, which was great as some stores in September will still have their leftover summer stock. Looking through the racks, the items were in good/gently used condition. Things were organized and therefore easy to find. It's a little bit on the pricy side in my opinion, but I suppose in terms of supply/demand as there are hardly and women's clothing stores in the area, that's what factors into it. This place is a rip off. You get a 60/40 split which is unheard of. Be aware, Even if you discuss prices previous with the owner she will price things however she deems necessary once you leave. Every now and then you can find an item at a great deal, but I would suggest driving down to Reno to a different consignment boutique to sell your clothes. read more

Living in Incline Village there are very few (good) places to shop. I am an avid consigner and have done so many years - prior to moving to Incline as well. I have to say Karma is one of the best consignment shops I have experienced. From Lululemon, to Free People and Chanel it's all here! Great quality as well. Not only have I made a small fortune selling my clothes here (if they are not sold they are donated to a good cause) I rarely make it out without a newfound piece that becomes my own. I called twice ask where this business was located and left a message. No return call. I spent 30 minutes driving around looking for it. Then I parked and walked to try to find it. A photo of the storefront would be helpful to start. Also, leaving directions on the answering machine would be of help. I walked into Starbucks to use the restroom. Then, I found Karma. It was closed at 4:45 when it clearly stated on Yelp hours are until 5:30pm. There was a tiny chalk sign with the store name and a note stating they closed early on 5/26 (today is 5/29). You know what they say about Karma... Pro tip: Park in the Starbucks parking lot and go into the Starbucks/Reality building. It's inside there. read more

I called Sarah at Karma and asked for a check for my sales October 2, Sarah said she would put it in the mail. Several weeks later still no check. I left several text and voice mails inquiring. Finally Oct 26 she finally responded and said it was Nevada Day and she would get it in the mail. Still no check for the clothing she sold of mine. I called and left a detailed message how patiently I have have been waiting. "NO reply " and still no check a month later! What kind of business is she running here? No response? No check?
